**** November 2012 Mummies **** (everyone welcome)

Yay James! :yay: Did you do anything different?

Well done to Olivia too! Sleeping through already, that's amazing. I wish J would wake up happy, he only ever seems to wake crying.

Nat we have 3 baby gyms! I bought one and forgot about it than mil bought one for Christmas then so did OHs grandparents! We put M on it quite alot just to try encourage her to lift her head when's on her tummy and to stimulate her to look at the different toys, she loves the ones that squeak and the chimes type ones too. James will love it!

Kerrie..yay to O sleeping through!! Long may it continue for you. :)

Pyjama day for us and Ive sorted through all my clothes and I've for a bin bag full to give to charity, I've also ditched all my old bras that I can't fit into anymore! :( some of them are expensive ones as well!!
x

He does indeed love his baby gym

He's now fallen asleep in it

L_a, I have been out every day for the past two weeks or so and this has always coincided with James having a long nap, I assumed it was as he is in the pram, but looks as though that time of day is just 'long nap' time?? It's good to know he will actually have a long nap indoors :)

mrswoody, why don't you sell anything of value on ebay - you may as well try and get a few quid for the expensive bras?

xxxxxxx

Aww he looks cute! Did he drop off on his own?
M has had a nice nap woke up for bum change and a feed and is now napping on my chest! Life of a baby eh!

Do you think people will buy second hand bra that have been worn?
I'm selling the maternity tops I have and some shoes didn't think about the bras! X

If they are expensive bra's and in good condition I reckon you could sell them?

What I wouldn't give to have a nap on someone's chest right now LOL!

So tired it's going to have to be take away pizza for dinner.

Hello Ladies

Not done any thing today lol its very snowey up here so weve stayed in
Ella hasnt been weighd since the 19th of december, how often should they be weighed? I think were a bit lost at the moment as i moved house a few months before i gave birth so the HV was from calderdale but now im in kirklees which is a different HV so no one has come or contacted me?? Might ring my old one and ask her if shes contacted the new one or atleast tell me were to go to get her weighed!!

Wish i could afford a huge pizza lol and some cookies, recently i cant stop eating, iv well and truley got my appetite back.

Ella has started laughing :) she will do it randomly at herself lol.. its soo cute. I cant wait to watch her grow every day! i was saying to OH imagine in 5 year when shes sat with us on the couch watching films with us and telling us about her day at school etc....! Being a mum is the most amazing thing

Nat - what a revelation that he will nap at home! All that walking must have been good for you, but nice to know it's not necessary.

Ruthie - unless you have concerns around feeding, say your LO is not feeding well, I wouldn't worry too much about regular weighing. Perhaps go sometime in the next few weeks?

We've had a lovely day with J. He's napped regularly so he's been a pleasure, playing and smiling loads. He's asleep in his crib now and we're watching Splash - I've never seen it before - hilarious!

I have a few of you on my Facebook now, anyone else on Facebook and wants to friend?

Xxx

I'm not on FB  (had a weird guy I used to work with keep propositioning me so I closed my account!)

James has gone down, I am just waiting to bid on something on Ebay and then I am off to bed :nap: :nap:

Xx

I'm on facebook if anyone wants to add me! Just send me a wee PM :)

I am so jealous of everyone having snow! We had a very light flurry the other day but that is it! I'm pretty sure ever since I moved away from Somerset they've had decent snow every year!

Aela has been absolutely good as gold the last couple of days! She's been happy and settling well and letting OH and I get on with packing up the house for it to be rewired and reheated. Also, I left her for the first proper time today and she was so good for my mum apparently! I went across to Oban with OH to get some paint and so I was away from her for about 5 hours - I hated it! I wanted to turn around and go home after an hour, felt like I'd forgotten something! But it's done now, so hopefully it will begin to get a bit easier if I have to leave her again. Not that I can for a wee while - she drank all the expressed milk I had and I thought there was quite a bit there! Greedy guts!xx

Any body up, my ickle man is up with bad trapped wind :( xx

I hope you got his wind up in the end Wilson?

I use Gripe Water with James and we get loads of burps with each and every feed (I just dunk his dummy in some mid feed)

We had a much better night last night. James slept 8.30pm - 4.30am and then I took him in with me from 5am - 8.30!

I am just about to feed him and we'll try the baby gym again.

It's snowing so looks like another day stuck indoors!

xxxxxxxxx

No hun, we was up all night with chrinic trapped wind, had im on his side in bed with me to sooth him, 3hrs i rubbed him tummy, then he exploded in his nappy all over and leaked onto the bed :( and now its just run out in yellow water, poor ickle might, hes shatterd.

Snowing here too roads r coverd again xx

Poor little Arthur!

Better out than in??

James is now 4 days since his last poo (again!!) I thought stopping the Infacol helped. I'll try and get some water down him today. He's not been taking it the past few days. He 'pretends' to drink it bless him!

xxxxxxxx

have u tried the pooing excersizes?? xx

Yep  and tummy massages and water!

He will go, he always does and he doesn't seem uncomfortable? Some babies just go less so I won't worry unless he is in pain.

It took me ages but I've finally got him to nap! BIL and FIL are coming round for the Arsenal game though so he'll probably be awake quite soon.

xxxxxxxxxx

Poor Arthur :hugs:

James and his elusive poos! Nat, we use gaviscon and infacol and still J doesn't seem to have constipation - I'm quite surprised. You're right not to worry unless he's in pain.

J has been a little star the last couple of days - napping well, which means he is bright and cheerful the rest of the time. We've had lovely smiles and he's started holding small toys if we give them to him. So cute!

He had started waking himself up by startling and hitting the bars of his crib, so we've moved the big cot into the bedroom. He looks tiny in it, but he had a good nap.

Having said yesterday that J always wakes crying, yesterday he greeted me twice with a smile! :)
