The New IVF/IUI Thread - 5BFPs!

good luck for testing Skeando, I really hope it's a lucky day for you hun XX

Yeah I just cut down a few doses, figured I would rather maybe have to do it for a day extra at end than go over and get cancelled. I dont think they know what to make of me and my amh of 4 nearly overstimming on the lowest dose you can do. App they normally struggle to get one follicle a ith an amh of four.

Im not out yet, gonna test In morning and official bloods on fri. Just not feeling like it has worked.

See I just don't understand why these clinics don't think like this either, surely it makes so much more sense to start on a smaller dose and up it if need be than starting too high and having to cancel :wall2:

Do you remember how much you lowered it by? I'm on Gonal F rather than Menopur so have a great pen that goes up in 12.5IU increasements, I think it still contains the same amount of FSH as Menopur though. Tonight I took 62.5IU rather than the 75 but not sure what to do for the next 5 injections, i'm thinking of perhaps missing one over the weekend of alternating 75 and 50 for the next 5 days.

Did they only ever test your amh once? maybe the result was just a one off bad one for some reason. I can't remember what mine was but I think it's normal what ever that is cause I was told all bloods were good and as they should be.

Ahh, you never know though as a lot of people seem to say that. Will be keeping everything crossed for you x

Just tested with a frer and fmu and it was negative..... so I guess I'm out.

Gutted.

Hey Sorry not been on here for ages... we have been moving house and had to get the internet connected again, plus my husband has just had skull replacement surgery so been all over the place but happy to say that all went amazingly well and hes back to normal now.
First of all, ive had a read through all the posts and was following all your journeys...so sorry for you's who have the BFN'S and MASSIVE CONGRATS TO THE BFP's!!!
We are currently waiting for a call from the hospital (which they said will take up to a month, but my friend was called after a week) and we are about 5 days into that now... once they ring I will be starting on the down regulators from my next period; so depending when they ring could be starting it in 2 weeks or 6 weeks.
Im got mixed emotions over it all, as i know you all understand; im really excited but im also nervous and I dont want to get my hopes but but I just keep imagining being pregnant in a few months...but then dont know how i'll cope if its negative.
Ive finally managed to quit smoking, its been 5 weeks now!! And we are both taking our vitamins. OH AND GOOD NEWS.... DH's sperm count has gone up from 4 mil to 18 mil!! so no longer deemed low, but she did say the tails are really short still so they cannot swim fast, but anyway it made him feel better.
I do hope you's are all ok, and I will be on here alot more now I have my internet back xxx

Hi gemma, nice to hear from you again ans well done on the no smoking!

Sorry Skeando. Serious lack of BFPs for us ladies lately :(

I was supposed to have my follow up consultation Monday but the damn clinic have changed it to 5th March. Grrrrr! Nothing going on here though, no AF for 51 days, did a test yesterday just to rule it out and BFN but no surprise. Sigh.

3rd time is indeed lucky!

I never thought I'd see the day!

Skeando - I'm so sorry huney - sending you a big hug, take a few days for yourself and then think about the next plan. this cycle was good in that you know what you need to do to get to the end of cycle without being canceled, even with your starting late tweek at home. XX
