Our TTC Weightloss Thread

Have been quite good not snacking and lost weight, actually really pleased with myself for it :)

Yaaaaaaaay -2lbs for me. Not bad seeing as I scoffed a Chinese last night.

Also AF due any day so feeling crampy and bloaty. Might be an idea to note AF weigh-ins because peeps are more likely to retain water etc that week.

Yay, I weighed in at 60.8 kg today which is just under 9 st 8, but I feel I cheated slightly by not eating anything til this afternoon (now eating muffins my husband has made!) so calling it 9 st 8.5

Pleased with this as I've had a rotten cold all week which means I've eaten more than I wanted and not been able to exercise (double whammy)

A couple more pounds and I'll go down a dress size :)

After an attrocious night last night (we went out for a pizza and two bottles of wine between only the 2 of us  ) I weighed in at -2lb! So thats ok, though I had really hoped it would be more.

I agree, this thread really and truely is motivating x

SF I always get a major bloat with pizza. I bet a bit more comes off in a day or two.

Thanks Ninja - I ate it all without thinking and then I was like "AHHH, what have I just done?!"

We're making wild garlic soup for dinner. Went and picked a load in the woods today. So healthy, and good for you in every way :)

Agree with star fish, well done ladies, we are doing well!! Woohoo!!

Samsgirl, maintaining is still good news, so go girl :) And it could be you're losing inches rather than pounds :)

xx

2lb this week, i'm really not pleased! the gym worked me to the bone for 2 miesly pounds!!! t least i'm down tho!

You have all spurred me on to do better this week.. :) xx

2lbs is a nice steady amount of weightloss :)

Also, might need to work on your diet if you think you are under achieving because exercise is no good alone if you are eating all the calories burned.

Diet is key :)

Samsgirl - i'm sure you'll do much better next week, starting is the hardest part and once you get the ball rolling you'll soon catch up ;)

oh i will...you watch me ;) im really struggling to get my energy levels back up after being pregnant...its like the tiredness has never left me...although i do put it down also to me being a bit down in the dumps too...which the exercise will help with all that too!

Get yourself organised. Get your exercise kit out and ready and then tomorrow when you wake up, force yourself into it and out the door and you'll feel amazing :)

i have to go to work when i wake up...no such luxury of being able to go to the gym or anything before work..lol..xx

Hey ladies, I forgot to weigh in this week but will be weighing in next Saturday. I bought the juicer so have been buying lots of frozen fruit and experimenting with juicing; loving it so far. Thank you Louise for the recommendation of putting nuts in; deffo been feeling fuller for longer.

Going for a run this evening as it's still nice out.

I stayed the same this week too last week, it does spur me on to do better if nothing else!

Run around the block ;)

ha ha....i go far too pink....lol...do all my exercise when i get back from work..especially now i have made a new purchase today....

kinect for the xbox with dance party....what a laugh and oh my god does it make you sweat!!!!

Oh? We have an Xbox. Have you tried a Wii, how does it compare?

Oh wow, kinect, samsgirl that's awesome!! So cool!! Let us know how you get on with it!!

I totally want one of those, but no room in our flat is big enough for it to work properly

Louise - I have had a go on a friend's Wii Fit, it did help kickstart her husband into becoming normal BMI from obese, but I think after the first few months they don't really use it all that often. Some of the coordination tasks I found really hard!! :D
