Last night my DH had a lightbulb moment and said that baby is full term in 3 weeks - and then was like, omg we could have a baby in three weeks! His anxiety went up thinking about all the things we have to do! I told him, sweetie - baby can come right now for all we know! But it’s crazy how close I am til the end

I’m going to start packing my hospital bag and washing the baby clothes and stuff next week! Eeek

Hope some of these babies are on their way soon. I am being induced at 39 weeks (on Thursday) due to a few episodes of reduced movements. Not long to go now, feeling a little nervous .

No movement from me! I’m getting very fed up.
I had midwife on Wednesday she did a stretch and sweep and said I was 2cm and she could stretch it to more, he was very low down in my pelvis and she could feel my waters and baby’s head.
Since the sweep I’ve been loosing my plug/bloody mucus (sorry tmi) had a few mild contractions Wednesday night and thought it was starting but nothing had progressed.
Nothing much pain or contraction wise on Thursday just the odd contraction and today nothing at all really. Wednesday and Thursday I did lots of walking, bouncing on my yoga ball and ate a lot of pineapple but it hasn’t made anything progress.
Fingers crossed he comes soon!

No movement from me! I’m getting very fed up.

It’s so awful I wanted to cry last night because all I wanted to do was sleep and couldn’t because I’m congested and have razor blades in my throat lol! I had many thoughts of hating him for giving it to me haha. Hoping it will only last a few days!

Unfortunately, GP said I can only take paracetamol. I haven’t bothered taking any, so just going to grin and bear it! Feeling a bit better now, so hopefully on the mend

No idea re: BH! I’m not sure if I have had them already. I don’t know what contractions feel like and I don’t know what BHs would feel like either haha. I just get random aches and pains and hope that it’s not a sign of early labour! Way too early for me.

Interesting about the due dates, mine had changed a bit but midwives have gone off my LMP date, which I think was the most accurate date than the early scan dates. I didn’t get a new due date at my 12 week scan!

Oh well, our bubs will arrive when ready! Fx you don’t need that induction x

Haha omgosh what a tease! Sorry I have no tips for you - because I have no idea! I keep getting pains low down, but I honestly have no idea if they are BHs or something else!

I'm feeling a bit better thanks! It has been a cold, miserable and rainy day in Sydney today - so being sick doesn't seem so bad!

I had a few contractions last night again and even put my TENS machine on but as soon as I put it on they stopped!

Hope it does the trick! How long will they let you go overdue before an induction? I believe it's 10 days for me.

They will let me go 12 days over. Midwife said at my appointment last week she was going to book me in for induction on Saturday 21st when I would be 12 days over due.
First week in September the hospital had to close as there were so many women having babies so she said she was booking me in and we could cancel if it wasn’t needed but at least I would be booked in. I really hope I don’t need to be induced I was a little emotional yesterday thinking about it

Good luck! I don't know much about being induced, I'll have to look it up. Is there any reason you're against it?

Hi ladies baby Myles finally made his arrival in Wednesday 18th sept after a very speedy delivery.
I had my stretch and sweep 3pm and felt uncomfortable after some cramping and not able to sit down comfy.
Around 7pm started to feel a little worse and decided to ring grandparents to get my daughter they arrived at 7.45pm by then I was getting lots of pressure and had rang the hospital who said to go in. I wasn’t really getting contractions just felt pressure.
In the car the contractions came think and fast and were so painful!
Got to hospital at 8pm into the room at 8.06pm my waters broke at 8.07pm got onto the bed and pushed for 2 minutes at he was born!! Only had chance for a few puffs of gas and air!!

I’m doing ok, I’ve picked up a cold though so half the stuff I want to get done, I’m not getting done as it’s a head cold so feel so out of it! Hubby and I had the day together yesterday, was really nice but I’m finding now if I stand/walk for too long my back just kills me! It’s also still hot here, which I normally wouldn’t complain about but it’s hard to sleep. I hope baby arrives early and I don’t go over! I just feel so ready now and sick of feeling hot and having rubbish sleeps (I know, I know when baby arrives I’ll still have rubbish sleeps lol). I normally wake at 3am and lie there for two hours awake! Anyways I don’t want to complain too much, as soon she’ll be here. I’m just so ready to meet her and see what she looks like!!

My hospital bag is packed and so is baby’s. My shower is next weekend and then after that I’ll buy anything that I still need.

How are you doing pupp? I hope you’re feeling a bit better now? It’s rubbish feeling sick and then being pregnant too.

No tears, cuts or grazes I was really surprised considering how quick he arrived.

It’s awful at the end of the day when you ache- mine was always my hips that ached you don’t realise you’re doing too much until it comes to evening time.
The sleepless nights won’t improve once baby is here. We’re not managing much sleep the last few nights Myles has been awake for most of it. Not crying just not wanting to sleep and wanting to feed a lot!!
