Glad you are pleased with the nails :)

I'm going to fish out the cotbed in a mo, give it a wash and put it all together then if I am not too tired after I will pop out and get a mattress for it :D

It is second hand cotbed from sister in law - do I just wash it with fairy liquid? x

My Pgp has come back in full force this week. I'm in so much pain and I am so ridiculously tired! :( x

I'm moving house today, the joys haha! Although it was nice to start sorting little bean's things out but the rest of it I can't do much so I'm pretty useless with the house move.

Working tomorrow too :(

33 weeks today can't believe it x x x

I'm looking forward to tomorrow off! I can't afford to have 7 days off sick otherwise I'd be phoning in my sick for my last 7 shifts! Struggling so so much!

Sorry to hear u r struggling so much hun, do u have a bump support?? My best friend is due end of Aug n has been suffering pretty bad with it n had to Physio n they recommend the support belt thing.

Two more days at work weds n Thursday this week n then I'm done too.

I think I'm going to get a bump support, been told they really take the weight off your back.

My dad and stepmum came to see my new house today and both said I look exhausted and need to take it easy. Dad demanded me to finish work now, only 9 shifts tho and I'm no quitter haha x x x

Just catching up...

Kelly, sorry to hear your PGP is back, is there anything the midwife/doctor can do, you shouldn't have to suffer. :(

Hope the move went well Bunny, get some rest now, you don't want to overdo it.

H, is it the cotbed frame you're cleaning? I reckon I'd just use Dettol and water, but then I'm addicted to anti-bacterial stuff and bleach! I love the smell of bleach... :/

Got our new car today, one that will fit all 3 car seats in, it's such a bloody grown up car but really pleased with the amount of room it has. Just stuck our Urbo 2 on ebay, only had it since October and it's barely been used, not a mark on it apart from the tyres obviously, hopefully we will get a decent price on it and can put that towards the Bugaboo.

Having lots of aches and pains, couple of contraction like cramps but could just as easily be growing pains I think. I remember all this symptom spotting last time, almost drove myself nuts. I'm the opposite this time, if I go naturally I reckon I won't realise for a bit. Hubby is watching some rubbish Dracula film so I'm putting together a shopping list of stuff we don't have yet for the twins, really want a couple of baby beanbags this time, bouncers and swings will take up too much room with two I think.

Hope everyone is having a lovely evening. xx

Well got all the wall stickers up in the kids room today, took a lot longer than I thought it would but it looks great, might get a few more stickers yet but not decided. Rearranged the furniture too so it is a bit more spacious, just need to hang the curtains this week and setup the cotbed and the moses basket - washing all the bits and bobs for it as we speak. Ruby just came home from spending day at my parents and went hyper when she saw all the new stickers in her room, can safely say she is a very happy little girl :D

Will post pictures of whole room when it is finished but these are the stickers so far....

Hope all you ladies nearing the end of work get as much rest as possible in the interim, I remember how hard it was working towards the end of pregnancy. I have to say bump bands are well worth it - they were the only thing that helped me towards the end of my pregnancy, particularly when at work as I really needed the extra support.

Gilly - I know what you mean about decorating, I been putting it off and putting it off but with all these contractions lately I thought I better hurry up just in case :D I went for fairy liquid and dettol on cotbed frame - you can never be too clean haha!

My only reservation with the cot bed is that it has a few teeth marks on one of the ends. OH's sister gave it us so it is second hand and I would love to get a new one but I can't justify spending loads more money at mo as OH just quit his job and I have already spent a lot of money on clothes, double buggy etc etc. What are everyone's opinions on the teeth marks? Would you sand it down and repaint it or just leave it as it is? OH said I sound up my own ass moaning about it but I am just a bit of a perfectionist :/

I would probably sand it and repaint but is anyone really going to notice? It's not like it's dirty or unhygienic. I would do what you want. You don't need to be apologetic about using second hand things, it has loads of positives for the environment, upcycling is just a trendy name for it and people pay a fortune for that stuff ha! We are reusing loads of my son's stuff and had someone close to us had two cotbed frames, I wouldn't have been turning them down. Watch this video and feel better about not buying more new wood... :D

H the room looks lovely! Bless your little girl getting so excited xx

H the bedroom looks lovely! How cutes your little one getting so excited. Love that.

Yeah I think my body is telling me to rest now. I'm only 33 weeks tho I don't want to have to rest for 7 weeks, I think the majority of the tiredness is coming from the heaviness of my bump so 100% investing in a bump band tomorrow or Monday. I still don't look pregnant from the back so my weight is all on the front! Tiring thing this baby growing, not that I'd have it any other way still feel blessed and so lucky to be growing a baby.

When I first put my Mat leave in my leave date was yesterday, manager asked me to stay an extra two weeks to cover holidays and new starter training, I honestly wish I had so no now. Not just because of the tiredness but our new asm has really wound me up with paperwork and things being a mess texting me tonight saying he thinks he won't be being kept on as its a secondment and his first manager roll, I changed the subject asking how well did we do ok targets and he put 'to be honest I don't care about that I care about my job'. He made the mistakes, I even went in this morning on my day off in the middle of the house move to help him figure it out, I've stayed two weeks early to support the team to ensure we hit target and all get our bonus. So for him to say that pissed me off. I may as well have not stayed then. I replied saying ' Right ok so because you've made a mistake you don't care about everyone else in the store hitting target and getting bonus. Sounds like a team player. Anyway I'm off to sleep see you in the week'. Normally he's on our case about hitting bonus. GRRRR.

Sorry ladies I've been a right moody one this week x x x

I would be annoyed too hun, can't stand selfish people in the workplace x

I just think with the tiredness and all the symptoms I'm getting a bit ratty and taking things to heart more then I usually would. This not sleeping malarkey is getting harder haha xxxx

I know what you mean about taking things to heart more when pregnant bunny but to be honest I think you are well within your rights to feel annoyed. Hope the house move all went smoothly anyway?

Awkward, but ... Is anyone else getting quite a lot of pressure in their bum? I've read ladies getting pressure on their cervix as baby gets lower (which would be expected) but mine is most definitely in my bum! sorry for tmi but it basically makes me need to poop a bit every time I go to the loo. Perhaps he's just lying awkwardly at the moment but feels like he's going to come out the wrong hole at this rate!!

Xxx

I remember pressure in my bum but not till near the end n then it was on n off till birth, then it was horrendous u do have to push down into ur bum feels like doing a big poo with people watching lol!!!

Harry was very restless last night even had to hq've sum calpol so um hoping he is ok bless him think it's just his teeth. Typically he's now still asleep n I'm wide awake thinking of all the stuff I need to get ready for bubs n how I cud b a Mum of two in 6 wks time!!!!
