*** June 2015 Mummies ***

I've been measuring 2 weeks ahead for the past few weeks so keep telling myself I need to ease up on the chocolate etc but it hasn't happened. Having said that I've put on just under 1 1/2 stone so it's not like the weight is piling on. I put on just under 2 1/2 in total with DD and I think I'm about on track to do the same this time and she was only 6lb 7oz so hopefully this one won't be a whopper! I needed forceps and an episiotomy to get her out so the thought of a big one scares the life out of me!!

The reason I'm worried about them not sorting out my cover is because there's only me and one other woman who do the same job, last time I was on mat leave she has an absolute nightmare and I was amazed she was still there when I went back - she's been very vocal about the fact that she won't be putting up with it again and she'll be out the door if they don't sort something out soon so my concern is she'll leave and then the whole department will fall apart (which sounds a bit drastic but we're only just coping at the minute!!). But, you're right in that I won't be there so at least it won't affect me until I go back (which hopefully will be after a year off!)!

I know what you mean but I really wouldn't worry about work stuff, you've got enough to be dealing with. It's their problem, they obviously know how your colleague feels so if they chose not to do anything about it and the poop hits the fan it's down to them x

Ahhhh so I went into a Lloyds in a wee town nearby and got my blood pressure checked - 149/87!!!!! It's usually 125/70! The woman was like ehhhh I think you should phone NHS 24 and your midwife!

I'm not home until tomorrow. So trying to stay calm. Headache isn't too bad right now. But fingers and feet are defo more swollen than ever before.

According to this if it's only one reading there's no need to worry. Just get it checked again when you can, it's if it's consistently high it's a concern.

Mine was low yesterday something like 90/70. Don't know what that means, the hospital didn't seem to care!

Got a day off tomorrow and going out with my cousins for lunch. Have been feeling really rubbish about how big I am and all the clothes I'm wearing are so frumpy and baggy. Sobbed down the phone to my mum last night and she told me to buy some clothes to cheer me up. Bought some next day delivery maternity maxi dresses and surprise surprise they didn't show up at my work today. Now I'm home with no summery clothes to cheer me up and i'm gonna be out tomorrow with one of my horrid baggy t-shirts.

Is it June yet? haha...

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend... I am officially shattered, was awake at six with the rib pain I previously had (not had it in about a month) I'm sure it's baby's position. Been at a BBQ this afternoon, was nice but of course pretty much everyone was drinking although I found a comfy seat and sat with couple of the girls. There was a 2 month baby there, some random friend of our friends, poor thing had its legs out and looked so cold. Got home and I was annoyed with hubby as he has been stroppy so put the stickers up in the nursery, that cheered me up. They look amazing. I'll post pics once it's finished. It's our 1st wedding anniversary tomo so off for a Chinese at lunch, too much food lol.

Try not to worry colettypie unless you don't feel right, hope you manage to get checked soon.
I get quite low blood pressure but no one seems fussed.

Heybaba that's rubbish about the clothes, do you have any non maternity maxi dresses, that was the only non maternity thing I could still fit in. Guess that's the advantage of them being long. I wish it was almost June too, but we are nearly there...

Ladies my little baby clearly didn't like June. She arrived on Friday night, 7 weeks and 1 day early so is an April baby!
I got preeclampsia and the placenta had stopped feeding her so I had to have an emergency section to get her out. She's out now and doing well but oh so tinY! Will try and send you A pic today x

At the bit down the bottom where you are writing a post hit "Go Advanced". Then hit the attachments button (its the wee paperclip!) and it should bring up a new page that lets you upload a picture. Click "choose file" and then "upload". Once you've done that close the pop up window, select the wee downward pointing arrow next to the paperclip and select the attachment youve just uploaded :)
