*July 2018 Mummies*

Jem, if the consultant accepts our decision to have a section, I will probably get mine on the 31st x

Happy 33 weeks KH.

Blimey, 31st is bloody close to your due date isn't it!

I have a week full of appointments next week. Thursday is the scan and consultant appointment though. Can't wait to see baby. We had so many scans in the first half of the pregnancy that it feels like we haven't seen baby for such a long time, lol.

I actually got some sleep last night, so feeling good this morning. Dog only got me up once and baby did a few bog kicks but only to wake me briefly.

San puts his ear on me most nights now to hear where baby is. I asked him to last night due to the strength and duration of the movements. I wondered if baby had turned. Nope. He has always been easily able to hear the babies hb in this trimester but last night he could feel it as well but baby was pushing out, lol. Dan was tapping my leg with his finger to babies hb and I was feeling mine. Babies was a perfect beat of twice as fast as mine. It was lovely.

Jem, how is your sister doing now? Has she had any more scans or information?

Aww it must be lovely for Dan to be able to do this and actually hear something! And glad you got a good night sleep, this is priceless these days!

Thank you! 33 weeks... wow! I will be 35 for my appointment and possibly may be getting a section 4 weeks from that date? I think they usually aim for week 39? Don't know why but I have this strong feeling that she will arrive early?! like 38 weeks or something! x

Happy 33 weeks KH. Wow, the 31st is really soon. That's next month! Eeek. When do you see the consultant to decide?

I am fed up. I've just had my fourth nosebleed of the week. My cold at the start of the week and now hayfever kicking off isn't helping the situation.

I've got a scan next Friday as for some reason they do a scan at 32 weeks here in Spain. I assume they'll tell me more accurately how big they think the baby is going to be as other than that I'm not sure what it's for.

Oh no Mala that sounds bad, can you do something about the nosebleeds? Tri 3 seems to be pretty bad for a lot of us!!

It is the consultant that I have on the 31st, not the section lol. Hopefully the baby is still growing average and hopefully we can schedule the section for end of June x

Ahhh, I see, I thought you meant section at the end of June. Only put my brain into gear now and remembered June doesn't even have 31 days! Haha.

I asked the doctor about antihistamines for my hayfever at least and she said there's nothing she can prescribe me being pregnant. So I've just to put up with it. I might mention the nosebleeds next week at my appointment but I'm sure they'll says it's just irritation from a cold/hayfever combined with pregnancy.

Trimester 3 has probably been the worst for me of all the trimesters and I'm only at 31 weeks! I hope she comes early but that might be wishful thinking.

Ah Mala that sounds awful. Definitely mention the nosebleeds but I doubt they can do anything. Tri 3 is definitely the more challenging without doubt.

I have come to lie on the bed as any other position makes it feel like babies head will come up through my throat.

Mala I've had loads of nose bleeds too and never had them before!

KHTW happy 33 weeks and I feel the same as you that my baby is gonna come early, I just can't shake the feeling. Hoping it's not just wishful thinking haha. I'm hoping when I see the consultant at 35 weeks that they will agree not to let me go over as my SPD is so bad! But not sure :/

Thanks for asking GG, my sister is being a bit secretive with what she's being told none of us are in the picture unless she accidentally slips something out. I'm very concerned about her, I think she's in denial at the moment. From what info we've received so far, there has to be a paediatrician in the room along with other doctors when she gives birth. Also she has been persuaded by her consultant to have the amniocentesis (which she wasn't going to have as she said it wouldn't change her mind either way), but I think it's so they know what they're expecting when baby comes. She has been told there is a chance he will have a chromosome 22q.11 abnormality which reading up on it is called Di.George syndrome and looks as though there will be disabilities and a lot of health problems (fingers crossed there won't be). She's also been told he will be either deaf or blind or both. But like I said this is only info she has slipped out by accident so I wonder what else they've said :/

Hello ladies! Hope you are all doing ok!

For you with nose bleeds I got them all the time with my daughter but with this pregnancy luckily nothing so far!

Same as some of you I also have a feeling I will give birth early this time. I have so many BH contractions and sometimes I get scared its early labor but then it suddenly disappears.

The thing is I am not ready for the baby yet! Have not sorted out all the clothes, need to pack my hospital bag ( done nothing at all so far ), buy nappies, set up the bed etc. etc. I am so not ready..

Had my 28 week bloods that came back and I am slightly anemic so taking iron tablets. Not a big deal so far, just hope I don't get constipated.

