--x--December 2017 Snowflakes Thread--x--

Freaking out today! Wiped and had a bit of brown on the tissue. Had it with my first pregnancy at around the same time. Just had it between 6am-7am and a little bit just now. It's a bit like when you wipe at the very end of your period (tmi). Trying not to get too upset. I'm not in pain or anything and I thought my boobs had stopped hurting this morning, but they're back to being sore. Just going to have to keep my fingers crossed it doesn't become red and painful.

Oh what a worry joey! Hopefully as it's brown it's just some old blood coming away. I've got everything crossed for you that it's nothing xx

JoeyClare - I've heard so many stories about Brown spotting and pink spotting. I had the pink spotting on Easter Sunday. No pain and no red blood. I'd say if there was any red blood to go and get checked out, but you always should if you're worrying, no need to stress yourself out. I'm still feeling nervous because I haven't had my scan yet and I'm praying everything's ok. I'm sure it is as I've had an increase of symptoms xx

Hi Joey, if it's any consolation I had this, but quite a bit for a couple of days, if it's just a tiny bit, don't worry but if it continues call to get an early scan but it sounds fine. I know this sounds crazy also but its the best piece of advice I've had for it... make sure you are ultra hydrated, drink drink drink. When your body's dehydrated Ive heard it forces it to contract, causing more cramps, it sounded nuts at first but I believe it now because since I've paid attention to it and drunk ridiculous amounts of water it's stopped.. and no one ever tells you this is even a thing!
The way to think of it is that when you are TTC they say drink plenty to up your fertile cm as the more liquids you drink the more fluids you produce (TMI sorry), the same applies when pregnant, if you're not drinking enough you're not building up enough 'fluids' therefore presumably your body dispels what ever else is there... namely any old blood that is left - I know how stupid this sounds but it really makes sense when you think about it - and it seems to be working for me! ... hope it helps!

Thanks Helen. Yeah it does! I thought if I done the digi tomorrow I might see it moved up as it'll be almost a week since the last. If it hadn't I wouldn't panic too much as I know well they don't always adjust! My tests are really dark still today so that's reassuring me. I'll maybe wait and see what my levels are from the GP then do the digi if it fills me with more confidence! I'm relaxing more about the progesterone. I'm day 3 without it and everything still appears to be going well so fingers crossed! Thanks hun. How are you doing? Xx

Hey Leah, sounds like all is well which is great! But I totally get your nerves. It's just an impossibly long wait until you can get something real like a scan pic! Let us know tomorrow how your tests are looking.

All fine here, I have another scan next Thursday.. no symptoms still with the exception of crazy tiredness but otherwise good...just hoping my little mini one is still growing in there! x

It does feel like the longest wait ever. I'm hoping time doesn't go too slowly. Testing and seeing the lines progesss is what's keeping me going! I'll definitely let you know :)

With my son I never had any symptoms till 7 weeks so don't be worried by a lack of them. I have everything crossed for your little one!! I decided to be brave and make a ticker xx

Thanks ladies, nothing else since. A bit crampy at times, but no different to the cramps I've had the last 2 weeks. I'm more tempted by a reassurance scan now as although I know it wouldn't prevent anything, I'd rather know. I'm 5+6 though, so it may or may not show a heartbeat yet. So think I just need to wait it out and hope.

Thanks for the water tip. I definitely need to do this as I'm awful at drinking. I've come home shaky and feeling faint even though I've eaten fine. Already feeling stressed with work which probably isn't helping!

Sorry to hear you've had a bit of a scare Joey. It's worth calling your epu who should get you in for an early scan, they don't do them until 6 weeks in my area but they shouldn't be able to get you booked in and hopefully put your mind at ease x

Thanks, I think if I have any more tomorrow, then I'll call as I will be 6 weeks tomorrow. If not then I'll just mention it to my midwife on Thursday at my booking in appt. It doesn't help that I feel really wet (tmi) today, so constantly feel like I'm going to look and see a load of blood. Feel like I want to take a sleep and wake up in 6 weeks!

Afternoon ladies,

Quiet here today. Are you all ok? I'm struggling terribly with nausea and feeling faint since yesterday. I'm really terrified of fainting. It's only me and my toddler at home. So scared he'd hurt himself or get scared himself! I fainted once when I was pregnant with him, after having a shower and I would say I was a little dehydrated, but it terrified me. I'm keeping hydrated and eating constantly just to try and keep it at bay but it isn't working xx

Oh lulu, poor you. Have you tried salted crackers?

I'm really irritable today. Everyone & everything is annoying me. Had my MIL round too, she's irritating at the best of times but jheeeeeeeezzz today was something else!

Sorry to hear you are struggling today Lulu. I've been feeling dizzy whenever I stand up so am having to get up slowly and sometimes have to steady myself for a few seconds before moving again. I also had bad shoulder ache yesterday which I decided must mean ectopic pregnancy (damn you Google) so I was panicking last night but it has eased off so is probably nothing. Feel like my boobs have been used as punch bags too.

Have you had anymore bleeding JoeyClare?

I had some dizziness very early on and then felt faint after work yesterday. Hope you feel better soon Lulu.
I'm with you on the irritability GF91! I'm using far too many 4 letter words today!

I had nothing until just before Joeypops, then went to the loo wiped and had more than yesterday. Not in pain still and it's brown and a bit mucussy. Rang the midwife for advice and she's just said if it continues or i have a lot of pain to go to A&E. I'lol discuss it with the midwife on Thursday and see if she can refer me to EPAU. Really struggled to sleep last night as I was worrying. 95% of what I've read is that brown is fine and pregnancy has gone on tonne healthy, so just clinging to that. It was fine when I had it with my first pregnancy, I just seem to be having more. I was having dreams when I finally did fall asleep that I had loads of red blood and I kept having to get up and check!

I'm trying everything in the book. I'm just praying I don't actually get sick. I physically can't feel anymore drained than I already do.

I've gone off meat completely, the same as I did with my son! Devastated really. Can't even have a decent sandwich. Here's to no meat until December xx

I'm the opposite lulu, craving meat just now which is really rare for me. Good luck for your scan tomorrow!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you too JoeyClare, it is most likely nothing but it's impossible not to worry at this stage.

My back is killing me tonight

Thank you sweetie. I'm going to be having nervous poos all day tomorrow haha. Scan is at 3:15 so I'll update you all as soon as I come out.

Managed a stir fry tonight, just avoided the chicken, so basically I had noodles and veg for dinner haha xx

I'm having a tough time to be honest with work, baby boy and uni along with feeling sick and passing out. I've spent the best part of 3 days in tears so yeah not ideal. Baby boy is teething (he's 8 months and still has none) and he is very clingy .... with his childminder

Scan on Sunday and worrying about that too.

Hope you're all feeling a bit better then i am xx

Laughing at the nervous poos! Shame you have to wait most of the day but you can hopefully relax tomorrow night x

Joeypops - Oh don't, I'm so bad for a nervous poo. The 2 other internals I've had, I've been scared in case I pooed myself I was that nervous haha! Not ideal.

I'm so bloody nervous I feel physically sick. Don't know how I'm going to manage to eat today xx
