Awww Max had his jabs at about 2.. It was so heartbreaking I totally cried! He let out a massive cry, but to be fair seemed over it in about a minute. I'm such a baby tho I cried more! Can't believe gotta do it all again in 4 weeks ;-(. He seems ok now tho so that's good.

Swimming was good fun! I just had him in little swimmers xx

Harrison is soo grumpy after his jabs, he's refusing feeds and screaming hysterics everytime I put him down. Its going to be a long night by myself :( how do you know when they should have some calpol? I don't want to give it to him unnecessarily x

If u think he's needs some, give him one dose.
It's only paracetamol, and will reduce his temp if he has one too.
Bless him, hope he feels better soon. Xx

Tapatalking. X

Even try him on have the recommended dose hun just a lil bit xxx

I didn't give David any I'm tight ha ha but he didn't have a temp I can ease very bad headaches with paracetamol only because I didn't grew up being fed calpol or what they have here childrens ibuprofen.. First time I seen that I was like what the actual fuck :s seeing me brother in ;law ~(11 year old) take it for bloody headaches the fuck's that about!!

To be fair I think everyone gets headaches at diff levels and hav diff pain thresh holds while I don't think u should take meds if u can cope without I don't think anyone should suffer and sometimes headaches can be very painful children's pain relief except calpol didn't exsist when I was a baby so I never had it.some headaches I get I need paracetamol some headaches I don't the shooting pain into the eye kind I have to take something else I can't focus or function properly.thank fully I get them rarely. It's DeF got its uses. I guess its up to the parent to decide as and when a child needs medicine. X

I gave him some in the end as he was so upset. 20 minutes later he's had a big feed & is drifting off now x

That's what I meant if baby is proper upset by feeling ill from the jabs or whatever and let's u know for a longer period than usual then id be like yea lets give him some but when there is no fever or anything when it's not jabs I just think its overly sold iykwim ibuprofen should be there as a last resort or in emergency situations e.g after (dental) surgery or medical interference not for a tiny headache which is what my MIL. My mom would first make me drink water an try to go sleep first before I was allowed paracetamol as she's convinced the water with taking it is the actual part that sorts you out but I've got migraines so I know when it's serious water ain't going to help shit lol must admit it is hard to judge with babies I've heard people say my baby had proper headache and it just makeshift think how do you know baby can't tell?? :/ I mean belly ache we can see very clear haha

Just had letter for noahs jabs :(

10th sept at 1.10pm.. OH has asked for the mon and tues off work so i hope they let him! :( i really cant do this myself xx

Its not so bad dani, they do cry & it sounds horrible but deep down you know what jabs feel like & the pain goes away very quickly, after a cuddle they are fine. The worse bit for us was the reaction he had: refusing feeds, a temp, crying his head off when I put him down, sickness & diarrhea, was pretty awful, but he's completely fine today!

I've had the letter for Emily's injections Dani. Hers are the 17th. I've made hubby take half day at work as I can't bare to see it. Was really upset in the hospital when she got her heel prick for blood sample for her jaundice! X
