Green tea is total pond water. And it stains your teeth apparently. I'll be avoiding that.

Just saw this girls and thought Id add. Ive been drinking Green Tea for years and its never stained my teeth. Its great for detox is fantastic for detoxing the system.

Cherry, me & hubby drink green tea all the time too and it doesnt stain our teeth either lol.. hey hows the bump coming along hun x

Blimey, my comment seems to have gained quite a vehement response! I was only passing on what I'd read. I read a long article in the Guardian about how it furs up your insides, and stains your teeth over time much worse that regular tea and coffee, funny but I thought people would be interested :x

I'm personally avoiding it because it tastes like duck poo, but that's a personal preference and not a recommendation! Drink bat pee if it rocks your boat x
 
well i dont think star fish will be worrying about her weight now...

I tried my wedding dress on today.......it fits but still going to lose weight cos it can always be taken in and will just look even better with a few pounds off...xx

I bet you look fabulous in your wedding dress! And dont worry, they can alter right up to the day, keep going hun, you will lose those few pounds and you've got ages xxxxx
 
It does taste a bit like duck poo ha ha with lemon it's not bad though just wanted to reassure folks that my teeth weren't green ;) xx

The thought of you getting fat is all we have to keep us going ;)

On a serious note - not sure about the dieting while pregnent to be honest. I'm subscribed to a pregnancy magazine (it was supposed to have happened by now, ok :roll:) and the latest one came with a little booklet about health and nutrition and things.

It said that you need to be eating 500kcal more per day (i thought it was only 200), 30% more protein from the get go - 100g per day (no liver) and lots of other stuff that made me think that dieting might be quite difficult and even dangerous while pregnant :eh:

That said, my friend was puking so much during pregnancy that she dropped 2 stone and her baby came out healthy enough, if a little bit slender.
 
I know someone who carried on slimming world for her entire pregnancy to avoid gaining too much weight and to help lose it afterwards, worked a dream and perfect baby :) x

:rotfl: you're an evil woman Louise! I've been gorging on chocolate brownies all day!! I dont even like chocolate! It must be hormones, I'm going to be the size of Mr Bump and it wont be the pregnancy!

not going to take too much notice as I wasn't supposed to weigh today but couldn't resist cos my clothes are getting baggier, but just weghed in the buff after a pee and I'm down to 13st 4lb :) stupid thing is all I've done is stuff my face with chocolate, chinese, pizza & pie, battered sausage & chips!
 
Well done doodles probably all the worrying over your poor LO last night xx

JK, you lucky bugger I wish I'd ate like that this week.

Wasn't particularly good but not bad either. I've stayed the same this week. I may forgo the weigh-in tomorrow morning. It's a friends birthday do tonight and were going out for a meal and cocktails. I dread to think what the scales will say tomorrow morning :shock:

Lost 1lb this week :yay: especially pleased seen as it was :witch: week. Woke up this morning feeling incredibly energetic so gonna get on my bike ... soon... ish! Good luck to everyone weighing in this morning!!!

Healthy is good :) It referred to any sugary stuff as empty calories - no cakes, pastries, chocolate and even had a dig at pasta sauces and things for having too much sugar... make sensible choices but eats lots of it ;)
 
You ladies are doing fantastic :D

I weighed in at 10st 13 today, so that's -2lbs, but i'm claiming AF too ;)

I can't believe how well everyone is doing :)

Well done everybody, you're all doing great :yay:

I weighed in again at 60.8 kg today, so that's maintaining from last week (9 st 8).

I'm happy with this as I did no cardio exercise & had 3 trips to the pub last week (so I drank about 10 soda water & limes in total) and a couple of portions of chips as they're the only thing there I can eat!

I am now up to 22 stomach crunches per day (I increase this by one every day) & I plan to dust off my Womens Fitness magazines to find out what other stuff I can include in a home workout.

weighed in at 11 stone 6 today!! thats -4pounds :shock::dance:

i'm thrilled with that seeing as i havn't altered my diet in the slightest just exercise 4 days a week :yay:
