Hi Srob! I remember you :)

Why would you be intruding? Everyone is welcome and you're even a November mummy.

Glad things are settling down a little. Sleeping through is awesome - well done your LO!

Xxx

I thought I recognised the name Srob. Your not intruding haha...welcome back.

I cringe when I read 37 hour labour! And cry when I read 20 Minutes haha...

Hi srob, you was always on the nov mummies, welcome back :D xx

Glad normality is coming your way x

Anyone having issues at priding their child off nipple today lol i sure am xx

Thanks everyone! Lovely to be welcomed back! My LO had another screaming fit this morning. I wish I had my mum and dad nearby that's for sure!

Hi srob. Good to see you back here.

Struggling to get T off of the boob too today as he will only sleep when he's feeding so he's really cranky and I feel rough as I can't seem to sleep after his 1am feed and to surprise me last night he slept till 5am and I couldn't. Why why can't I sleep. Feel like my eyes are gonna fall out.

Plus I won't see oh at all till 11pm as he's being forced to go to a do. Army is all about enforced fun.

Sorry for being whingey everyone just praying to the sleep gods T has a nice long nap this afternoon.

How is everyone? X

Hello srob welcome back!!! These LOs are so challenging sometimes. I have Ewan as well and he's fab! Often send oh and me off to sleep! :)
Fabby photos Wilson :)

We were at baby sensory this morning on a beach adventure, shame it's not beach weather!

Not seen Sally for a few days?

x

Forgot to say we've gotarthur in for a foto shoot on sat :) xx

Hi ladies, just checking in. Had a busy week last week, we've done baby massage, been to a group where we played and sang songs, went to soft play with a friend and her 18 month old, met for coffee with an old friend and had a sausage sandwich morning with the fam I'm knackered!!
Hope everyone is doing well and LOs are behaving themselves. Cathy's turned into a screamer the past few days I may be going mad but I think I can see a tooth coming through!! Lol xx

A tooth? Already

James has just today discovered his feet... He is fascinated with them and can't leave them alone!

xxxxxx

Sally I know some babies who have had teeth from this age. Good luck to you if C is teething.

Sounds like you have been busy.

We should of started baby massage last week but couldnt go as my dad had taken poorly but will be going this week. Im looking forward to it but also a bit nervous that everyone already met each other at the first one. Xx

Apparently it may not even come through but I can see it under her gum and she has been drooling, rosy cheeks, chewing her fist and of course the awful crying!

The lady came to my house to do the massage one on one so not sure About group xx

My LO found his left ear at 5 weeks old - when we went to the doctors at 7 weeks, the doctors was amazed! He hasn't found his feet though!

Hi everyone, hugs to everyone who's had a bad day :hugs:

J has been so cranky today and refusing to nap. He goes off to sleep fine, but 10 minutes later wakes and cries. I spent 2 hours going up every 10 mins to settle him at lunchtime. He didn't want taking out of the cot, just shushing back to sleep.

I don't know if he's had tummy pain, he's had a lot of wind but he's had several poos and doesn't seem to have any problems with them. I gave him gripe water about 4pm and he seems a bit better now. He actually went down after his bath and bottle in record time, hopefully he will stay down.

We may have to go to Norfolk this weekend. My MIL is unable to travel at the moment and they haven't seen J since he was about 10 days old. I know she's gutted because its her first grandchild and she wanted to come again weeks ago. In a fit of sympathy I told my husband to ask if they wanted us to bring him up, so weather permitting we have to make the pilgrimage. Hopefully we can travel Friday during the day and back Sunday. I'm a bit worried because we've not stayed overnight anywhere before.

Mrswoody, I know you have - was it OK? Has anyone else?

We stayed with LO for 2 weeks over christmas at my folks, it was lovely, but then they made it easy on us by having pretty much everything we needed there.

Happy 2 months to J !!

I've not stayed anywhere hun but I would say preparation is key.

Make a list of all you use in a day and see what you can take with you (it may not be feasable to take a whole crib you see and you may need a travel cot and that could make it harder to settle J, but if you take his bed stuff and toys that may make a travel crib more appealing?)

I am sure it will be fine

Thanks guys.

Nat, yes I thought a list might be in order! We have a travel crib (was given to us second hand) and as J didn't seem to bother about changing to the big cot this week I'm hoping he won't mind it too much.

My main concern is that he tends to be more unsettled around people he doesn't know, especially if they want to hold him a lot. Also it's a 3 hour journey for us without stops. So far J has slept on every journey in his car set though, so it might be Ok. Obviously we'll stop for a while halfway to give him a break from his seat.
