*~*~* September 2015 Mummies *~*~*

3ish, I'll try this now but I never usually feel her in the mornings x

Still worth going I reckon, even just because of yesterday afternoon/evening. Fx she gets wiggling for you. X

Kelly I would definitely ask to get checked out, all probably fine but if you not felt baby in that long they would advise you to go in for a trace. Keep us posted x

Gilly glad the pain has stopped for you, pains are irritating when they go nowhere. Not too long to go until Wednesday for you anyway :) I didn't really get much ball time, my daughter wouldn't stop playing with it so I gave up and then she had a bad night and was a nightmare going to bed, sat down at 9 in the end and couldn't be bothered lol. Will try again today when she goes for naps :D x

Has anyone actually started on the raspberry leaf yet? X

Aww symptom spotting is both fun and a nightmare - and we thought the 'two week wait' was bad haha'
Hope you've had a little wiggle now Kelly? I'd go in if you've not felt anything after breakfast.
- (I had my whooping cough jab at 30 weeks)

H - get a second opinion if I were you, my midwife has made a few errors in judgement throughout my pregnancy and doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence. My GP referred me and the GTT test came back borderline (do you know your actual numbers?) if there's glucose in my urine on Wednesday I've got to go back and repeat it next week as well (this was from diabetes midwife at hospital - my midwife doesn't even know I've had the first one yet!) It's a pretty gross and annoying test I know, but if our baby's are big it's better they know about it and avoid labour complications/going overdue.

We had our first antenatal class last night (not NCT - just the regular NHS midwife led ones) she was nice and it was good to chat to some other mums in person - though they were all 31/32 weeks and I'm 36!!! The midwife laughed and said 'well if you're not at the last session we know why!'

Anyone else doing a private Strep B test? I got loads of emails about it from 'mum & baby companies' though my midwife told me it was a waste of money ... Didn't like to say I'd already ordered my kit ... Anyway it arrived - the swabs seem simple enough - though got to do one vaginal and one rectal 'DIY' style Eeek  I'm fine with all sorts of tests but doing it on myself I'm a bit squeamish! Ha

Xxx

Thanks ladies. Still quiet. I'm going to try poking her bum a few times lol

I was meant to buy some. Forgot! :(

Thanks Summer, think I will chase it up if I don't hear from her by Monday as I would rather know if there is an issue. Like you say if baby huge an induction is safest but when I said that to my midwife she said they won't do anything for me. I asked her roughly how much babies put on weight wise now as heard it reduces towards end and she didn't know and actually said oh I thought they put on more at the end lol doh! X

Your mw sounds nuts H!! What does she know?!!
I definitely think you're going to have to chase it up!
Just worked out the last possible date the girls could come is 19 days away, that's cheered me up no end ha!

Ohhhh 19 days that is super close! Have you got everything sorted for their arrival? :D

I know Gilly, she is worst midwife ever lol. OH doesn't get why her lack of knowledge worries me either. You should not know more than your midwife about pregnancy and child birth lol x

Exactly, you're meant to go to them for advice! My mw is lovely but the one last time was awful, really dismissive about everything, said I wasn't leaking fluid - I was. She did my bloods the other day as mine wasn't working but didn't take my BP or listen to the babies, when I went to hospital that evening for reduced movement, the mw there couldn't believe she hadn't tested anything considering they thought it might be OC.
I think we're ready. Nursery still needs the cotbeds building but they won't be in that straight away. Got to build the crib for our room but I think that will be done this weekend. X

Morning ladies !

H I would go in for peace of mind, triage would say the same. Hope she starts wriggling for you soon.

I had a fall last night, stayed at my mums got up for the toilet and misjudged where the light switch was so ended up with me falling and hitting my head and elbow. Luckily bump was well protected seems my head took the brunt of the fall haha! Such a donut. Hardly slept either think it was with being away from home.

Our pram (that we paid for months ago) was meant to be in the shop on Wednesday and still no phone call. When I called Tuesday (OH was excited and wanted to pick it up early) the girl on the phone didn't have a clue and said it should be on this week. With me being 36 weeks tomorrow it's making me anxious as I really wanted it , need the car seat and changing bag for hospital anyway! xxxxx

Not great that your midwife was rubbish too but nice to know it is not just me if you know what I mean! Sounds like you are at same stage as me ready wise then :) I just need to get my Milton steriliser out and give that a good scrub too as been in a cupboard for a while and need to at up my perfect prep machine in next couple of weeks then it will feel very real! :D x

Ouch bunny! Hope you don't have too many bruises hun. Where did you buy pram from? That would make me anxious too! X

Massive store by ours called the baby store Warrington, it's really annoyed me as well to be honest as the girl didn't have a clue.

Nope just a small bruise on my arm and forehead ! Such a muppet.

I'm going to start raspberry leaf tea this weekend also :) xx

Ahhhhhh that's reminded me H, need to get our Perfect Prep out too. Need to order a new filter for it. Cheers for the reminder!!
Oh Bunny! Bless you! X

No probs!

Sat on the ball now - should I be bouncing or rocking? Baby is head down but still above pelvis at mo so x

Are you trying to get baby more engaged? I think last time they told me to do circles with my hips to bring him down further. X

Eek 19 days is really not long as the longest day away!

Baby started moving and won't stop! She was so quiet now is making up for it for sure!

I'm so so hungry today, already ate 4 crumpets for breakfast and ready for lunch already x

Glad baby is on the move, Kelly. :)
I'm starving all the time but trying not to snack all the time! I'm short so I'll start looking like a weeble soon!
Otto refused his nap this morning but played in his cot for 1hr so at least got down housework done. I'm planning to make him a big, yummy lunch so he falls in to a sleep coma this afternoon haha! I want to shower and paint my nails etc, try to ignore the pile of ironing. Xx
