Thank you Summertime

Yes they suspect in the last 6 weeks baby has had a rapid growth spurt according to my scan results, But head has been very low & they have had trouble getting mesurements from it, Two of the measurements come from the head to determined the babys weight so i`m not sure how accurate its going to be.

We were always told to allow 500g either side of the estimate weight which is a massive difference! Both our babies were a lot smaller than predicted x

Just checking if any more babies have arrived :)

Rae Rae and Merry beautiful babies :) Hope you are recovering well.

We are finally going home after such a long time in the hospital.

Can't wait to take my little man home and start a new family life.

We named our little one Thomas Daniel Brown. :)

Ahh so pleased you’re off home Charlotte, it’s all so much easier in your own surroundings.
Love his name, I think Thomas is making a come back, will you call him Tommy? I know a little boy called Tommy and he’s adorable! Has he gained some weight?

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing.
CONGRATULATIONS to the March mummies that have had their babies already, awww and what beautiful babies they are!! So happy to hear they are all doing well!!!
I still have 4 weeks and 3 days to go until my due date, time is starting to slow down now, just can't wait for our baby to arrive safely so we can give him a big cuddle, we are so ready to meet him now!! Cant wait to get these last few weeks at work out of the way and then it really is a waiting game. Hospital bags are packed just waiting to go!
Cant wait to hear news of more March babies arriving, it is just all so exciting!!! :) :) :)

Loopy Lou, hope the induction is going well. Been thinking of you xx

Charlotte, Thomas is a lovely name. So glad you’re home now xx

Hope everyone else is doing well. Found out I’m anaemic yesterday...no wonder I have no energy! 8 days to go until my c section...eeek!!xx

I love the name Thomas, its my cousins name but I dont know of any others. Its a sweet but strong boys name. Glad you're home!
Dee and Loopylou cant wait to hear your news very soon about your babies.

Well my baby decided not to come on my birthday yesterday so still waiting. Im sick of eating dates & drinking raspberry leaf tea, they are both disgusting. I dont mind the pineapple so much.
I went to a TENS machine workshop at the hospital yesterday and as due date is Monday I was furst in line to take one home to borrow for early labour. Not sure if it will help much as I have heard mixed things about them, but I'll give it a go.xx

Loveandpeace- I used a tens until i got into the pool. I probably should have started using it earlier then I did but I wasn't sure I was in labour for ages! My contractions were all completely in my back, I never felt a thing anywhere else, and I found the tens really helped. It gave me something to have control over during the waves of pressure, and pushing the boost button did have a positive effect. By the time the midwife checked me I was 7cm dilated and that was entirely on breathing and the tens machine. X

Merry thats so good to hear your positive experience with the TENS! They did say to use as early as possible. Thats amazing you got to 7cm with breathing and the machine only. Fingers crossed my experience is similar as well as water birth.
I had very strong BHs the other night and thought it woukd be the start of labour but it obviously wasnt so im just curious now as to if i will actually know when I am in early stages of labour.
Did you take gas and air when you got into the pool? How long were you in the pool for before Adeline was born?x

the tens machine was a lifesaver in my last labour!

Re early stages - I really wasn't sure until I really was sure if that makes sense! I had these waves of backache, if I think back, from the Friday evening, but they were very intermittent. It wasn't until I was in bed on Saturday night that I admitted to myself that I would be fine for about 15 minutes and then feel the backache, and maybe that meant something... I didn't know it was labour until I got out of the bath about 6:30 on Sunday evening and realised I was bleeding. Which freaked me out by the way, I didn't realise that 'a bloody show' could involve so much blood and be fine!

I got into the pool probably around 10:30, 11pm? I only had the one internal examination when the midwife arrived about 9:30, as I'd asked not to have any, so just went with what felt right. About that time I felt the tens wasn't making any difference and I just craved the water somehow. I didn't start using gas and air immediately, probably about midnight. Adeline was born at 1:13am, apparently second stage was only about ten minutes. Gas and air gave me something to focus on and stopped me starting to panic, which I felt on the edge of in the last half hour or so. It really came into its own when I was being stitched up!

Hello ladies, We welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world at 17.19pm last night weighing exactly 8lbs ...
