Your all going to have babies on the same day by the sounds of it lol! Someone needs a baby soon!
GG, definitely sounds like bloody show, baby isn't waiting. Hopefully s/he stays in long enough for section. But I'd go in if it starts getting painful. Can go from 0 dilation to pushing in less than an hour (as ikno!)

Getting odd pains in my upper back and neck...think baby is hitting a nerve, lol

Haha no baby from me! I'm glad to, husband, DD and I have had a fantastic day!set off for the beach early this morning as husband said he could take a few hours off, ended up there for hours, had a wonderful pub lunch and when we got home at 4ish it was still 24 degrees so we got the paddling pool out. It's been wonderful and I've got a good amount of walking in. Poor husband though only set out to work at 6pm so will be out super late

Good luck GG and Jem! How exciting, I know we'd only be waiting until tomorrow for you anyway GG but I really hope something is happening for both of you!

Jem might you have muscle separation? I have it slightly and get a stitch like pain in the middle. I got a band from the physio which helps but I guess that'd be too late for you now

Ah Shep...sounds a lovely day.

I get what you're saying about the muscle separation. Midwife has asked me about it last few appointments and reckons I haven't had it due to how active I've remained with the horses but she did say it could be quite painful so not to worry unless it was really low down.

God knows what's going on. Still haven't seen a doctor. Heart rate was 183 and really high for ages,after 90 mins of monitoring its now gone down but its staying still at the 140-145 mark so now there's no acceleration which they don't like. The midwife handover came in looked at it and said "oh no", then said his heart rate is all over the place and she's gonna bleep the doctors again to get them to look at it. They're pretty sure my pain is muscular though.

Hi ladies, been a long hot day for me! I’ve joined the FB group...
a few spasms of pain in my lower back this evening, likenthe sort that made me gasp briefly... I’m not going to get my hopes up though!!

Was given a stretch and sweep (don't even want to talk about it! Horrible) but I dealt with it well and the doctor even said she was so impressed with how well I dealt with it considering it's my first baby and first internal. She said I should ace labour with that attitude lol.

She said I had bulging membranes whatever that means but she sounded positive. And said straight away Omg baby's head is very very low. So hopefully all good signs!

Got a scan on Friday and if he's not here by then they will induce x

Glad baby is okay by the sounds of it.

I'm just off to bed at last. Had a great evening. A few very odd sensations but no clear contractions, just BH and no waters or leaks, lol.

I really need a poo though. Not managed all day. Baby is so low I think it's actually blocking anything from moving down there...apart from wee. I'm going constantly. Had my 150mg ranitidine at 10 and have to take the second at 6 before a shower.

1 sleep!!!!!!

Hope you get more comfy soon Jem and well done on coping so well with the sweep.

First contraction at 3.03, waters broke at 3.14.
4-5 minutes apart now. Jumped in shower and on our way in. Please god let it be slow enough that I still get my c section.

I'm in, hooked up and all looks good. They'll hold on for a bit before taking me to theatre bit it's all in hand x
