I'm the same H, just over 2 stone. It is depressing but my plan is to go back to weight watchers which is at my local gym and tie it in with a swim with the little man x

Hope all is going well Michelle. I remember finding it hard to keep up with the forum aswell after my son.

H, last time I weighed I had put on 1st 9. I imagine around 2 St now though and my body is so swollen. X

As bad as it sounds I am glad it is not just me! I know my baby is around 9lb of the weight as he is a big baby and a couple of lbs is fluid/extra blood just a bit gutted about the other stone but shouldn't be surprised as all I have craved is bad stuff all pregnancy! Definitely inspired me to get back on the healthy eating and T25 dvds once baby is born though! x

Hi girls, first pessary went in at 10am my waters are bulging so can be broken if things don't go on there own or with another pessary, but my cervix was very far back. It hurt a lot as my cervix needed moved and with it being sonhigh it was quite unpleasant and I nearly threw up afterwards, but I'll be doing it again at 6 if this doesn't pick up! I'm having contractions now and they're getting stronger. I'm managing with paracetemol and keeping active. Very tired after my bp shot up through the night so bloods and monitoring all through the night. Pre eclampsia is horrible, I've never been so scared for myself and baby as I was last night so pleased induction has started xx

Happy due dates bunny and summer, fingers crossed things are picking back up for you as the day goes on.

Well esmes party was 12-2 and the last people left at 3 30 ~ I mean really that is so much later and clearly we had an end time for a reason?! In laws! Anyway, have left craig entertaining the kids and tidying downstairs while I am in the bath! It was a nice little party and all the kids were really good, esme had a great time and I didn't ruin it with labour which was the main thing! Just looking forward to a more chilled rest of the weekend. Someone remind me next time not to host a kids party at 39+2 x

Glad the party went well Tessa and I know what you mean about end times, Ruby's party overran by 2 hours last year too!

Well I had a nap for an hour or so and was woken up by a contraction, they are barely noticeable just a little bit sore around bottom of bump, only realised what it was when I touched belly and it was rock hard, they been coming and going for 20 mins. Thinking just BH though x

Thanks for the vibes Gilly! After having such a promising start yesterday afternoon/evening, today I have had zip!! Not so much as a BH which I was getting pretty frequently prior to sweep I lost quite a bit of bloody show throughout yesterday evening (first time I've had to wear a pad) then this morning a massive amount all in one go (which I'm guessing was my complete plug?) as I've not even had discharge since then. Is it probably not a good idea to dtd anymore? - I know the plug us the first line of defence against infection and pretty sure mines all gone now ...

That's exciting summer! Fingers crossed this could be pretty much it for you now.

I went to OH's football with mum and really glad I did as we had such a lovely day and wasn't even anxious being away from the hospital - since I've been on the way home I've had lots of pains, not sure what they are not coming regularly but enough to make me have to breathe through them. More plug when went the toilet but don't think I've seen my whole lot just yet. Xxxxx

Bunny I definitely want to join that group if it is ok, sounds fab!

Pains sound promising, it can take a few hours for a proper pattern to develop so don't think they are unimportant as this could well lead to labour. I didn't lose my last of bloody show until few hours before Ruby was born and I had irregular pains for few hours before I got full on contractions that I could time. Will keep everything crossed this is it for you xxx

Summer, sorry you haven't had any further symptoms.

We have left the house warming already. My belly keeps tightening up but not painful so possibly BH! I'm about to scrub the floor once my son is in bed... lol x
