*** September & October 2019 Mummies ***

I’m really struggling with the aches and pains now! My ankles have been swollen for nearly a week. Yesterday my back hurt so much it still hurt lying down! I’m certainly getting more tired and out of breath keeping up the same level of activity during the day. Looks like my body is telling me to slow down, which will be hard given how busy this month is for me!

I guess this is all downhill from now? :|

In other news, I start my antenatal class today - so hoping that it’s good! Tomorrow we finally decorate the nursery :D x

Hiya,

Can I be added to the group please, 28 weeks atm, due 27th October having a girl <3 time is really starting to drag now. So desperate to meet my little lady.

Pupperino I’ve been doing a pregnancy yoga class started it around 30 weeks. I can’t say yoga is for me but some of the stretches have really helped my lower back/ hips. And I’ve constantly got my ice pack or hot water bottle on my back.

I’ve got a maternity photo shoot tomorrow eek hoping the rain stops because we’re doing it in the woods near my house! I’ve been worrying about what to wear because I just want something casual but want to feel good and show off the bump too. The photographer also recommended to take some props but not sure what to take... any ideas?? (I’ve got the scan photo and a tiny blue vest)

Welcome! Wow, another girl for October! <3 ... I’m probably the opposite to you, time is going so fast and I am not ready for it yet! :D ... is this your first?

Thanks for the tips! I did yoga and prenatal indoor aqua classes during second tri which was very helpful. I couldn’t sign up for another batch of classes in third tri because I am just to busy this month! But I should do some yoga at home and swim for a bit! :)

Aw that’s so nice! Fingers crossed the rain stops for you! Does the photographer not have their own stuff? I know of a few mat shoots being done and the photographer has had their own clothes selection and props too!

Have you got little booties? Or bubs first soft toy? I think the bump is the best prop of all <3 enjoy!!

Thanks Yes, this is my first, so excited. Really don't feel prepared though mentally I feel good but still have so much to buy, saying that she has more clothes than I do I think Haha

Have my 28 week midwife next week so hoping to be measured to see how that's going.

As nice, first for me too :) .. I’m going antenatal classes at the moment and just had a nice confronting realisation of the labour to come  haha.

I was lucky enough to bring home a car boot full of baby clothes and stuff from my SIL! So I don’t really need too much which is nice :) .. I’m decorating our nursery today! Finally! :cheer:

Decorating nursery is exciting! Ours is more or less finished :)

Thanks for the ideas. I think the photographer may have a few bits of her own but wants us to bring things personal to us. I haven't bothered with shoes or booties this time they do not stay on!! Haha. My daughter chose a teddy for the baby so going to take that. I don’t mind a bit of drizzly rain but so long as it doesn’t chuck it down!

Yes defo do some of the exercises at home.

Justjo- you will buy lots and not use it all. I’ve been quite laid back this time with it being my second but it is exciting when it’s your first buying everything x

Hope it went well! So nice for your daughter to choose a teddy for you!

The photo shoot went really well we all enjoyed it a lot more natural than I imagined we didn’t feel awkward. Can’t wait to see the photos now!

Aw that’s lovely! I wonder if I should do something similar too! :)

Hope everyone is feeling well!

I had the *worst* indigestion last night, was up during the night and still feeling a bit of it this morning! Hoping it passes soon and that I can catch up on some sleep tomorrow

Here’s one of my maternity photos. I went for a studio location as didn’t want the weather worry.

Aw that’s lovely mrsP
We braved the weather we were lucky as it had rained most of the week. I thought the outdoor shoot would be more relaxed and I didn’t even actually mind people passing and looking over.
I wanted some photos with it being my last pregnancy, I didn’t have them with my first.

Oh indigestion is the worst! I’ve had a few bad nights sleep over the weekend but seem to be back to sleeping ok again. Had some aches and pains in my round ligament area so bad I couldn’t roll over in bed. Think baby’s getting lower in my pelvis

Just had my 36 week midwife appointment and his head is very low down in my pelvis I thought he must have been low down because of the pains I’ve been getting in my round ligaments and how I’ve developed a waddle.
My midwife was like you just need to make it to next week 37 weeks for your birth centre birth- I’d love another water birth so my legs are crossed until next Monday haha although I don’t feel that he’s coming any time soon

I seem to be quite relaxed about the whole giving birth bit but maybe I'm just in denial Haha

Hope the nursery decorating went well, how exciting

Lovey photo @MrsP513.
Glad your shoot went well @Staceylou27! I would do outdoor as well. We live near the coast so would definitely head down to the beach if we did one :)

Ooh getting close for September mummies! I can’t believe I am 30 weeks today!

Haha denial is great! Going to stay in it for as long as possible :rotfl: ... baby isn’t due in 10 weeks, that’s ridiculous haha.

Yes, decorating went really well! Loved the decals so much, I ended up buying more! We were going to have one feature wall - particularly as the decals are quite expensive! But they were so cute, we just decided to splurge and decorate three walls with them :) i’ll put photos up on my journal when it’s done!

How are you feeling @Justjo89? x

I have officially 15 days left untill due date. I too and not currently worried about the birth.

I fell very much like loads of people go through it daily. People do it more than once so even thou it will hurt and be painful, it can’t be that bad. Lol. Maybe I too am in denial.

Have you had any signs of labour starting?
Ive got 25 days until my due date. I feel really achy in my groin and back and bending forward is really difficult. I’m so tired as well!

Sounds super cute.

I'm feeling really good at the moment. Seem to get abit achey in the evening but that's probably from standing all day at work. 23 shifts left at work till mat leave, not that I'm counting or anything Haha

Had my 28 week midwife appt today, baby is head down which I hope she stays lol and I'm measuring spot on for where I should be :) so all Is well at the moment.

How are you?
