Hello ladies!

It seems there is lots of plug shedding going on in here. I can add to that, lost a teeny tiny bit last week but nothing else.

I am feeling DREADFUL today, I have a headache and a temperature and my belly is really really itchy. I just want to stay in bed for a long time.

I wonder if its a 35 week thing???? xxxxxxx

Maybe it is hun. I've felt ok for the past few weeks mostly too.

Not long now for you though? 4 weeks ish? Fx it goes quickly xx

I tend to rock back and forth on my ball in front of the tele rather than bounce but only cos of the arthritis in my knees hurting when I do. Mine came from the sports shop was a yoga ball that the OH got me (around £4). xxxx

Hi Hun I bought a ball through nct and must admit it's a god send. The last few weeks I find it uncomfortable to lie back on settee this offers and alternative seat or I use it to lean forward on.
It's also supposed to be useful in the first stage of labour while you're still at home.

I heard you have to be careful with using gym balls as they aren't anti burst x

I've been off work since January, and even thought of doing voluntry work to stop my boredom. but the later people have left it the more rest they should get, i've rested for the lot of us! x

id deffo get a ball apple, when im all achey and uncomfy the ball is the only place i can sit comfortable, its a god send.

well im feeling very grumpy today girls, didnt sleep as usual and OH left at 6am to go on work trip n not back till wednesday, the only sleep i seem to get these days is in the morning time n from about 7 when he leaves till 11 ish but no not today i get a call at 830 to say work mate of his needed to call in n get OH's work keys from me so i had to go n get up n wait for them n now i dont wanna go back to bed but im too tired to do anything n feeling hungry but too sic to eat

been off this for few days n good to see there lots of babys on the way though

although i dont feel anywhere near ready to go, so many of use loosing plugs n havin more pressure n looking ike ur gettin ready , iv none of that

just a grumpy head on me today fit tokill anyone that loos at me wrong, sorry rant over

aww. hugs hun thats naff, i had my labour and pain relief class today and next tues (my DD) is my tour of the hosp lol. timing isnt my local nhs's strong point i think. you dont wanna lose your plug or anything cos kayla has to stay put til daddy is back now. i hope you can catch a nap or something hun.

Hugsy: I agree with bev - you should not start losing your plug or anything now, cause she has to stay put untill your oh comes back!! Hope you Get to rest a bit and feel better soon

I don't sleep well either these nights - ths night I had a lot of period type of pains in my back, but I managed to sleep and now their totally gone. But at least that's something maybe my body is preparing for what is about to come?? Hope so!!

Apple: I don't have a ball and I don't Think I will buy one now, since I've managed without one this far. You could go to a shop and try one out!?? Maybe it's easier to decide whether you're buying one or not than!?

Apple i dont have a ball either, tried one out at antenatal class last week and didnt like it, didnt find it comfy to sit on so glad i never bothered!

I'm not sleeping well either esperanza hopefully we wont have too long to wait now!

Thanks girls, feel little better now, i can be a right grumpy cow in the mornig at the best of times, just let it all get on top of me this morn

had txt from woman in work n she gonna pop in for coffee n chat today so be nice to have company for a bit, even summond uup d energy to make a jam roll, hopefully being up so early will mean il be extra tired n more likley to sleep tonight

yeah guess i dont want her coming whie im on my own although his boss did say he would ge him on next flight home if i did go into labour .

Apple : i just got a normal sports ball, mainly use it for puttin my feel up on though lol gonna start sittin on it again now this week

Bev: that is very bad timing with ur nhs, how have u found d labour class today?

it was ok lol, there was only me and 1 couple that turned up and i just found it laughable that she didnt wanna talk about any possible complications until the hospital tour on my DD. i asked about the group b strep and she basically just fobbed me off with the we dont test for that then went on about vit k. useless really but hey ho at least i bothered

That sounds rubbush bev! we had our first antenatal last week and last one this week, hubby wasnt keen on the lady doing it though, he thought she was a man hater as she said "if childbirth was left up to men, there would be alot less people in the world" hahaha, i couldnt help but giggle, think he learned some new things though.

Glad you are feeling better hugsy, i'm exactly the same in the mornings, especially these days!

Me too I'm still working! I finish Friday but I have Wednesday off as it's my birthday - and it's special for me as it's a REAL birthday!! Lol haven't had one for 4 years. I'll be 7 leap years old hee hee!

Can't wait to finish now but I am shocked at how well I've felt the last week or so. I had so much energy this weekend - just hope I don't suddenly crash and burn xx

Aww coolbeans you have an amazing birthdate!! I'd love to be 7 years old again started washing beanies clothes/blankets etc today!! All feeling very real - got our second antenatal class on weds - this one is on breastfeeding so will be funny to watch how my OH reacts!! Xx

Wbm: after watching a film about breastfeeding with me (I made him) my hubby said his view on breasts was damaged forever...lol!!

My oh was pretty damaged after our breast feeding session! The lady got out a knitted boob and a gremlin puppet to show how a baby feeds!!

They did give us dolls to practice positioning which oh got really attached too though - the lady had a job to get it back!! Lol!!

One of my friends had her baby last night!! She was due on 2nd march, so baby came 4 days early!! I am so happy for her, but we have gone through our pregnancies together, and I kind of feel really envious that her baby is here and mine isn't!!! I am 4 weeks behind her though so I knew it was going to happen, I've just been hit hard by the green eyed monster!! Xx
