*SEPTEMBER 2019 - TESTING THREAD*

@Sjf0709 - I have been waiting for an appointment to come through the post and nothing so I called my consultants secretary, (who was a miserable rude bitch) explained to her that we are waiting for results and she come back with ‘well when is your follow up appointment’...... obviously got my back up and told her I haven’t got one and have been expecting it through the post for the last 3 weeks. That made her even more rude and she booked us in over the phone for the 8th October. So I gotta wait even longer. It’s killing me
I was really positive about the NHS since our first ever appointment with our doctor but now I just feel let down and just another number.
My mum seems to think we could go to our doctors and they will have our results rather than wait until the 8th? X

Aw no! You’ve had a really positive experience up until now too. Maybe you just got the secretary on a bad day? I suppose you could get your OH to phone up the doctors and ask if they have the results? If they do then you could get an appointment sooner but it’s the fertility specialist you really need to see and seeing a GP (who half the time seem quite clueless about fertility issues) might stress you out more and leave you with more unanswered questions in the meantime...

It seems like you have unfortunately slipped through the net with getting this far without an appointment unfortunately. I can’t imagine how frustrated you must feel!

I’m still waiting on af. Took a test yesterday it looked a bit positive. Took one today it’s negative.

Go into your appointment knowing you might need to go back for repeats then hun. When I went for my day 21’s 1st time around my results come back to say I wasn’t ovulating. Obviously I was panicking like crazy and it turns out I went like 9 days after ovulation instead of 7 so it came back inaccurate results. Hopefully you don’t have to go back for a 2nd attempt but just giving you the heads up just incase xx

Hey Hun, this is what just happened to me! I have an 11 day LP and had the blood drawn when I was 10dpo and progesterone was low, doing it again this month and trying to get it done at 4dpo so it’s a week before I’m due. Xx

I see a line too! How long after the test did you take the pic? Is it grey in real life or pinky? I inverted your pic and can see a definite line.

Thanks @babylove2016 I can see it definitely there. It’s all so odd getting a big negative this morning. I don’t get 30 day cycles. Think my body is playing with me lol hateful!! Xx

Awww so sorry liz was sure they were positive. Maybe a chemical pregnancy? Yeah I was lucky last time the month I tried ovulation cheapie sticks I found out I ovulate 2 days after than thought i did and got my bfp so hoping if unlucky this month then will try them for next few months and hope to get again. Xxx
