last night was the first night she went down without a massive battle andddd she only woke for one feed :) i sleptfrom 12-6 then 6.15-10 woooo lol

Not getting my hopes up too much but it was nice, i feel so refreshed!

Ooohh u ladies make me jealous, when will be my time to only wake up once lol
Is it cradle cap then on his eyebrows/forehead?? Thats only wheres hes git it not on his head xx

has anyone put there LO in there own room yet? if not at what age are you thinking about doing so?

Happy birthday Sally!!

Anyone 'seen' Nat today? Normally posts on here in a morning?

Kelly I know how you feel. Ive always been slim and never once been bothered about my weight or dieted etc and i know im not even 'fat' now but i just dont feel right. I know its because ive had my beautiful baby and i wouldnt change it for the world but i feel im ready to feel good in clothes again you know? Im not moaning about it and i know its not important but it will be nice to be able to wear what i want an not things that hide my belly all the time. Doesnt help u get comments from MIL which make me feel crap!

L_a i wouldnt want to leave my lo either if i'd of had that conversation. Its annoying when people comment on your parenting skills. I dont pick my lo up at every whimper but i do pick her up if u know its gonna lead to a cry.

Ruthie - O is still in my room and im going to borrow a swinging crib for her from my friend soon so i can keep her with me as she is nearly putgrowing her moses basket. I will be keeping her with me for a while yet. She sleeps so well and has been sleeping through for 2 weeks now. Oh works nights so i am on my on 6 nights a week and i couldnt think of anything worse than her being in a different room. I still have to check she's breathing in the night and she sometimes wimpers and wants her dummy or will cry in her sleep and i dont like the thought that i have to go into the other room to put her dummy in or to find she's still asleep. I dont think i would sleep very well at all.
It works well for some people i know and they have found there lo's sleep better but tbh i couldnt get O to sleep any better than she already is xxx

Evening girls.
Well new routine started today and its 9pm and arthur is bathed,feed/asleep in his basket :)
Hope this routine we can keep up ;) i dont know what tomorrow will bring.

I wont put arthur in his room till 6 months, im pulling his cot into our room tomorrow hopefully, he seems fine in it, had his nap in it today.

Any plans this weekend? Xx

Hey...he may sleep all night too! Wishful thinking?

I'm moving house in April and he will be 4/5 months and I will be putting him in his own room then. I think I could do it now, I seem to wake him sometimes (I'm a sleep talker and thrasher) but I won't, not yet. I like looking at him sleeping. I'm struggling to get m asleep. He wants to talk...

Good luck Wilson :) xx

Oohh u moving anywhere nice kelly? Im just a worrier over cot death, thats why i say 6 month xx

Hey girls!

Not been on in a while, was staying with in laws for a week! Needless to say I'm happy to be back in my own home. FIL gave me a full on cold, sore head, throat, nose and a horrible cough :( So I'm up tonight even tho Lyla is sleeping!

Got her into a nice little routine and she now only wakes up once during the night, she will go down about 11/12 sleep until about half 4 have a feed then down again until half 9/10. Its lovely. Just need to bring the bed times a bit earlier now!

Lyla was weighed on the 17th and was 11lbs 5.5 oz! Shes been following the 75th percentile for weight since she was born and I'm glad its kept up since she has been switched to combi fed. Shes slowly having less and less breast feeds though because my supply is decreasing with the switch but she always has her morning feed with me which is lovely to cuddle up because I get lots of nice smiles in the morning :) and then throughout the day I feed her on the breast if she is hungry then just top up with a few ounces of formula if she hasnt got enough and it seems to be working for us :) She is much more content and settles in her car seat for naps during the day.

Starting in the day nursery next week as I am back to uni full time. I'm dreading it! Know I'm gonna be crying my eyes out. Poor baby! I know its gonna take some getting used to.

Anyway hope all is well and heres some updated pics of my little girl xx

Chloenat she is a wonderful baby (and giving her mummy sleep too) your boobs are going to pop when you go to uni! And your heart :(, I leave m for a day and I pick him up earlier than planned because I want a hug! But it will get easier. Hope your cold goes away pronto.

M slept all night again, went down at 11 (did y for an earlier night but he was too chatty) I can't believe it. I slept so well too that I didn't express, eek.

Wilson I am less of a worrier about cot death now that I put him in his grow bag. But I certainly will be in and out of his room for some time when he does swap rooms as I will be worried.

I'm moving to a village near Plymouth, I want M to grow up outside of the city. We have bought a house near where I grew up so M will be attending the same schools as me :) seems strange. Scary thing is ill have to move us here without hubby. Can't wait though...the biggest thing is being able to leave the pram assembled and leave it in the garage rather than having to fold it And lob it up 3 flights of steps every time I go out. Yipee! X

Chloenat your lo is beautiful. Good luck with nursery xx

Wilson i hope you had a good night with arthur xx

Chloenat - lyla is gorgeous! Your night routine seems similar to ours, except we put him down for the night after the previous bottle at 7pm and the 11/12 feed then becomes a dream feed. We can't get J to sleep so late in the morning though, so maybe you gain there what we use in the evening? If you put lyla to bed earlier she might wake earlier.

