*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Pismo, don't worry too much tbh I think they all measure slightly differently..mine was bang on at my 25 week appt and at my 28 week appt was measuring 26 weeks but my bump is defo bigger. Apparently there is a 3cm range or something, x

Pismo - I agree with Lucyboo - I had my first measurement taken on Friday which was 25cm and it was done again Tuesday when it was 27cm. I think there are so many factors to make it fluctuate, I really don't think it grew 2cm in 3 days! But both are still less than the 28cm I should have been for 28 weeks xx

Belfa I haven't ordered any furniture yet. I've got the crib and that's it. We'll be moving house in the next few months, although god knows when, and it's just more stuff for us to move. Even if we were settled we won't be doing the nursery until baby is ready to move to their own room. Gives me a place to put my parents when they come to visit and means I make make it girlie or boyish depending on what I have :) xx

Ah that's right - it was the cottage in the village your DH lives in your were going for wasn't it? Have you heard the outcome yet?

My in-laws have since offered to buy our furniture which leaves the whole awkward thing of what to choose as I don't know how much they want to spend. As it happens they just called me having decided to go shopping for the furniture today to check which sets were my favourite and they picked out our ultimate favourite as an option which is great but I still don't feel totally comfortable with them buying the whole set for us x

Belfa we have bought nothing. And i dont just mean nursery furniture....nothing. Except the bouncer we bought in the sale! We have chosen a pram and a crib but not ordered. Not getting a cot until a few months down the line. But need to get a sling, some clothes, a changing table etc.....better get a move on actually!

Belfa i have those pants!!! They are soooo comfy! Hubby doesn't even blink at them now, he's used to seeing me in them hehe!

I am ordering my furniture this weekend. Couldn't order earlier cos nursery still been getting decorated. Think is 4 weeks for delivery.

Pismo - they are a bit late on the 28 week appt no?? I had my 28 week one at 27 weeks! I was measuring a week ahead as well - :-o. But yeah, she said a 3cm window was the norm!

I had booked one for 26weeks as I couldn't get time off for one during the 28th week. The midwife didn't want to wait another 6-7weeks to see me after that so booked me in for one this week too.

Belfa - We're ridiculously organised in this house (all down to OH - Not me!) so we have almost everything now. Furniture is all built and in the nursery ready - even though we wont be using it until LO is x months old. I figured that if we spread the cost we wont feel it so much, by doing it that way we have managed to save a fair amount by buying at the right time too :)

Gosh, just had a look at those pants belfa!! Not joking when you say big pants :D Don't they slip back down your bump? I think I would spend the day yanking them back up :)

Furniture ordered and assembled last week, here's part pic of the cot bed. Our crib is due tomorrow woop!!

All we've heard is that there's been an 8 week extension on the build, taking me to about 35 weeks pregnant, and we handed in our notice to leave this house a couple of nights ago to move back in with the in laws (love my life!!!!). We've since had contact from our local councillor who is coming round in the morning to sort out some paperwork with us, and he's arranged an environmental health inspector to come visit us Monday to see the damp. It's all kicking off here! Xx

My brother in law has offered to get the cotbed for us, I completely know what you mean about pricing, we've no idea how much he has in mind either! My gran's given me some money too, which we'll put towards more furniture and so we probably won't have to spend too much ourselves which is nice. But we're not in any rush yet. X

Hi Belfa, thanks for hosting this thread.

Well, I thought it was time to join all you lovely ladies in Tri 3 (the first time I have ever got this far) I'm excited but of course apprehensive.

My EDD is 24th June I feel like a whale already so god knows how big I'll become lol. I get out of breath just going up and down stairs already.

Hello to everyone and congrats on your pregnancies. Hope everything's going smoothly for you all.

Take care xxxx

Hi Vicky! Nice to see you in here... Hope to hear more from you.

I cant sleep and my mind wont rest. Thoughts for tonight - parental guilt :(

We are moving house in July hopefully (once our contract is finished here) somewhere 50miles away - Closer to OH work. We have moved house roughly once a year since 2010 (due to different reason) but have luckily only changed DS school once (between year 1 and 2 - He is now in year 3).

The immense guilt I feel for moving house yet again is currently so overwhelming that I am sat here in tears ;( I know this move is the best thing for the family long term (closer to OH work, cheaper rent - meaning I wont have to work, cheaper buying prices, larger town ect) but I just cant get over the way my DS may feel.

He is so grown up (almost too grown up for his age) and i feel to blame for him missing out on childhood. I know he is sad about moving and leaving his friends behind - OH is less sympathetic but I get it and I just want to make it easier for him.

Sorry about the rant but just didnt know where else to vent at this ridiculous hour. It feels like the guilt is literally eating me up...

I'm awake too pismo, I have been getting up this time of night to go to the loo this week-it's like clockwork. Been waking at 3am and then struggling to fall back asleep. Please don't get yourself too upset regarding your move, you really are only doing what's best for your family and as moving is stressful for everyone your maybe just feeling overwhelmed by the thought of it. I feel Children actually adapt quicker than us grown ups and I just know that everything will be fine once yous are settled and into routine. Yous have lots to look forward too with new baby so try your best not to beat yourself up love ️xxx big hugs ️xxx

Hi vickyclare, nice to see you over here...getting this far is a huge achievement... Your little one will be here before you know it now.

Hope you aren't too tired Pismo and bubblegum. I've slept well again surprisingly, Pismo, there are so many ways for your son to stay in contact with his close friends now. My cousin lives in Exeter and her daughters best friend lives in Scotland. They still manage somehow.. Children adapt fairly quick anyway. Hope you are feeling better after some sleep. X
