Flower my OH is the same said he doesn't wanna poke baby in the eye. Ffs :roll: like that is gonna happen hahaha.

Currently got my elephant feet in a bowl of cold water and it feels amazing!
 
Hey ladies...sorry for being MIA, just had a super busy day around the pre-op getting Dan ahead of everything on the yard and in the fields as he'll be doing it all on his own.

MrsLK, massive congratulations...what a dramatic experience but so glad he's here safely.

Jem, you'll have a baby by the weekend, how exciting.

I've read everything but also forgotten everything and my phone is about to die. So...

Pre-op went well, bloods done, given 150mg ranitidine to take at 10pm tomorrow and 6am Wednesday. I'm first in so have to be there at 7.45 and will be all done and dusted by 11 at the latest. Basically just talked me through what would happen and my mum came with me as Dan had to work. Was lovely to spend time with her like that as we are very close but neither of us like doing girly things or shopping or lunch kind of stuff but we had a coffee in the cafe before leaving and it was just a nice chill before we went to B&Q to get something for Dan.

I will try my best to catch up with everyone properly tomorrow, just manic busy finishing everything off. Lol.

Hope you are all coping with the heat okay.
 
Omg GG I'm so excited for you!!! It's not definite I'll have a baby by the weekend but oh I hope so! X

MrsLK, that sounds really stressful, thank God you've got your little boy, hope they are looking after him well and that all the health issues can be worked out. I know it must still be stressful, thinking of you guys. XXX

How exciting some more babies are on their way. It still feels ages before we'll meet our little man. Exactly 1 month to go!

Sisters ankle is better, but she went to her appt today to have a sweep and despite all the pain she's in they've told her her cervix is really long and posterior, baby is at -2 station and it doesn't look like labor is very close! In fact she may end up needing inducing at this rate... Yikes. She'll not be pleased as she's due on Saturday and has been dying to get this baby out bless her.

Blimey, sounds like she's having a bit of a rough time of it! Hope baby hurries up for her.

It'd be absolutely perfect if our boy arrived on Thursday. It's my OH dad's birthday who's no longer with us. We're naming him after his grandad so it's be perfect to share the same birthday.

Thanks everyone, my only worry is that if they decide to induce me on Friday it will be because something is wrong with baby growing. What can be the reasons for this? Maybe something wrong with the placenta or? X
 
And yes KHTW I would do it but I don't know how! I think it's definitely time to set it up though x
 
Oh forgot to say, those of you that remember my dad situation.. His baby was born early yesterday morning, 6 days early at 6lb - a boy named William

I have managed to cut the grass today took about 10 minutes and oh my god I’m dead after that!! The heat is awful even the dogs aren’t impressed, one is sat with a wet tea towel over her and the other has took herself to bed when normally she’s out sunbathing! The ferrets are enjoying the ice cubes in the water this morning but even for them they are struggling!

I actually slept 4 solid hours last night which has helped a lot with my aches and pains!!!

Stay hydrated ladies x

I would do it but I need to be friends with at least one of you to do this. Unless somebody else can? GG _ you are friends with some of us already? Would you be up for creating a group? X

Jem, no idea on reasons but they wouldn't have sent you home yesterday if they were properly worried.

KH, my mum took our dogs home to look after them for the first week of baby being home so the house feels so empty. She just called to say they've all been hosed off and are chilling under the privet hedge, lol.
 
I've looked up how to do it. Do I create a closed group first and then one we're all in there we can change it to secret? It says I can't add people who aren't my friend to a secret group but can to a closed group and can then change it secret..
What do you want me to call it so you can find it? X
 
Okay I've named it PF July 2018 mummies. I've set up a security question for whoever wants to join so that we can make sure it's only us and then when everyone is in I can make it secret :)
