I'm finishing up early too and can't wait. I have the rest of this week and next week then a week off then just 2 weeks after that. I will be 32+1 on my last shift. My have 4 weeks annual leave first so officially maternity leave starts at 36+4wks. I would say sod it for going in now if I didn't need the money! xx

So the doctor said the numbness and tingling in my arm and face yesterday could have been a migraine but he can't say. He's sent me to hospital for them to check me over and hopefully rule out a mini stroke :-O
I'll keep you all posted. Xxx

Goodness Jenni, hope all ok. Good for you getting it checked out.

I'm leaving work in 13 working days, 24th March, then 2 week school hols, then mat leave starts April 11th when I'm 36 weeks. Can't wait, but so much to do to get stuff prepared for teacher taking over from me and time rapidly running out now.

Being self employed I am very jealous of you all having dates for nat leave starting. I was hoping to get a member of staff to cover while I was off, but it's proving more difficult than I thought. Just wish I had something to count down to.

All was fine at the hospital they agreed that it was more than likely a migraine so not to worry. They mentioned a referral to neurology for tests if it happens again tho.
They had me on the monitor while I was there as I noticed that baby had been quite quiet this morning but she was fine I was probably just too stressy to notice many movements. I'm lay on the sofa now and she's having a wiggle so pretty sure she's ok
My mum took great pleasure in ringing work to tell them I wouldn't be in today!! I think they were panicking cos mom ended up getting a call off her friend who was worried - i work with his step daughter, she must have called her parents and told them what was happening as they thought I'd actually had a stroke :-O news travels so fast, it's like Chinese whispers!!
What a day it's been, thankfully everything is ok with us both but it all seems quite funny now

What a day!!! Midwife appointment was fine, but I mentioned baby was being very quiet today. So i was told to monitor for the rest of the day and call the MAU if baby didn't perk up. Sure enough, the afternoon passes with only a handful of movements compared to normal, so I call the MAU and they want me in straight away.
And of course, as soon as im strapped up to the monitor, the little terror goes nuts! But i'm so pleased I went in, and so pleased of course that everything is ok. The midwives were lovely, they've said to go back anytime i'm worried, it's no big deal for them and they're always happy to check that everything is ok

Oh glad your both ok, I ended up at MAC last night too, I've been in a lot of pain with my tummy, laying,bending,crouching so painful and VERY watery discharge, phoned them told to lay on my side with hot water bottle and painkillers, didn't help went into Mac, and I was having daily Braxton hicks! And had to be checked that my waters hadn't broke(luckily they hadn't) still in pain now so laid in bed with heat bag on feeling sorry for myself.
Little mans heartbeat was good as well and very wriggly. I'm ready for him to come now, I'm completely fed up now. Xx

I've had the worst nights sleep yet....Logan must have laid himself on a nerve in my back and I woke up in excruciating pain and could not shift it whatever I did, I must have finally fallen asleep as o dreamt about the pain but was wide awake again at 3am x

Ive been up since 5am.

Insomina has really kicked in. Seems to be the same every night.. 2am, luxkly i nod bk off, then 5am but up for the sodding day! Argh.

Anyway! Noahs dad is coming to take him swimming later sonim off to go anoop at a new sofa in DFS.
My old one was only paid off last month lol! But after 4yrs im bored of it! Re decorated too and now it doesnt match lol x

I'm sat at the docs waiting for mw, went to work this morn first before appointment, you know when you just know that work "mates" are pissed off because you have an appointment?! Could cut the atmosphere with a knife. When one of us is off they have to cover our deliveries as well as there own so a 10 min appointment to me is an hours deliveries to them! Oh well!!

Is anyone else feeling ridiculously uncomfortable now? Even my haven of a hot bath is ruined as I just can't get comfy in it. I'm sure it wasn't this bad with the last 4. I can't remember the last time I was comfy anywhere for more than an hour-even lying in bed is uncomfy

Back ache has kicked in for me just over the last couple of days. Right between the shoulder blades, all the way down to my bum.
I still feel like May is ages away, and that this is only going to get worse as bump continues to grow!

I'm trying to break it down so it goes quicker...the kids have got 3 weeks at school until they break up for Easter then the holidays always go quick then when they go back il be 37 weeks x

We're going to look at another house this morning, then dropping Oscar off with my mum so we can come back and get stuck in to getting the house ready for photos on Monday!! Xxx
