*~*~* September 2015 Mummies *~*~*

Summer I can feel pressure in my bum too, loads last night. I have just put it down to baby moving further down and the position she is lying in. never felt it until the pushing stage with Belle but that is a who different pressure altogether.... Like your bum might just explode open! Am sure this is fine xx

Hahahaha bum exploding open, that made me laugh but only because it is so true haha!

It is no wonder so many of us do a number 2 during labour - I did twice! haha!

Oh yeah, the funny thing with labour though is that before hand you think it will be embarrasing loads of people looking at your bits and bobs and the thought of pooing the bed is mortifying and then by time you are at pushing stage you are just like whatever!! Well I was anyway lol x

I'm ashamed to say the first thing I said to hubby after they handed me my son was not something soppy or affectionate, it was "did I poo myself?"!

Lol Gilly!

I wish I had been discreet in asking like that but I was so high on the gas and air that I was literally asking everyone in the room very loudly "I have done a poo haven't it? Don't lie to me I can smell it!" hahahaha x

Some hospitals give a pessary to clear out the bottom don't they? I was never allowed one due to asthma! Very odd! x

I'm not sure, I didn't have anything like that but I just wanted to go to the loo loads before the pushing started. I was hooked up to the drip n monitor so had to keep unhooking it when the mw came in hubby wud say she's in the loo again. Think mw was worried I would give birth on the loo n kept saying leave the door unlocked. Lol.

Could you imagine giving birth down a toilet? That would be awful! x

I actually cud if it baby cums any quicker than last time I might think he/she is a poo lol how awful a Mum would I b lol.

my mw said she had to fish a baby out the toilet when she went to a home birth n the lady was only 35 wks n tjougut she needed a poo!! All was ok but the woman had the cheek to stay do I really have to go to hospital n my mw was like er yea ur baby was in the toilet it's cold n is prem I think so lol.

Wow! Bet most midwives have seen some really mad stuff! I have recently changed midwife due to moving, she seems ok but she is a bit of a scatter brain haha x

Haha these poo posts are so funny, I think I'm in denial about pooping myself. Xx

I fell asleep on the toilet! I kept saying I wanted a poo and marched off to the loo. Woke up to hubby banging on the door asking if I was OK. I didn't poo myself but I didn't push for very long at all. I told my mw I needed to push and she kept telling me I didn't as I wasn't in established labour yet (which was why I wasn't allowed an epidural), so I said I must need a poo then and kept going back and forth to the loo. It was only when the mw popped in mid-contraction and saw me doubled over did she check me, that was when I was 9cms. So I reckon one more loo trip and I would have given birth on the loo.

I'm desperate for a water birth but will feel so ashamed if my poo floats past me ! xxxx

Haha bunny! I have thought about that too! X

I think I may need a bump support. Midwife has recommended it, I can't make the physio so maybe that is my best bet.
Gilly, I never even thought about the space that two take up in the house. Our living room struggled with a jumperoo, play mat and bounce chair!
H, the stickers look lovely! I love them!
I wouldn't worry at all about the teeth marks! There may be more in a few years lol x
Bunny, not much longer to go at work now! Although I know how it feels when you asked to leave earlier and stay on to help! :(
Xx

I reckon a floater would freak me out more than doing it in front of the mw!!! :D

Yeah same Gilly!!! I don't know what type of birth too have and it's all because of this poo situation haha!

I think in going to call in sick tomorrow, completely rest and hopefully today was just a bad day. I'll only have 7 shifts if I do that. I can do this!!!! Xxxx
