**June 2019 Testing Thread**

Congrats @Oliviasmommy! Are the meds not safe to take while pregnant?

So sorry Af got you @Hendy1, maybe you should go get some info for some testing like the others have suggested. You've been on these testing threads for quite a while now.

@SugaryIris so does that mean you will start ivf soon?x

I think so, well once we’ve saved up for it, so in about 6 months x

I’d like to join this thread to support you ladies if that’s okay! I’m only about 3dpo-4dpo at the moment though. So all of my “symptoms” are obviously just progesterone and I have no idea if I’ll be pregnant. I feel as I usually do after ovulation. I’ve been having unprotected love making and mostly timed around fertile window since 2017 and nothing yet. So I feel as though I’ll get AF this cycle too. I don’t know why it would be any different (all we did differently was use OPK’s) but I guess you never know.

My temps rised 1.2 degrees Celsius since ovulation 3 or 4 days ago. (36.0-37.2)

I’m either 5 or 6dpo today and I’m feeling really sick tonight :(
I want it to be a positive sign so so bad but it could easily just be a side effect from the cortisone shot I had.
Just have to wait and see.

I’m worried it’s going to muck up AF or my cycles afterwards :(

No, unfortunately they are a class C. I don’t typically take anti depressants but some are approved that happen to treat anxiety but I’d rather just not take anything!

So my HCG test came back at 82 and I took it when I was 3 weeks and 5 days. A chart i found online says 3 weeks the range is 5-50 then 4 weeks its 5-426. I was going to retest on Thursday to see how much it rises but I figured I’ll wait until Monday. I’ll be 4 weeks and 5 days then so the results should be higher. Feeling nervous as it still seems low to me.

I wouldn’t worry, implantation can happen at different times and woman’s bodies are all different which is why they is such a large fluctuation in what is normal. X

Sending my love to everyone still to test for June. I have 2 wee embryos on board now snuggling in. My OTD is 2nd July but going to test on the 1st July as I am off work 1st and 2nd July. I will see whoever is joining the July testing thread

We are saving 7k as that is the cost of a 2 multi cycle but if you price up each individual element it works out 5-7k per cycle anyway so it’s definitely worth us going for the multi.

Not sure if it will even happen now, had some bad business news about dh’s business this morning so it may be put back further or not an option at all.. we will have to wait and see.

So I’m off to work with two bottles of blood in my bag, haha.

My dad needs a stem cell transplant so I’m being tested as a potential match. Fingers crossed I’m a good one!

I thought my surgery would post it up to Liverpool themselves but apparently not! Lol.

In other news, I had one small bit of pink spotting last night but nothing at all this morning. I’ll only count it as significant if I go 24 hours with no more though.

Oh wow, that is odd that your surgery wouldn't arrange transport for your blood. That is amazing that you are being tested to help your dad out.
I would struggle so much with that, my body struggles to give blood when i am having a little poxy blood test. I can't even fill up a small tube.
Fingers crossed that the spotting is implantation hun x

The nurse took one look at my veins and said ‘wow, well we’ll have no problems here!’ Haha.

I’m going to have to get my work post to send the blood off in a box!

That's what my job is! I work as an Apheresis Nurse, so I carry out stem cell collections and also take ppls bloods for tissue typing -lto see if there a match. you can't donate if your pregnant though. Good luck, you will always be a half match when donating for parents, we collect sibling matches and haplos and also ppl can collect their own cells (autologous)

I also do various other procedures all related to blood.

@soffphie Thanks, I think it's about time too I get my BFP and it sticks this time around

@SugaryIris So sorry to hear about your DH work. I hope it all works out. Do you got get a round paid for where you live!?

What a cool job! :D

I got my BFP on 10DPO! I’m 15dpo now and I have some slight cramping (which I remember having with my daughter). Hoping all is ok though. My tests are getting darker and I did my HCG blood test yesterday. Hoping to get the results today then go back Thursday for a repeat and make sure numbers are increasing. I can’t get in with my doctor until end of July so I just paid to get the labs done myself for a peace of mind!
Congrats on your BFP!!

Stay positive those who didn’t, there is still hope for us!

Fingers crossed to those still waiting to test.
X

Nope nothing paid for here, I hate the stupid UK lottery. Hopefully dh’s work is sorted out now, it’s been an awful and stressful day.

Just gotta keep saving. Will be 2.5 years by the time we have the funds and to make matters worse my dad said I need to hurry up as time is running out! ☹️ We are trying!!
