We had trouble before James (3 miscarriages, testing at recurrent miscarriage clinic) so I do want to crack on.

However we need to move and I need to be back at work for that to happen!

I want James to be 2 before we even try. Watch me end up preggers within the year

Wilson, sorry to hear about your friend

If we're to have another, which is the plan, it will be soon, because I'm 38 next week

We're going to be NTNP as soon as we start having sex (wanted to wait until after my check which is today). When J is 6 months we'll start targeting ovulation, and the plan is IVF again next new year if we have no success.

Not as scary as it sounds because i would be very surprised if I fall naturally, but since our infertility was never explained it could happen. I've heard so many stories of that.

So much trouble getting j to go down last night, but when he did it was amazing! He didn't wake for his late feed so I took him out and he sucked down all of his bottle asleep - no reflux or anything - I was able to put him straight back down. Then he slept till 3, took another bottle and slept till 6:30 when my husband got up with him shame I was awake for an hour after the 3 am feed for no reason

The only thing I know for sure about the next one is that I would like to try and do it without any pain relief at all. The drugs they gave me during Cathy's birth were absolutely crap and did nothing except slow everything down. I had such an easy labour and birth that its likely to be similar next time (touch wood) so it would be better for me to not have any pain relief I think. I also hated how spaced out they made me feel, I could still feel everything but couldn't communicate it iykwim? It was like being trapped inside my own body, bloody awful xx

Diamorphine was shite! Did no pain relief just made me spiny and vomit!

Took me 3 years to get pregnant so who knows how long it will take me for number two.

I quite liked the diamorphine

I refused an EPI but did need something to take the edge off.

It only lasted for about 10 minutes though? I was on a drip and already 6cm so it was never going to do much!

They were the nicest 10 minutes of my labour

My friend had ivf with her 1st then a couple of years later went to doctors and was told ahe has gallstones - nope she was pregnant naturally! So it can happen xx

I'm using the Ameda Lactaline now, I was using Medela Swing but double expressing is FAR easier imo! Xx

EPIDURAL all the way, i was happy as a kite, got to 4cm on my own and no pain relief for 16hrs and only had epi for 3hrs then turned off however i dilated quicker on epi than natursl as my body wasnt stressed xx

£100 new. You can get them used on eBay as its a closed system and no milk particles can get into the tubing or interior of the pump so you just need to buy new bottles and flanges. I'm planning to sell mine after I'm finished with it and get some money back xx

Yeah Kelly - what you're actually paying for is the pump and it's built in a way that it can't be contaminated by the milk/milk particles. You would buy new bits of the bits that stick on your boobs iykwim but it would still work out cheaper than buying one new.

That's a good pump by the sounds of it Sally I don't express enough to justify the expense and I really couldn't cope with full time expressing, I think that's harder thAn actually bf.

Today the little lady and me went to Baby Sensory class. It was pretty good Madison looked like she was enjoying most of it but got really tired towards the end of the hour. Was nice to meet other mummies too. I did the worse thing possible and asked a little what her little boy was called and he was a she doh!!! I was so embarrassed and felt terrible! The baby had on a red babygrow so I didn't bloomin know! Lol
Anyway, we will probably go again next week id recommend it!

I'm so happy with it I just didn't get on with bf, I realised the other day that although I liked it for bonding, I hated bf lol. So painful for me and the hormones that are supposed to make you relax made me feel like I was severely drugged like I'd been hit over the head, horrible. Not sure if that's normal?

That's hilarious, someone has asked if Cathy was a boy but she was wearing neutral colours. Since then I have made sure she always has something girly on! Lol. Glad you and Madison enjoyed your class, bless her getting tired but she's still so young and it was probably a lot of stimulation for her! What did the class involve? Xx

No I thought that at first but then I remembered hospitals rent them out so must be safe? On saying that the medela swing is not suitable for resale, yet is sold used on ebay all the time, makes me cringe. Someone took theirs apart once and it was covered with mould all over the inside, that's on Google somewhere too! Sorry I'm a total nerd about it but wanted to be 100% certain what was safe xx
