I've used my healthy extra b for olive oil today and made some lush chips. Nom nom nom. Think I might do that more often!

Did you fry them in it?

Can anyone give me ideas on how to get my hex a choices as I am bf I'm supposed to have 3-4 but I don't like milk to drink or in cereal, I don't drink tea, and don't want cheese more than twice s week

I boiled them then put them in the.oven and just drizzled the oil over the top before they cooked. They were lush. I felt like something comfort foody so had 2 be good to yourself sausages (half a syn each), sw chips and broccoli. Totally hit the spot.

I have no idea about what you could have! Do you like milkshakes? Could you have cheese (like babybel or something) and syn a milkshake or have a lunch or dinner you can mix cheese into like carbonara or mash potato?

Kayelle not sure what you could have either x

Mel I love the slimming world chips but they take so long when you're hungry lol

I made a chicken noodle soup last night and it was amazing

3 knorr chicken stock pots in with boiling water, 2 crushed garlic cloves (if you want veg add it here) bring to the boil, add noodles for 3-4 mins of simmering, pull your cooked chicken into strips and add, let it cook for 2-3 mins and it's done.. Serious comfort food x

Thanks am, just had a lil bit in my potch :-)
Feb mum that sounds lush I'm gonna try some :-)

If i had jacket potatoes with baked beans and salad would that be a syn free meal? And do I need to buy beans with no added sugar?

Also, am I right that you can have up to 15 syns per day? Should you have less syns if you dont have much to loose? I want to loose about 2 - 2 1/2 stone. Thank you.

Argh! I was being so so good but my LOs birthday today just blew it. I didn't go crazy but I certainly didn't stick to syns. Grrr. Hate days like that.

I'm sure you will be fine, and its not lo birthday all the time!

I've picked the worst time to start slimming world. I'm out for 2 pub lunches this week and next week I'm at a wedding. I've struggled to stick to my syns the past couple of days.
I went for lunch on Friday and had a caeser salad but it was covered in dressing but I still guess thats better than a burger and chips which is what I would have had. I wanted a jacket potato but they didn't have them on the menu.
I'll have a jacket tomorrow when I go for lunch again.

Just hope I've done enough to lose at least a couple of pounds on Wednesday.

Don't worry Roo in my first week I had a pub lunch carvery, and a cider in my first week and panicked, but lost 7lbs! I'm glad I started on a busy week, because if i left it I would of had a higher starting weight!

We went out for a meal today :wall: Im fully expecting a gain or sts this week. Im going to do zumba tonight and swimming tomorrow then a run on Tuesday and try some superspeed days on Monday and Tuesday to try and claw back a loss and get myself back on track.

It was a lush meal though  how was everyone's weekend? More successful than mine I hope!

Hey hun, I know some people that have a day off every week and are still successful so don't worry too much!! Oh, super speed days??!! I'm intrigued, what does this entail? Xxx

Ive seen it mentioned alot on another forum. It's just where you make an effort to each mostly superspeed foods. So Ill make some soup to have for lunch and pick some SS veg to go with dinner. Ill probably watch my carb intake too, which I think I need to do anyway as I can go a bit mad with the pasta and potato

Luckily I've got nothing planned for the coming week so I can get my first 100% week like Ive wanted to for ages.