A very strange thing, went in to have my Whooping cough injection and nurse told me I already had it at 16 weeks.. I cannot absolutely not remember this and I think I would have since they ask you to sit down in waiting room after for 10 minutes and I would have remember that since I had my daughter that day.. Now they think perhaps the nurse logged it incorrectly.. so confusing. They took bloods to see if I am immune and are waiting for the results. Don't need this unnecessary stress.

xx

MI, i think you would remember it as it stings pretty bad and you are likely to have a sore arm for a few days. You are right, this isn't something you need to worry about and they should know what gets recorded in your file!

I am also unprepared... clothes not washed... bag not packed! I will do the washing this saturday since it is supposed to be sunny x

Like KH said, my arm was sore for a few days after the whooping cough jab so I'm sure you would remember MariaIsabella!

I'm in the same position: no washing done, my hospital bag currently contains only a toothbrush and toothpaste, and our pack of baby stuff (pram, car seat, next-to-me-cot, high chair, bouncer) doesn't arrive until the first week in June.

Its so strange. I did have the flu jab and remember having that so surely I would have remembered having it. I even remember having it with my daughter. Perhaps its pregnancy brain.. As long as I know I m immune that's all the matters.

I don't even have anywhere to put the baby clothes so waiting for a new wardrobe I ordered to arrive hopefully this week so I can get a little organized. Think I will try to get most of the hospital bag stuff done this weekend as well.. At least the things I need to buy such as sanitary towels, disposable pants etc.

The thing I noticed from last time is that I had way to much stuff.. I never used half of the stuff I packed and they provided me with so much as well so will pack a little less this time. There is a "What to bring" list on the hospital website which is quite short so will follow that :)

xx

Blimey Jem, that's a lot for all of you to take in. It's quite natural to become a bit withdrawn and secretive when dealing with the unknown. I hope it's all worry over nothing. X

Hey ladies, tried to catch up but I remember very little.

Shan I hope your FIL is feeling better and you too, that must have been so scary.

Mala- hope your hayfever and the nosebleeds ease for you, I've never had either really but I'm sure they're not pleasant

I feel like I'm losing my mind here. Just been told by my mother for the 9204095 time how awful I am (no more info on why im awful just that I am), and she's hounded me all day. No matter what room I go to she appears, just barges into my bedroom without knocking then refuses to leave. Apparently I'm a bully...not sure how when all I've done is sit in silence all day or try to escape. That's the other thing- now I'm huffing cuz I'm not speaking. I'm not speaking because if I say anything there'll be a massive row so it's better to let her talk non-stop and not interfere cuz she twists everything you say.

I actually can't do this anymore

Just painted my own toenails... Don't recommend it to anyone hahahaha

Oh my god. Just turn and tell her to fuck the fuck off out of your space if she finds you so annoying. No news on the housing situation yet?

Gosh laura I don't know how you stay there

Sorry to those of you who have suffered nose bleeds. I'd wake up with a nose full of dried blood in tri1 but thankfully it didn't last and I could blow it out in the morning

Aw Jem I really feel for your sister she must be so stressed out, even if she doesn't really let on. Pregnancy is a testing time for anyone but that worry must be awful

Another nice day here, I really must get this hospital bag sorted I'm too easily distracted. And tonight I'm going to start with the perineum massage oil

I've decided I really want a next to me crib so I'm going to try and sell my swinging crib. It's John Lewis, was only used for 3 months and I've got a brand new mattress to go with it, it cost £79 new plus £25 for the mattress. How much do you think I should try and ask for?

Jem, I really feel for your sister... I can't and don't ever want to imagine what must go through her mind. I hope she can get all the support she needs, even tho she may not be asking for it x

Laura, hopefully you can move out soon. For everybody's sake x

Shep, I hope you manage to sell the crib. From what I see in our local gumtree and facebook these are not very popular and people tend to sell them for pennies. My friend put hers up for £40 and never sold. I have the same crib and will probably sell it for pennies too but I may first use it as spare bed in DD's bedroom x

I am in a lot of discomfort today; the bottom part of my belly (well... bladder area if you know what I mean) is in quite a bit of pain when I move but it is really bad when baby moves. I wonder if she is moving head down?? I feels like she is going to crawl out anytime now!!! x

Thanks, I was thinking I'd put it on for £40 but I was thinking it might not go for that. I might start at 35. I just want a good contribution towards the next to me.

I've been having similar discomfort to you today. Walking around tesco was a bit painful down low

It depends what the market is like shep, my mum bought one for £35 I think but she would probably have paid more, but she is that sort of person haha
