*March mummies Tri 3!*

Hello ladies, We welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world at 17.19pm last night weighing exactly 8lbs ... My Induction went well & started pretty much as soon as the pessary went in, We have called her Victoria Elizabeth pictures to follow, We were discharged about an hour ago i`am glad to be home X

Congratulations! One more March baby is here. Beautiful name!

Looks like we will have more babies in Feb than March. :)

Congratulations lou! Lovely name, looking forward to seeing pics!

Congratulations! So glad your induction went well. Lovely names too xx

For those who have had babies, did you feel extra pressure in your whoo haa a day or two before you went into labour?
I am pretty sure baby has moved further down as can feel more weight bearing down in my pelvis, especially when walking. Im peeing more too.
Also did your babies move/kick more or less before you went in to labour?xx

No, but I think that is common. And in terms of movement, Adeline was pretty active until fairly late on in labour x

Loveandpeace, my bump dropped a few days before labour. But I did not notice that. My work colleagues told me :)

Felt a bit more pressure down below. My baby was as active as before. Even in labour baby was kicking.

So looks like you are not far from your big day :) x

Sorry to drop ladies in but I've been stalking a little lately from 2nd tri.

Loveandpeace I saw your post there and I just wanted to say it's a myth babies move less before labour. You can feel baby even in labour though most of us are too distracted to notice. So if you're concerned about baby's movements give them a phone xx

Awk thats similar to me Charlotte. Its been on my mind a bit recently. A few friends havent really bothered with me since my Mum died last May and I know I probably havent been as social as I usually am then with being pregnant on top of it all. Oh well.

Hopefully the time flies until 2nd March for you.

You could ring the hospital and find out about the kettle?

Hi there,

I am from the April mummies thread. I hope you don’t mind me dropping by here.

Loveandpeace, I wanted to reach out as my Mum died last May too. And I’m in exactly the same boat as you as far as friends are concerned. I had two what I thought were close friends, who have only been in touch with me once since she died. I’ve reached out to them on many occasions now and have gradually had to accept that for whatever reason, they don’t want to continue our friendship - which hurts a lot and their timing was really crappy!

Is this your first baby? Best of luck. This is my first and my due date is 20th April. Xxx

Congratulations to those March mummies who have had their babies already!

Good to know thanks girls. I am pretty sure baby has been more active than usual yesterday and today. DH says my bump has droped but I dont really notice so much.
Due date is tomorrow so the proper waiting commences! Cant believe it!x

Ooh fingers crossed you’re not wait8ng too long L+P.

I’m fed up, my hips are really hurting now and I’m awake loads in the nighht. Seeing my chiropractor on Wednesday but there’s little he can do to be fair. Still got 4 weeks to wait too :( which feels a lifetime away!

Hope all went well for you Dee! And you ladies are enjoying your babies :)

Hi Miffinski thank you for reaching out & Im so sorry for your loss too. The feelings of grief mixed with pregnancy is so difficult and bittersweet.
Ive really had my eyes opened as to who my real friends are. Those who I didnt expect to reach out as much have been amazing but those who I would have considered very close friends have kept their distance. Its hurtful like you say. Ive been seeing a midwife who specialises in bereavement counselling and she said unfortunately its fairly common for this to happen on times of grief-friendships can fall apart or just simply end/disappear. Its not that I have expected my friends to flock around or make a fuss of me, but some have just blatantly avoided or ignored me.
Congratulations on your pregnancy & I hope you have had good support with everything and taking good care of yourself. Its my first baby too :-). Original due date was 1st March but was moved to 26th Feb at 20 week scan but I stayed in March mummies.
Best of luck to you too and Ill keep an eye out in April Mummies!

Happy due date L&P!! It’s my birthday today so would love my little one to arrive but as only 36+2 it’s probably unlikely.

Talking of needing the loo was up at least 4 times in the night for a wee and also aching everywhere.

Spending the day with my little boy, we were supposed to be at my parents in Devon but decided against driving down as back is aching and don’t fancy the 4 hour drive with just me and my son.

Happy Birthday ST and fellow Pisces! Have a lovely day with your son. Shame you cant get to your parents but its better that you're comfortable!
I had a woeful nights sleep with hip and back aches so Im taking it easy today & not leaving the house unless I get a burst of energy.x

Happy birthday ST and happy due date L and P. I am also a Pisces :-)

Feel your pain ST about getting up so much in the night. I’ve been like that for the last couple of months. Up 5:6 tines. It’s so annoying!

Miffinski am so sorry to hear that you e lost your mum too. I can’t begin to imagine how you must feel. Xx

H I do hope that all your pains go soon xx

Haha also been stalking this thread. (from second tri to.)
My daughter stopped moving before/while in labour, but i went intl hosp to make sure she was ok.

Hope you had a lovely birthday summertime!

Any signs yet l&p? The aches and pains could be a very early sign of something...:)

It's Adeline's due date today...thought we'd be starting the countdown and getting impatient at this point, instead she's 15 days old and feels like it's been forever!

Grown up little girl :)

Charlotte, loopylou, raerae - how are you all getting on?

Oh Merry she’s so beautiful! And her lovely dark hair is just lovely :)

Adeline is a wee doll! Yes her dark hair is just beautiful! Im sure you cant stop staring at her!
Im still waiting patiently. I was a bit glad I didnt go into labour iyesterday as I felt so whacked. However today Im full of beans and just so ready to take on labour and push our baby out!
I had a couple of pretty painful BH/contractions/tighenings in my abdomen a few hours ago but had a bath and nothing since. Still the occassional shooting pain in my vagina & dull lower back ache.
Went for a 30 min walk today and bounced on ball. Its been a few days but will maybe DTD with hubby tonight as well.
Hope everyone keeping well!x