I can't imagine having to leave J at a nursery, but I leave him with my mum all the time. Not a whole day yet, but I would. Will you be ale to sneak back and see her at all during the day? Or perhaps that would be worse. Good luck with starting back at uni.

Hi chloenat nice to see u back, i know how it feels to be back home we had a week at the inlaws and it drove us insane lol xx your little girl is stunning, i bet yr dreading uni, i was going to go bk to work pt in april but changed my mind As i cant part 2hrs with him lol but good luck xx

Thanks kerrie, well he went down at 9pm, we was in bed by 9.30 lol, he woke at 1.15am for a feed, then at 4.15, then was very restless with his tummy and wind, so pulled him into bed with us to sooth him and put him back in his basket half hr later and he was up about 7.30 with tummy but didnt feed till 9am, oh tuck him downstairs to let me have a kip.

Hes got hospital appointments mon n tues, bsck to jessops monday for an ecg and to see the dr, then on tues he has to go for a cardiacechogram :( xx

Kelly bet yr so happy for a house instead of a flat, yayy to no more stairs, living by the sea would be lovely :) xx

Well i didnt get my full night last night, el was back to her usual self lol, grumpy and unsettled until about 12 then up twice during the nights for feeds and had to sleep with us for an hour to get her settled!

Last night was so cute though, she was in her basket and i was reading her a book and she was really listening, it was sweet!!

Hope everyones ok, i still dont get this centile thing, which number is the centile on the chart? xx

hi girls,

Good night again for M last night she slept from 11.30 till 8.45!! She only snoozes in the evening so its a battle to get her to stay down so I've decided that around 10.30pm I'll take her upto bed with me and see if I can get her sleeping a little earlier. She's quite happy today just chatting away with her Daddy waiting for the football to start! ha

Chloenat..you little girl is gorgeous and growing so quick! Good Luck with going back to Uni, hopefully once the first week is over with you will get used to leaving LO at nursery. Is this your last year?

kerrie..not seen Nat around all weekend, amybe she is just busy?

ruthie..the centile lines are the ones that curve up the graph iykwim?

I can't bring myself to put M in her own room yet, I just can't bring myself to do it. Her mini cot is right beside my bed and I love waking up to her big blue eyes looking up at me smiling away, I tried to move her cot against the wall and away from the bed but OH and me both didn't like it!

Wilson..good luck with your hospital appointments next week x

kelly..good luck with your move! The worst thing is the packing, it isn't until then you realise how much stuff you have!

Hi ladies,

My lappy died Friday night so I've not been on... I can browse this website from my phone but not post for some reason??

Hope you are all well?

Chloe, Lyla is just perfect!

James has been OK this weekend. Both Friday and Saturday he's had 9 hours but it's been 7.30 - 4.30. He's been pretty much awake from 4.30am so I feel like a zombie!

He went down at 7.30pm again tonight so I expect to be up nice and early tomorrow!

On the upside he's been pooing every day and we've managed to see most of the family this weekend.

So glad to be back online LOL!! I am a proper PF addict!

welcome back nat, great pooing days for james....:dance:

arthurs routine got earlier tonight, was bathed, fed and put down to sleep by 8pm, however i had to go back up to him for ten minutes earlier as he woke. but fast asleep now.
We bought him a new bath chair today as his sponge he has out grown and loves his new chair, think hes going to be a swimmer lol. Started sorting the christening out today, hoping to get the end of march or april :)
Mrs woody what are you doing with M for her to sleep that long? you are bf as well arnt you? are u expressing in to bottles or boobie feeding? wish arthur would go more than 4hrs.

We're back home, we've unpacked the house again and Joe is asleep! Feels like we climbed Everest or something LOL. Weekend was a great success though, Joe slept through all the car journeys and settled well in his travel cot.

Bodes well for the running training week next month, when we stay in a cottage on the coast for a week.

I'm sorry for your loss carnat :( death of a pet leaves a big hole :(

Hello Nat!!! Was starting to wonder where you'd vanished too!! Yay to poop for James! Hope your getting to bed early to make the most of some sleep :)

Wilson..yeah I'm bf from the boobie. M got herself into this routine over Christmas and I've just gone with it. I haven't done anything different, she is mostly awake in the evening feeding away so stocking up for the night? She won't settle time later I've tried bath massage feed bed and she won't go down and if she does its for20mins or so. I know I'm lucky to have a baby who sleeps through so young, the next one is bound to be up all night!

La.. Glad your weekend went well! It feels like an exploration taking a baby away with you!

LOL Kelly, I said my lappy died (as in laptop)

My little Amber [cat] is just fine and dandy!

James had 10 hours sleep last night!! 8pm - 6am! 6am is a bit more respectable than 4.30am so I can live with it.

Got loads of chores today... Need to go to Post Office and then Bank - the two places I hate to go LOL!

We've finally got rid of the snow and it looks like rain all week. Boo hiss

xxxxxxxxxx
