is anyone having a hard time adjusting to there expanding belly?

Im not huge and im ok with getting a cute bump infact rather excited :-D but i cant help get stressed about trying to look nice to go out. im at a work meal/evening out on Friday and all the dresses just make me look plump not prego so im getting a little stressed out, plus i have a wedding in September and hate the fact im going to have to leave it until the last minute to find something because i have no idea how big im going to be at 27weeks.

My sister is getting married in march she has gave me a 3 month timeline bless her becasue she knows i wouldnt be a bridesmaid if i couldnt get as close to my old size as possible... i was between 8-10 pre pregnancy ive put nearly a stone on in the 17 weeks, do you think its possible to lose the baby weight in 3months or am i fighting a losing battle?
You will no doubt have a lovely bump to show off in August though...

Yeah, i'm definitely going to find out the sex - i'm far too impatient to wait till i meet LO and i want to be prepared with baby clothes etc! xxx

I know it'll fly by really - only 28 days to go and I have another midwifes appointment in between now and then to keep me occupied.
Now we have to decide whether we're going to stay team yellow or find out

No way am I having an amnio, it can cause miscarriages.
If I come out high risk for downs syndrome I'm just going to go ahead with the pregnancy.

Just wanted to say good on you! In my very personal opinion, I wish there were more people like you out there!!

Hey everyone, had my 16 week midwife appointment today even though I am 17 weeks!
Blood pressure is fine, weight is 8 stone, I've put some on!
Urine sample was clear, uterus position is perfect and baby's heartbeat is strong

I had a blood test done also (AGAIN!) for downs syndrome. I asked about my other blood test results as I haven't had them yet from the blood test 2-3 weeks ago!! She said I will get the results in the post but if there was a problem they would have notified the midwives of it which they haven't so I think all is well with that!

Got my next midwife appointment at 25 weeks and then every 3 weeks after that.

Bought some baby clothes and toiletries with my OH after the appointment, which was lovely Brilliant day!

I did mention that we have the same scan date on another thread not long ago I think it was a thread where someone found out they were having a baby boy.

I'm definitely finding out the sex, I'm so EXCITED for the scan! Not long now!! xxx
