May 2018 Mummies....Tri 2

Tesco and asda wipes I found alot better than the make one. But prefered aldi ones . I just stock pile them when it's the baby events and they usually lasted me until the next one but if not I just picked the packs from tesco or asda.
The babys room won't be ready probably not now until xmas as we will have to delay our extention build as we can't can't a builder to start when we want which I'm gutted about, the "box room" is being made bigger . I wanted the majority of it to be ready before the baby came but that won't be happening now .

Well I just had a warm bath to try and ease my SPD Lane came and shaved my legs I can't reach haha the concentration on his face was funny!
We've got nothing yet except the pram and 210 nappies we ain't buying stuff till in new house now xx

it's recommended to have a new baby in with you for the first 6 months so even though it would be nice to get it done sooner, it should be done just at the right time?

My criteria for wipes is 1)cheap and 2) with a plastic lid that seals, else they all dry out! (which lidls have, so cheap AND sealable....)

i bought "the blanket" on Friday. As in, the one the baby will first be wrapped in and that will be the main special comfort blanket their very own specially-bought one. As with DS's, my daughter picked it out.

I literally feel like my stomach is going to burst today, feels like he baby out on like half a stone overnight! I’ve just turned 25 weeks yesterday, I can’t imagine how I’m going to feel at 9 months...

Yup, I'm starting to feel pressed for breath when I'm moving about. It only gets worse from here guys...ahahaha!

Any ideas on how to get Willow to move? She keeps laying in horrible positions that's putting a lot of pressure on either of my sides she was stuck in the same position most of night and kept me awake as I couldn't lay on either side with out it hurting so had to try and sleep sat up I've tried moving about rubbing my tummy eating and drinking a cold drink but she was clearly comfy so didn't move. Certain parts of the night I found it hard to breath she's moved now as it doesn't hurt as much xx

i dont think you really can. Your baby lies where she wants!

I don't think you can move the baby, you could try standing up or jumping see if you can comfortable then?

So i went to the Lidl baby event today and the nappies /wipes are same as the aldi price but thats only 10p less than usual! Not really the huge savings i anticipated!

A better bargain was the mama tens machine i have got off ebay that came yesterday. The tens machine at the midwife unit was a huge help in my last pregnancy but they dont have one where i will be delivering this time. (it also gave my husband a job to do, pressing the 'boost' button for me at the peak of each contraction, actually made him really useful!)

its a gadget with pads you stick on your lower back and it sends tiny electric shocks which help with back pain. it kind of fuzzes out the pain and is a good distraction from the rest of the pain if you turn it up high! Totally safe in labour. I dont think i could have coped with the pain in my back without it.

Is an epidural not enough? I'm clueless with it been my first I want every thing they give me as I can't cope with any pain even period pain is too much for me so I'm buggered for labour

well this might mean you dont need an epidural! Generally an epidural is seen as a later resort if you cant cope with the pain... ive never had one as not had a hospital birth before......

altho if this birth is as painful as the last i'll be screaming for epidural this time lol

if done correctly epidural should block all pain. You'd be surprised what your body can cope with though. I'm the worst with pain and I had both of mine with only gas and air. My son was 9lbs 11 with shoulder dystocia (his shoulders got stuck) and I wasn't actively using gas and air when he was born and I managed it. Albeit screaming lol.
