**September 2020 Mummies**

How exciting for another boy Victoria, I was so happy when my 2nd was a boy so my eldest had a brother. It is also lovely to reuse clothes, I've been so sad sorting through the boys clothes and knowing I wont be using them again. It is exciting to be able to buy girls clothes though.

@chattychar1990 haha yeah I think a house full of boys will be challenging!! Constant sports and computer games no doubt. I am already looking forward to the day my husband takes the pair of them out onto the golf course with him to give my head peace haha!!

Hey ladies, had a lovely scan today with wriggly healthy baby. And to my absolute shock, we are having a GIRL!! I’m absolutely amazed. Couldn’t get sex written down either @VictoriaNi so had to tell hubby separately. Told our 4 year old by asking him to read a piece of paper that said “Caleb is going to get a baby sister”.....he’s v excited. Glad I left it this long to tell him as already asking how many days til she comes x

Woohoo congrats Jenny. The girls have definitely outweighed the boys. How cute that your little boy is so excited already <3 xx

Eeeeek so many girls! Congratulations to everyone who has just found out the gender! Is that everyone that’s active found out now?

TTC I had a spinal block when I had the forceps in case they needed to section me if it didn’t work so I didn’t feel a thing so have no worry of them being used. My daughter did get a mark down her face but within two days it was gone. I think my prolapse probably started with my second child, things were definitely starting to not be right down there but it was definitely the third that finished me off. No idea what it will be like to give birth with it this time. They have said that I can look into having something done about it after this birth if I don’t plan on having any more children. Although I’m not convinced there really is much they can do.

Congratulations girls. So exciting to hear about your scans and a boy and girl to add into our mix.

I'm feeling energised today and like I want to get stuff done, but unfortunately my arm is really aching from the whooping cough vaccine, so that might hamper me. Finally got DH to raise the cotbed so I've put a load of boxes of DDs of clothes under it for storage. Feel bad that the new baby is going into the old nursery. Might get a new rug just so something feels a bit different

Hey everyone! Scan went great , everything looking healthy and well with baby! Measuring right on track, estimated due date 24th Sept, so just a day ahead of what we already had! Unfortunately the lady said she wasn't allowed to write gender down in an envelope for me which was disappointing as my husband and I wanted to read it together, so she had to tell me during scan and as predicted it is a BOY! I just knew it, I was 100% sure it would be a boy so I am well and truly outnumbered in my house now hehe. I am delighted as it will be great for my boy to have a brother. Also saves us a fortune as we don't need to change baby room or buy many new clothes/toys etc! Really excited to start getting everything organised now! Xx

Congratulations Victoria on the blue bump. Shame she couldn't write down for you but least yous know. Glad baby is growing healthy. X

Ahh Congratulations on baby girl jenny. Lovely news. Haha my daughter is like that too- how many weeks left she always asks

Rose I'm the same. Im wondering how my bits will cope with this birth. My prolapse is so much better from when it happened. But really afraid going backwards. I need to take my kegel exercises more seriously. Might actually look into those weighted things to help me out. Any of uz have them.

Kanga lovely bump growing <3

Amy my arm was same for about 2days.

I'm not doing baby room up. As baby will be with for a year. All the baby furniture is in guest room so I might just move it into my room for time being.

Awww Jenny another girlie for our group. I find it funny how one gender seems to jump ahead in certain months. When I was due in Sept 14 it was 23 boys, 10 girls lol

I worry about my prolapse after having another baby too, it feels awful now so who knows what will happen after another labour. I’ve been told I could have surgery once I’m done having babies too, and I feel it is worse than it was when I saw the doctors 3ish years ago. I need to do my kegels too, I have heard the weights are good. Even with doing them regularly they say you would notice a difference for 3 months and I just don’t have the motivation to keep it up for that long lol

I will be doing babies room, but only mainly so I have somewhere to put all the baby things. I won’t be redecorating or anything though.

@AmyThomas i had to laugh at your comment about waiting a few weeks to get hubby to do some little jobs. I have been waiting since Christmas was over for hubby to put the Christmas decorations back in the loft, I ended up struggling and doing it myself last Thursday.

I’ve been making a list of baby things, I have 3 lists - have (so is in the baby’s room), to find (in the loft hopefully) and to buy. It’s made me feel a bit more organised, although the to find list is still quite long!

So I’ve been back into the loft and managed to narrow down my need to find list to just 2 things - breast pump and breastfeeding pillow. There is still plenty of things I have left in the loft til later, but they are all in a pile where I know where they are. So annoyed I haven’t found the 2 things left on the list as I don’t want to have to buy another breast pump. I do still need to get rid of all the boys clothes and bits but that can wait til things are more settled refer the lockdown and stuff.

So I couldn’t rest so I went back up into the loft and I found my breastfeeding pillow and breast pump along with 4 brand new sealed bottles! I’m sure I’m going to hurt later! Having fun washing everything and putting it away in the baby’s room.

Hope you're not hurting now but excellent news on finding the breast pump kanga. Those things can be damn expensive.

DH keeps saying 'we don't need to shop, we've for all the baby stuff'. Ummmm, new mattresses, new muslins, new bottles/ probably just teats as we have loads of bottles, new bonds and dummies. And we need some new blankets as DD is attached to all of hers. Don't want her thinking she is losing everything to the baby.

Damn arm definitely hurts more day after the jab. Hopefully only one more day to go till it starts improving. Every time I move it and then complain DD asks how I've hurt it and the gives it a kiss. Sweet <3

Hey ladies.
Need your advice - I have an anterior placenta but it’s high so I have been feeling baby kick and prod very low down. Since yesterday it has been massively reduced. I felt her but not as much as I have been the last few weeks. Then I thought I’ll call the midwife to check, then she will kick. But they are definitely reduced from what I normally have been feeling. I normally feel her every morning in bed when drinking my cuppa tea and I haven’t yet this morning. Shall I call? Just to see if they can check her. I am sure everything is fine but I don’t want to chance anything xx

Some days I def think baby is quieter than usual.. like I'd have to be sitting to notice.
I think it can be normal and patterns to be monitored from 24 weeks.
But if ever in doubt call your MW or assessment unit. Always better to be safe than sorry x

Thanks hun that’s reassuring that you feel baby is quiet some days to. I did end up calling and I spoke to a really lovely midwife. She asked me loads of questions and because I am still only 23 weeks she said a pattern wouldn’t have formed yet. Said it could be that she has moved position, she said I can pop down there to check on her instead of sitting at home worrying but I said I’ll give it today to see how she goes. Xx
