Our TTC Weightloss Thread

Ahhhh! Its wednesday and I have so far failed to do any exercise this week! Gotta get motivated today, but just want to go and sit in the garden when i get home
 
please tell me lemon ladies you're using unwaxed lemons for those drinks or they're going to be very foul!! :shock:

I've cut out all the junk in my diet (normally I don't manage this pre-Easter) and trying to up the exercise. Have started regime where every day I do one more stomach crunch than the day before. Started at 10 per day, now up to 13.

Bra is getting looser so maybe things are working? Why does weight always go from the 'wrong' areas first?!! :lol:

To be honest no one has ever pointed out the difference between a waxed and unwaxed lemon... but it isn't foul anyway. A lemon always tasted like a lemon to me lol :)

I'm not going to tell you what i weighed this morning but i'm so pleased :)

I'm glad you other ladies seem to be on track too, this is such a positive step for us all.

Now that you mention it, my boobs do feel smaller... hubby will be disappointed as he said not boobs or bum weightloss :roll:

Yeah i'll just have diabetes/stroke/heart attack so he can still get a handful lol
 
Glad all is going well for u all! Ive gone down 2 cup sizes since Ive lost weight but hubby does still get enough of a handful!! Lol. Oh that and a great excuse to go gorgeous underwear shopping! Love it!
 
Great initiative!

I'm in!! (I've lost some weight since January already, but not much..) I don't really need to lose weight, but I want to exercise regularly and eat healthy to make my body the best home possible for my future baby! And I guess it will be easier for me too if I'm in better shape!

My goal is to lose about 10-15lbs. I just finished a 3 month program with exercise and stuff, but I was sick fr the last 2,5 weeks. Anyway, in those 3 months I only had refined sugar on 3 occasions, valentines dinner with OH, and two different occasions where we were invited to dinner at friends houses, so I'm really happy about that. But today I'm eating ice cream and cereal and everything since I finished those 3 months yesterday :p

I'll go back to eating healthy tomorrow, but with some wiggle room over easter since we'll be on holiday...

I guess my goal is to loose 10 lbs by hmm... the end of July.

I'm currently between 150 and 154lbs (cd3, so weight has jumped up! will wait 4-5 days to see my "actual weight")
 
to lose the weight I'll be cutting down on carbs so will be having
special k cereal bar for breakfast
jacket potato with tuna, extra light mayo, lemon, mint & salad for lunch OR cous cous, tuna, lemon, mint & salad
& meat with veg for my tea except for the nights when I'm in work (normaly monday & friday) when I share a pork fried rice & curry sauce with hubby (purely because i get free food & apparently it's rude to turn it down) those nights I also dont get home until 10.30/11pm.
I'll also be drinking green tea & lemon pulp with hot water.
Exercise wise I'm going to take my husky x for a long walk on days that I'm not working (so will be exercising 5 days a week), was going to do the wii on days I am working but my darling son has been playing hide and seek with the wii fit disk and so I cant find it x

(oh and I'm going to try and get refered to a gym by my doctor tomorow)

I may have to re-think my plan lol, just picked up the rosemary conelly magazine and the diet in their (lose 5lb in 7days) looks REALLY nice and it's only 1200kcals a day!! x x

Free gym membership? Will they do that? Would save me a couple of hundred smackers :shock:

I know! And they have us thinking that we have to be size 0 to be attractive to the male population lol I've never been told that losing my chunk would make me morre attractive by a guy lol

It's not completley free, theres like a £30/£40 joining fee but then you dont have to pay anything and it lasts about 4months a time (i think, it's been a while since I was on it) and they only use certain gyms, normally the crappier less popular ones but hey it all shifts the lbs :) and as long as I have music and a treadmill I'll be happy

It doesnt come with a shopping list unfortunaley but I'm converting it into one now if you'd like a copy? should be ready by sat morning at the latest (takes so long cos I'm in work tonight & tomorow), mine is for 2 adults and a toddler but I can easily convert it to the numbers you need x x
 
Aw thats sweet of you to offer Doodles, but i'm doing so well with my smoothie diet that i'm going to stick to it for as long as possible.

I might reconsider when i get hungry ;)

I had a really good weight on Thursday, and then today is "Pig Out Friday" so i'm not that optimistic :p

Is a one-off? If not, maybe next week move it to Saturday? :lol: I'm sure tho that one day won't undo all your hard work in the long run... I can't imagine doing a smoothie diet!! :shock: Kudos to your willpower :)

I had a good weigh in this morning so trying to resist the temptation of a piece of tasty toast right now. Think this thread is actually helping!! :D

Just a one off :)

I went crazy :oooo:

I had my morning smoothie (300 kcal), then i had a burger (300 kcal) on a muffin (150 kcal) with a handful of chips (300 kcal) and salad... then i got tipsy on gin (about 300 cal) and then i had 4(!) toast with butter (800 kcal) :wall2:

Days total = 2150 :shock: Jesus christ it's worse than i thought :(

Hopefully i'll need the toilet in the morning before weigh in :oooo:

I hated the thought of liquid meals, but seriously there is so much fruit and nuts in the smoothies that i can be satified from 8am til 2pm before hunger kicks in.

i have had a pants day too...including 2 pints of cider and a vodka a coke tonight....lol...whoops!!! xx
 
well i haven't lost anything....lol....well at least i havent put anything on!!! it has been af week and so i'm putting the no weightloss down to that.....

i do need to be better this coming week...didnt do anywhere near enough exercise...

No gain is certainly better than nothing, i went through a phase where i must have been putting on a couple of lbs per week.

Definately not drinking again though, i don't normally but just fancied a gin - i had the serious munchies :oooo:

I weighed in at 11st 1 today, so 3 lbs down which is nice :)
 
well done my lovely.......i am not drinking for a bit again either........should have stuck to diet coke....lol :) xx
