*** September & October 2019 Mummies ***

Congratulations Stacey.

I feel the no sleep pain. Teddy has colic/ trapped wind so wont sleep from approx 12am to 3am. My husband goes back to work tomorrow and although we share the nights and do shift work I feel bad as he can’t nap in the day. Trying Infacol tonight to see if that helps.

Also had some new born photos taken yesterday. I think they are so cute but i know I am prob biased.

Oh my goodness!! What an adorable little one you have! Love his hat!

Thank you!
No tears, cuts or grazes I was really surprised considering how quick he arrived.
I feel really well after the birth a lot better than when I had my daughter
Hope you’re doing ok

Wow, that’s amazing! The body can do some incredible things! I hope I get a similar experience to you - although doubtful haha. Glad you are feeling well x

I’m plodding along - sore and achey, not really sleeping well at night anymore. But otherwise fine :)

Congrats Stacey! Love the name too. Glad he’s finally here hope you have a good recovery.

I’m doing ok, I’ve picked up a cold though so half the stuff I want to get done, I’m not getting done as it’s a head cold so feel so out of it! Hubby and I had the day together yesterday, was really nice but I’m finding now if I stand/walk for too long my back just kills me! It’s also still hot here, which I normally wouldn’t complain about but it’s hard to sleep. I hope baby arrives early and I don’t go over! I just feel so ready now and sick of feeling hot and having rubbish sleeps (I know, I know when baby arrives I’ll still have rubbish sleeps lol). I normally wake at 3am and lie there for two hours awake! Anyways I don’t want to complain too much, as soon she’ll be here. I’m just so ready to meet her and see what she looks like!!

My hospital bag is packed and so is baby’s. My shower is next weekend and then after that I’ll buy anything that I still need.

How are you doing pupp? I hope you’re feeling a bit better now? It’s rubbish feeling sick and then being pregnant too.

Ugh yes, having a cold at this stage is not fun! I just got over mine, feeling so much better thanks! Hope you start to feel better soon!

I’m also struggling with standing, and walking around is usually slow with lots of sit down breaks haha. Hope you get some decent rest soon. I’m fine with the temps so far here, but just impossible to find a good sleeping position anymore. I actually turned over too quickly a few nights ago and pretty sure I strained a muscle on my lower right abdomen - as it’s quite tender and hurts when I twist. Will have to get more pillows in the bed - somehow haha.

Update to say I’ve had my baby boy on 21st September, Joshua weighing 8lb 3oz. I was induced but after 3 gels I was finally ready to have my waters broken. Labour was a doddle, I had an epidural early on and didn’t feel a thing.

My daughter had colic so I know how you feel it’s awful when you can’t help them. We found the ‘monkey in tree’ position for winding really helpful but what works for one doesn’t work for another. We used infacol too
Myles middle name is teddy. My daughter chose it, it’s a great name and I love the photo of him.

Congratulations well done on your labour too sounds like it went well for you

The body is amazing it just knows what to do! Think positive about your birth you never know how it will go!

Hope your babies have arrived safe and well @Staceylou27 and @baby1201!

How are you getting on @xoxo and @Justjo89? Xx

Hi pupperino,

Haven't logged on here for a while so only just caught up

I'm starting to struggle abit now. The aches and pains are in full force. Luckily I've started my maternity leave so I can rest as and when but do find I get bored very easily.
Sleeping is a nightmare, seem to wake up numerous times for the loo lol and baby is always having a wriggle.

So lovely to see others having their babies, makes it all seem a little more real that I'll be doing that soon, starting to get abit nervous I must admit.

How are you?

X

Nice to hear from you. Aw, sorry that the struggles have started! I can totally relate, I have had the worst sleep the last few days :( .. So good that you are on leave now! I was worried about finishing too early and being bored, but I have left it quite late so hopefully I get a bit of time to myself :)

It is getting more real, feeling a bit daunted that it could be go time literally any minute! Eeep!

Oh my goodness, how much have I missed.

Ladies, I am so so sorry. Life with a 15 month old and a full time job at home with horses, with said 15 month old is beyond full on so I've honestly not even had time to think much, let alone join in online.
I am forced now to take a step back as I've been warned of early labour and booked in for my C section on Monday 7th October.

Massive congratulations to the new mummies of the group, how wonderful. Hope Myles and Joshua and Baby P513 are doing well.

It's crazy that it's been this long so I'm sorry that I'm so out of the loop. I am unable to sleep tonight due to a combination of reflux (waiting for the ranitidine to kick in) and the fact that Isabelle (yep, it's a girl) has decided to push right down. I think it's putting pressure on my previous section scar internally as it bloody well hurts. I'll be calling the hospital if it's still this painful in the morning.

I have somehow managed to only gain 13lbs this pregnancy again, so once again, I'll be lighter after having her than I was when I conceived. Who knew having babies could be a weight loss plan for some? Must just be the amount I do with the horses whilst lugging a big bump around.

Anyway, I have thought of you guys often, just not had chance to log in. I will do my very best to rectify that going forward.

I do not believe I will make it to the 7th October. I always had a feeling Kieran would come early and he did...my waters broke 6 hours before I was due my elective c section. This time, I'm sure Isabelle will make a move before the 7th. Feel great in myself, aside from this current pain so will finish cleaning the bedroom and getting the crib set up as Dan has a day off tomorrow. So much to do, but being a second baby, I am way too relaxed about it all, lol.

Anyway, hope you're all feeling okay and doing well.

Xxx

Nice to hear from you GG!

Aw it's totally understandable that you have lots going on!

Congrats on the little girl!! That's so excting :) ... Gosh we had all boys for September and now all girls for October in this group! Haha.

Hope the reflux and pain eases for you and that you get some sleep! Looking forward to the first October baby! Hope everything goes smoothly for you, nice to be relaxed second time round! x

I've mostly been well, few aches and pains and having trouble sleeping so feeling tired most of the time! I'm reverting back to going to bed around 8pm just like first trimester haha.

I have, many times considered going to bed when I put Kieran down, but I just can't do it as I will be wide awake at 3am, lol.

Pain is horrendous. Have spoken to hospital triage and have to call them back later. How I'm supposed to look after a toddler like this when Danni's at work, I have no idea. He's home today, so that's good.

How funny with that boy/girl split for the group.

Might take bets now on whether I'll be a September or October mum as this baby does not seem to want to stay put

Sorry the pain is horrible! Hope you can get some relief. Did you end up going to hospital? I have heard that recovery from a second section can be quite tough, so hopefully you can get plenty of support.

Well looks like you'll be the next baby update - so very excited for that! I haven't heard from @bonjourkatie in a long time, so she might have had her little one already!

Welcome back, GG! Aw, another girl for the October group! Hoping your pain got better and that you got to be seen by someone. Let us know how you’re getting on now. Maybe you will have a September baby!

I feel like I’m in the first trimester again! Starting to feel nauseous again when I don’t eat, feeling hungry a lot and so tired in the evenings!

Anyone else?!

Aw no! I’m generally always hungry, so that hasn’t changed haha. I haven’t had any nausea but I am soooooo tired. My fatigue does remind me of tri 1! I’m ready for bed by 7-8pm each night! If only I could sleep right through the night!
