*~*~* September 2015 Mummies *~*~*

Sounds like the perfect child, Kelly!!! :)
Hospital has just rang and my bloods are within normal levels, which is a relief. They want me back in for monitoring this afternoon if I've not felt 10 movements by 2pm, they want me in daily if the reduced movement I've been feeling doesn't increase, not re scanning me now, just leaving it at next Wednesday. I'm on two kicks/movements already so well on my way!
Is it hot and muggy for everyone else?! I feel like I'm melting! X

Good news about bloods. Bit of a pain going in daily if you end up having to but better to be looked after eh :)

I have my big thick dressing gown on today! X

Haha Kelly - sounds perfect. I had a dream a couple of nights ago (not a labour dream) just had my baby at home but kept putting it down and forgetting where I put it - you know like a biro or something?!

Good news about bloods Gilly, glad they're keeping such a good eye on you :)
Yea it is quite muggy - I'm not too bad in the day but find nights really uncomfortable even with window wide open and fan blasting

Xxx

I just must be the hottest person in the world!! Just done some housework and now I'm melting. Going to have a shower then lie in front of the fan!!!
Otto stayed at my parents last night as we were at the hospital, not picking him up until this afternoon so think I may try a nap! Only been up since 7 though so it might be a bit optimistic. X

Glad he results were ok hun hoping u get lots of movements so u don't have to go in.

I dreamt I had a little girl to n she was really ugly looking but I didn't care n I kept putting her down somewhere n then forgetting where she was really freaked me out!!

It's cloudy n muggy here but think the sun is trying to cum out.

I've been cleaning n baking some homemade granola.

Gilly that's great news about the bloods! Fingers crossed you get the 10 movements today too so that you don't have to go back in.

Ohhhh removal cream I never thought of that one may have to give it a shot! Too scared to get waxed which seems daft seen as I'm going to have to give birth haha.

Kelly what a dream! Baby sounds perfect! Is that another pregnancy symptom is it baby dreams? I woke up screaming last night, gave OH the scare of his life and I was sobbing. Had a horrible horrible dream , had to wake OH up to take me the toilet in the night o was still scared.

Start my hypnobirthing tonight, first session is at 5-7 really excited and intrigued x x x

Screw waxing when pregnant, I did it last time as I always got waxed....it was worse than childbirth!!!!!! :D x

So in light of us looking at a hospital stay with the girls, hubby and I were talking and are toying with the idea of hubby taking a holiday for the section date and then not taking paternity until I come home from hospital. The idea that we don't 'waste' any of his 2 weeks. If he goes to work, I will have the midwives to help me with the twins and my parents will come in and visit with Otto. Then Mark can go to my parents after work, do the bedtime routine with Otto, then come and see me. That way Otto gets a bit of normality and sees us both. Otherwise Mark is just going to be sat around in hospital during the day. He isn't allowed to stay, we know that from last time. And I will want to sleep when the girls sleep, not great company. I know it's not necessarily conventional but I honestly feel his paternity would be better spent getting us in to the routine once home.
Any thoughts? Xx

My thoughts are whatever works for you as a family is best, to me it sounds perfect! xxxx

To me it sounds a very logical way to do it n wud defo b something I would consider if I was having a long spell in hospital. I'm being induced again as u all know n we have said hubby can go overnight to his patents n sleep as that's where Harry will b n will get to do the morning bit with him. Hoping it will o my b one or two nights but anything to make it easier fir Harry.

I think that's a good idea Gilly, at least you'll get the support at home when it's most needed and keeps Otto in a bit of a routine until his baby sisters are home then you'll have all that 2 weeks for the 5 of you to bond as a family together x

I think it's a good idea Gilly - especially with Otto to think of. Like you say you'll have plenty of help in the hospital but you'll probably be grateful to have hubby in those first couple of weeks at home.

Thanks for the input. The more I think about it the more it makes sense. :)
Had plenty of movements today and I've been out and got some protein rich, healthy foods so hopefully I can minimise the stay and get the girls fattened up a bit! Xx

Sounds good Gilly! Good luck fattening them up :-D

I'm getting fatter. Another comment today from a stranger today telling me u wouldn't last until due date! (I will probably Go past due date now) these people shouldn't get my hopes up.

I am so so so tired!!! May have to go have a nap, off out for dinner tonight with some friends x

That's brilliant Gilly! Let's hope these little ladies put some chunk on :)

I'm just waiting for OH then off to our hypnobirthing session! Excited and nervous as don't know what to expect.

Went to Matalan today to get the last bits for my hospital bag (nighties etc) and they don't do maternity in store! How annoying. So I just got some large ones so I didn't feel my trip was a waste, OH's little brother met me and bought me some dinner and little miss a top so wasn't such a wasted day after all xxxx

Glad you enjoyed your hypnobirthing classes Bunny! I was too late and all the ones near me were fully booked - might get a cd though.

Anyone else's braxton hicks ramped up recently? I've had odd tightenings for weeks but just the past few days they've gotten a lot stronger and more frequent. I know when ones coming because I get a dull ache in my lower back and lower bump. Not massively painful but enough that I just have to stand or sit really still until it passes. Someone described it as like your uterus shrink wrapping your baby and that's exactly what it feels and looks like!! You can literally see my bump moulding around the baby and going rock solid ... This is normal right?

Awww summer it was brilliant and I'm so glad how much my OH took to it too, most of the men in their didn't look too impressed. So glad we went. OH has taken the day off tomorrow too to go the lakes and see his sister and the girls who are holidaying there.

Sounds like your body is getting ready summer! Xxxxx

Really pleased you enjoyed your hypnobirthing Bunny, my friend did it and had such a positive labour experience. I'm ashamed to say I think Mark and I were too immature to keep it up, every time we had to breathe into the vagina, we lost it. Very silly I know!
I know what you mean Summer, I see limbs etc now but my bump is hard, everywhere I touch is baby!!

x

Haha Gilly we haven't had to do that yet! I'll keep you posted with the vagina breathing !!!

All my bump is hard too - must be all baby! xxxx
