Little update from me.

scan went fine. Her tummy seems to have gone to ‘normal size’ however her little thigh bone doesn’t seem to have developed much within the last 2 weeks.

last scan she was 5lb 2oz this week she’s 5lb 7oz so hasn’t grown much within the last two weeks. Because of this hospital have said they want to induce me at 37 weeks.....NEXT THURSDAY!!! So we’re all booked in to get induced on 27th total shocked. Was expecting induction at 38 weeks not 37 but I’d rather her be out than in.
If I get another high spike in the morning tomorrow with GD I will be put on insultin shots until she’s born on an evening only.

So my last working day will be Monday. Gives me two days to relax before baby arrives .. not long at all!!

going for a walk around birth centre tomorrow. Can’t believe this time next week I’ll probably be induced and the waiting game begins xx

I had a growth scan this afternoon, she’s gone up to 97th centile! Plus a lot of water, nearly 2cm more than the max they want to see. They think it could be an indicator of gestational diabetes, even though I’ve already been tested next week I’ll be seeing the diabetic nurse to check my blood sugar levels daily then back in 2 weeks to rescan and see consultant. I’ll be 38 weeks by then...if I make it that far! Dr I saw today said babies in that amount of water tend to come early. (hooray!!)

Thanks great @Nattles33! I am lying here with horrid cramps, it's been 5 hrs since my 2nd pessary for induction and I can't sleep as only comfy when I'm walking about... Just hope on next examination I've still made some small progress.

had a general midwife appointment today, no sugar in urine today! So hopefully gestational diabetes new scare will be ok.

She reckons if I still have extra fluid on my next scan I’ll be induced. I’ll be 38 weeks by then so fx she is right! Not engaged yet though

I'm awful nauseous again it's like morning sickness all over. Fingers crossed its hormonal and means I might have a baby soon (desperately hoping for any signs of natural childbirth over here!)

I had my 38 week midwife yesterday, baby is nearly engaged so hopefully not too long now, just washing the last of the baby clothes and get the bedroom furniture tomorrow, had a really nice first week of maternity leave got loads done the house is looking so much better, didn’t want to bring baby home to a messy house.

I started insulin injections last week not what i want but at least its only on an evening and only until wednesday

Counting the days down ans i am SO looking forward to starting maternity leave.

What a stressful few days!

I wasn’t feeling well on Saturday so I rang the maternity unit and they wanted me to come in for checks. They checked my blood pressure which was high so continued to do a BP profile. Continued to stay high. I was discharged and told to come back on Friday for another BP profile. Yesterday I felt the same so I rang again this time with reduced movements. They done their checks and baby is fine but they are concerned now as it’s 3rd time with reduced movements. I have to go into hospital for daily monitoring of baby. I have a scan booked for Wednesday to see how he is doing. And then back again Friday for more BP checks.

If reduced movements continue I will be induced early! Our boy is already making us worried. But so far he’s okay! Just have to keep an eye on him.

I keep checking for news about @Alexis2017 and whether she has had her baby boy. Hope all is well

Exciting for you @Nattles33 i know you’re in Newcastle too? Wishing you well for your induction on Thursday! It’s all getting exciting now.

Good luck ladies!!

I have 30 days left until my scheduled section making me 35 weeks!! I’m still working for about 2-3 more weeks depending on what I can tolerate!!

I will say I am slightly confused because at my 33 week scan my doctor said my little man was on the smaller side about 4.5 pounds but nothing she was concerned for because I’m so petite but then mentioned his kidney growth but didn’t say whether or not growing slowed down. She did say she wasn’t concerned but she just suggested another scan in two weeks (this Thursday) Hoping he was in bad position because all his other scans have been perfect. Has anyone encountered something similar?!

So thankful March is approaching!!

Ahhh that's so exciting @Nattles33. Congratulations on finishing work! Cant believe you will be holding your baby this week.

All is well with me. So ready to not be pregnant again now haha. I had some awful cramping this morning and started to get a little hopeful but it seems to have eased off this afternoon. I suspect this one is going to keep me on my toes...
