I'm not going to book anymore scans, that is probably it for me until baby is here. I won't risk seing the gender then or be tempted lol

Hi ladies,

My baby is due on the 29th of May. Yesterday I found out that I have an anterior placenta (which explained why I couldn't feel the baby moving) and I found out the gender! My first (and probably only) baby is gonna be a boy! So excited! His father doesn't know, but I'm not bothered in sharing this with him as he didn't even ask about his own child (not once).

Anyways, super HAPPY ��

Aw another blue! Congrats! Sorry to hear the father isn’t showing interest at the moment but he may grow up and do more sooner or later xx

Our parents have us money to have a fancy scan for Christmas. Need to book it still! Whilst we are having extra scans we wanted to get one. This is our first and only pregnancy as we won’t get any fertility treatment given we won’t be child free and I will need it as o don’t ovulate naturally (unless pregnancy fixes me). So on that basis we want to one. Luckily we don’t need to cover the cost!

aww it will be a lovely keepsake. How many weeks do you plan to have it at? With my first i had 4d scans at about 27 and 36 weeks i think, my second he was about 30 weeks and looked identical to my daughters scan. He still looks really like her! I wonder if we will get another that looks the same?! There is a place near me that does a 4d scan for £59 which isnt too bad but as neither of us have an income right now its pretty hard to justify it.....my maternity allowance from self employment will count for nothing aswell as any MA i get is taken off the universal credit payment pound for pound, (unlike with tax credits where MA doesnt affect it) which is really unfair when i have paid NIcs voluntarily for the past few years in the event of needing maternity allowance ......still, it is what it is so i'll just have to be patient this time round....!

Oh man serious back ache been up most of night trying to ease it so along with the killer hips groin ass and thighs I now have back ache
On a plus note we are getting out my horrid house if you remember me saying last month about my landlord trying it on- my in laws wanted us out and feared for me and their granddaughter incase he did anything worse next time that they have actually bought us a house in a different area! Worst case scenario is we don't move in till march but the house is already empty and the previous owner had to move in with parents as he lost his job and couldn't afford if any more, the in laws are paying cash for it so we are hoping it's quicker than march but if not least we know we don't have to see my landlord any more, the in laws are going to put a new kitchen and bathroom in and decorate it how we want as the kitchen is abit shit but they will do the work themselves around us (it's what they do as a living they buy houses and do them up to sell and make really good profit) xx

Thankyou Liz we knew they was on about it and we looked at a few houses other week but they kept it quiet till yesterday to say the offer they put in was accepted really can't wait to get out now and all in time for Willow been here xx

hi everyone how are you all?? im in so much pain surrerfing with no sleep mega painful hips and what feels like siatica!!! and we are now living in my partneers parents front lounge while we save to move again. partner starts new job monday so hopefully wont be long either before or after charlie is born.. feel him moving about but not loads but been so busy recently havent been concentrating got a scan tomorrow as he was being naughty at my 20 week scan haha

Wow that's a lot of money are houses more expensive where you live? You can get a 3 bed house with conservatory here for £450 xx

no this was just a 6 bedroom barn conversion pmsl. 3 bed here is approx 550 though xx

Mostly in the June group as that’s where I started but had 20 week scan today and she’s pretty sure it’s a girl!! It was incredibly stubborn like me and wouldn’t move ! Didn’t get much information so assuming it’s all ok..?!

They would have told you to have a re-scan if there was a problem. Congratulations on your little lady x

I'm guna ask a really dumb question now but I've never had it before, when you eat do you feel like your full of wind afterwards I feel like I need to burp to relief the pressure and I can do loads of small burps sometimes I bring sick up but it never goes away till I've had a massive burp, is this a normal pregnancy symptom? Sorry if I sound thick xx

I burp loads after I’ve eaten, I get a lot of acid reflux with it too, it’s all down to your digestive system slowing down because of hormones, I chew on rennie all the time now as it’s safe in pregnancy, it helps a bit but doesn’t stop it completely.
