*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Eeeek how exciting Lucy. Seeing a wee newborn will just make it all the more real for you!

Woohoo weekend! Work countdown is on - only 9 working days left yeeeeeah! xx

I know what you mean colettypie, she will be so teeny.

I only have 9 working days now as found out I have to do 1 less day than I thought. I'm done for April so bring on the countdown!!!

Congratulations Lucy!

Ah you guys are making me jealous, I still have 25working days left!!x

That's nice Lucy!

I have about 16 working days I think but I still don't finish until the end of May, just got quite a lot of days off between now and then.

Feeling a bit achey, sick, tired and fed up this afternoon/evening :(

Penultimate shift for me tonight!!

Really cant wait for Sunday morning to arrive - Can start focusing on all things baby related and getting to spend some one and one time with DS before the new arrival.

Lucyboo - Eeeek, new born cuddles!! I would love to know someone who's had a baby recently. Find myself staring longingly and the new borns on the school run like some weird creepy lady :D

x

I'm not feeling too great either Buggy. No appetite and a bit sick and faint (I am eating though not hungry) and I'm really struggling to bend down now.

Enjoy finishing up Pismo! x

Morning! You girls were bang on with the hiccups description!! Woke up at 4 by some kicks so went to pee. Came back and noticed the kinda heartbeat sensation quite low down and it clicked - that's what woke the baby up! Hiccups! Went on for about 3/4 mins and I just lay smiling about it. I could feel how low down babys head was - right in my pelvis. Was so cute. I have def had this before but never put 2 and 2 together. Glad I now know - my baby is part of the hiccuping club!

Hope buggy and belfa are feeling better today xx

Thanks Colletteypie. I'm still get a lot of crampy type pains but not too bad. Got a date with hubby tonight so really looking forward to a night out!

At work at the moment though, boo. Can't wait for work to be done and dusted!

Thanks ladies, her big sister gets to meet her today then other family from then onwards which I think is nice. For the first time ever I'm not pushing to see her quick as want family to be the same with us.

Just had the biggest lay in in ages, 11am haha,, hubby working overtime and I fell back to sleep. Must have needed it after this week.

Colettypie I get that too, ahh so it's baby hiccups x

Aw Lucy enjoy the newborn cuddles, it'll make u even more impatient to meet your little one.

Im full of aches too, wonder is it just this stage of pregnancy? My back is now killing me, even up high between shoulder blades which I don't normally get. My spd is still sore too, dreading how im going to feel in 6 weeks at this rate! Ive been using my ball more and more but doesnt provide much relief. Hope the rest of yous are in better form.

On for a rant...hate my bloody work. Just received an appointment from occupational health in two weeks time for being off on the sick. Only problem is the appointment is on my first day of mat leave at 36wks! So I dont see the point of it, assessing my capacity to work when I'll be on mat leave! I wouldn't care but its an hour away and driving that back and forth will kill my back, never mind having to drag my toddler along. Will ring on Monday and see if its really necessary but think it's a bit late in the day for that! Grrr ok rant over lol xx

Ahh enjoy your date! :) hubby and o went for pub lunch today, 5 mins after arriving a couple with a pretty new looking baby sat on table next to us, made me excited!

Well it's my bday today :) I've been working. But OH took me out for romantic meal!

Just had to buy some bigger comfy pjs and now comfy in bed :)

I felt babies hiccups today for first ever time! He's had it twice now today! Must be the big meal I ate haha ;) xx

Happy Birthday Charlie!

I'm feeling better today, I have slept a lot though we went out to ikea and DH had to get me a seat as I was really struggling with my breathing. Found the horses hard work this morning too so I fear this is the end of my active chores!x

Happy birthday charlie x

We've been out for a meal with my dad and his partner tonight. Trying to catch up with everyone before we have bubba, hope you are feeling ok now Belfa x

I dropped DH off in town tonight (that's the second time this week he's been out and it's hilarious because he never goes out as he doesn't drink but all his friends are asking him as though the baby will mean they never see him again ) and popped in to Asda on my way back. Had a gander at the baby event and they have a big 2 for £16 or 2 for £20 section with massive multipack boxes of nappies, wipes and the Johnstons newborn and baby kits. I didn't have a trolley so will take DH back tomorrow!x

Aw happy birthday for Yday charlie :-)! Love that we both noticed hiccups for the first time yday. It's now so obvious to me... Can't believe I didn't notice it before.

Yeah belfa, it's weird how pregnancy just creeps up on you and all of a sudden you can't do the things that are the norm anymore :-(! Thanks for the Asda shout Tho, I might pop down and get the johnsons kit and newborn nappies.

Is everyone doing pampers? Is it aldi ones that are supposed to be good too?

How is everyone finding sleeping? I'm finding it so hard to get comfy (once baby eventually stops kicking). But my legs are the main problem. The ache so much that I find I enjoy my frequent toilet breaks now just to give them a stretch! Is this just the extra weight we carry causing it?

Hope you all are having nice weekends :-) xx

Happy (belated) birthday Charlie :-)

Coletteypie - I don't think we've ever used Pampers on our dd, find them v expensive but maybe I'm just tight :-) We use supermarkets own - usually Asda or Aldi. They're a fraction of the price and we've never had any problems with them. It's trial and error though, I wouldn't stock up too much on any particular brand in case baby doesn't get on with them. The Johnsons box was on offer at Toys r Us a couple of weeks ago for about £7! Not sure if it still is though...

Great thanks Nomad, I'll get a mix of Asda, aldi and (as a treat to my newborn if happens to be on offer) some pampers :-D!

I do remember at our ante natal classes they said the average family will spend £5k on nappies on the first 2.5 years!!!! I mean... That's horrendous!

£5k!!? That's what, £150 a month...? No chance! I'd be surprised if we spend £20 a month! Were they trying to talk you into using cloth nappies? I guess it's like a lot of things, you can spend a lot of money on them but you certainly don't need to! It's an incentive to potty train as soon as possible though I guess! I'd hoped dd would be potty trained by the time this one comes but she's not ready and there's no point forcing the issue. Not looking forward to having two lots of nappies to change...!

I've heard great things about Aldi nappies... Ive got pampers in at the mo but will try some cheaper ones when she's here and see how she goes!

Dreamt last night that I almost dropped her out the window whilst changing her first nappy. Got a feeling the dreams are only going to get worse!!
