*~*~* September 2015 Mummies *~*~*

Willow is lovely, personally I prefer it to Florence but Florence is also very pretty.
I love the more unusual names!
It's funny you say you have wavered as I have about one of our names, totally ruled it out and chose something else now. X

Oh really gilly? I loved your name choices, and love the name otto. And love ruby for that fact, but a friends little girl has that name! Throw some more choices at me! X

The whole talc thing is a bit OTT isn't it? I understand that they shouldn't breathe it in but surely that means you just need to be sensible and not just smother them and chuck it all over them!
We don't use it because we just got in the habit of not using it. X

Yeah, I think it probably came about due to people being excessive with it as obviously if anyone breaths in loads of talc they will have a problem regardless of being a baby or an adult. It was a god send for me as daughter was a bit of a chubby baby and used to get horrendous dribble rash in her neck creases so always washed it, dried it and rubbed talc whenever it got sore and it always helped :) x

You lot have been busy today! I've got 30+ posts to catch up on!! Might have to wait until tomorrow as only just got home and left at 7.30 this morning. So so tired!! X

I love Amelia - Amelia Honey sounds really pretty x

We have used talc when we had some in, especially on Otto's secret neck crease! We just don't buy it any more, I was just careful I didn't chuck it on him!

Tessa - We are sticking with Merrin (Elizabeth) and are having Indie (Francesca) instead of Thea. I just think Merrin and Indie sounds prettier than Merrin and Thea.

What other names did you like alongside Florence? I'll suggest some names gladly, kind of miss the looking since we've been set on names! Xx

I liked:
Amelie
Coralie
Ottilie (couldn't have this was obvious reasons!)
Elodie
CiCi
Ophelia (everyone said no to this! But I think it's pretty!)

Oh Gilly I love the name Indie, so pretty! x

Thanks, I really love it now. Hubby ruled it out a bit ago but he's been otherwise convinced now as it does work better with Merrin. X

Oh Indie is lovely, really pretty choice!

Names I like but we can't use (mainly cause oh is stupid!) are violet, summer, autumn, tabitha, primrose. Does that give some idea? Xx

Tabitha is lovely! I really like it and think it sounds lovely with Belle and Esme.
I liked Primrose and Violet too but hubby vetoed them because of The Hunger Games and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!!
Willow and Tabitha are my faves from your list. Xx

I adore willow that's still on our list (along with about 100 other names haha), I love Florence too tho because it's unusual and so pretty! I love Violet said that to OH tonight when a lady on a program we were watching had that name.

Awwww really Gilly, were still between Indi and Ella as our top two , but like I said above we have so many were just waiting to see what fits when she's here.

I love Orla but my friends little girl is called Orla!!

Some fab names here ladies xxxx

Thanks ladies, defo on the right tracks! Just not sure any are quite right yet... Would really like things narrowed down to 2 or 3 for when she is born. Ugh it's hard! X

I loved Sophia ! Before I was pregnant that was 100% our baby's name! Gorgeous name.

Ladies when in labor what do you wear to go in to the hospital? Xxx

I just wore leggings and a loose top hun as wanted to be comfortable x

Thanks bunny! Last time I wore in leggings vest top and a cardi. I think anything goes! X

Aww I love Willow. Our top 3 for a girl were: Evangeline, Willow and Ruby.
Tabitha is lovely - she was the beautiful little daughter on that old TV programme bewitched :)
(though I named my cat Tabitha so couldn't use it myself)
I love Sophia - I knew a Sophia at school but to be honest I've not heard it on any little girls / babies recently. Or similar but more unusual - How about Saffron (Saffy for short) heard it on a TV programme years ago and always quite liked it.
Xxx
