****July 2018 Mummies - Tri 2****

Ahaha the thread just updated as I posted. Welcome to motherhood Jem! Get on those pelvic floors lol xx

I am traumatised. Just had my first sneeze and a wee a bit experience. Horrible!

ROFL.... Sorry babe. I've been having this for the last few weeks... Also happens if I have a coughing fit, or vomiting really hard. It's AWFUL. Pantiliners all the time... Generally happens to me once or twice a day.

I feel I've taken a few steps backwards guys. Had a couple of days off work due to terrible nausea and vomiting, worst I've had yet so far, really tired (like first trimester tired!). Been sleeping up to 15 hours a day.. Why am I regressing? Going to make a point of going into work tomorrow though. Feel comparatively blessed though as my work has been lovely about it.

Jem... Keep following the work saga... Get it all clearly down in writing love and hand that letter in! Hope things turn around for you then!

thanks for the replies ladies, I haven't heard of that energy company shanivy which is a pain because I spent ages comparing last month and now I'm in a contract but I'll have a look and if the savings outweigh the contract end fees I'll look to switch

we're lucky as we have enough wood to last us about 3 years all cut up in a shed (the bonus of these windy winters) and husband had a friend in coal so we get discount there to.

sorry for moaning ladies it's just got me down a bit the last few days. mood not helped by coming in for lunch today to find husband has eaten 7 slices of ham in his sandwiches for lunch leaving me none. good job I like crisp sandwiches but honestly 7 slices!

yes the focus is good as a family car. our pushchair fits no bother with a little shopping but for big shops I'd need to leave it at home

hope your pain eases this afternoon GG, glad to hear your busy in the pub

and I'm glad the scan went well shanivy, sorry I missed the post, I swear there's 20 pages to read every day haha

Ah fuck sake OH does that too it's so irritating. Just greed and then he wonders why he runs out of stuff so quick it drives me mad. I think we're past the point of saying sorry for moaning hun. I hope you sort a switch out without paying out a small fortune . No worries about the post! This thread can move so quickly lol xx

Bump picture... Feels like it's growing. In my maternity uniforms at work now... To everyone on their second + babies... Do you think you get more tired when you're having a growth spurt/bump spurt?

Interested at all the car discussions... I'd love a new car but just had to sell mine to save money...OH has an old old ford focus that I'm worried isn't quite up to scratch.. Just spent almost £500 on repairs. Hopefully if we can buy a house in the next 12 months we can think about getting a better car.

JaneyJan you look fab! Is that dress from mothercare lol. I've just ordered something that looks exactly like it.

I definitely have periods where I'm more tired than usual, then times where I feel like I could do anything. Could certainly from growth spurt. I'm sure you have one just before 18 which would make perfect sense for you at the minute xx

Thanks Shan, yes it is from mothercare...I avoided going in there until a couple weeks ago... Not sure why, I think I thought I'd come out with half the store, but I'm so glad I did, stocked up on some maternity clothes and they're SO much more comfortable than H&M or ASOS stuff!

I usually cannot wear bodycon at all but it kind of suits a pregnant bump eh?! So I plan on enjoying it...

Didn't know you have growth spurts just before 18 weeks. Maybe that's why all the symptoms.

Well, today I should be known as twatbag. I ended up walking down the lane with the people who came to see Mickey as they rode him a bit. Horses walk fast, I know this, so quite why I went myself instead of sending Dan, I really don't know. By the time I got to the pub my pelvis and hip were hurting. Had the booked table in, then 14 walked in for rolls but I didn't know how many at first. Did 5 rolls then 10 minutes later they ordered loads more but I was inbthe middle of finishing the main meals so ended up calling Dan to come and help, lol.

Just been shopping and walked like a 90yr old in need of a hip replacement, lol. Tonight will be fun, lol.

Janey, I'm gutted for you you're getting all the crap again...that sucks. Baby is about to do a he'll of a lot of growing though!

JaneyJan u look fab! Rocking that bump hehe

Shan I'm sorry, you've caught that from me and oh having an argument haha although u wouldn't think we ever argued- spent basically all the time since giggling and had a great day today before he went to work at 1. Going to pick him up for 9 :)

Went shopping with my mum again which killed after a while but got soooo much baby stuff haha xx

We're all different Sarah. I'm 20+3 now and can still wear my normal clothes. I do have a noticeable bump but nothing like some of our lovely ladies in here. I have an anterior placenta so that may have something to do with it. Xx

So today was my first day off of 6 (which I have been so looking forward to) cause Work is draining me, and I wake up with a full on cold!!!!! Proper snot bag, no energy, coughing and acting all over!!! Bloody typical!!

But on the up side I managed to drag my arse out of bed have some crumpets and painted the baby cave!!! So now it’s just waiting for the gloss to dry give the carpet a good hoover then all furniture can be made up and I can see what we have left to buy (which I’m sure is nothing) !!

So started shit but ended really good! Just hope I can sleep some of this cold off so I can enjoy my other days off.

Sorry you're not feeling well Amy but fab that you got so much done. Putting me to shame though, lol

Laura I'm so glad you sorted everything with OH after all that. All good here too. Xx

Amy sounds like a very productive day. I feel for you though pregnacy colds are a bitch fx it passes quickly xx

Sarah baby is definitely not small. With dd I was tiny it all depends on the woman/weight/which pregnancy. Every pregnancy is different hun don't worry xx

GG hope your pain isn't too bad today lovely xx

Hope everyone has a nice Sunday tomorrow. Baby has been so active today. OH put his ear on my lower stomach tonight and got to feel baby kicking him which was lovely. Nice relaxing day for us tomorrow I think. Though I've got to do some photoshoot pics for my nursery project tomorrow haha.

Sounds like a lovely day you have planned tomorrow Shan. Pain manageable tonight as I kept sitting down. I normally come home at half 9 and pick Dan up at half twelve to 1 then he sorts the animals while I go to bed. Tonight I had a good but not manic night in the pub so did my Yorkshires, pigs in blankets and peeled my potatoes for roasties with regular breaks so just stayed to do that until 30 minutes ago.

It means that tomorrow, I will get time to have proper sit down breaks during the morning while I cook as the three most time consuming, easy, but time consuming things are done. Won't know what to do with myself tomorrow, lol.

Laura, I'm so glad you've cleared the air with love and giggles...perfect. and successful mum time too...on a roll!

Bed time for me now. Night ladies xxx

Thanks that's made me feel better, I do love my little bump that's developing I had to buy some maternity jeans on Friday, over the bump I went for soooooo comfy!

My skin is really getting me down at the mo I even have really bad spots all over my back, I hate it, I'm even trying to hide it from my OH. Nothing seems to be helping that I try

Hope you all have a good Sunday xx

aw Sarah I had such bad spot on my back in tri1. it was gross and nothin helped, it's just hormones

Amy sounds like you had a great day yesterday getting stuff done

hope you have a good day in the pub GG and do actually manage to get some rest

quiet day here I think, hoping husband is going to get his jobs done and have a few hours in the house. our utility room needs some organising and it's all his outdoor clothing so I don't dare try and sort it without him. need a food shop to

car is costing £450 :'( great.

felt baby loads which was lovely, oh and I cuddled up to watch a film, I put his hand on but he didn't feel it. can you second timers remember when they start to hiccup? I know it's too early now but I remember DD used to hiccup loads towards the end

Morning Sarah and Shep.

Gosh, I'd love to just feel a decent kick, lol. Hiccups must be amazing to feel.
I'm sat on my arse having a brew and biscuits. I normally do this at this point anyway as nothing can go in with the pork while the oven is so hot to start the crackling. This morning though, knowing that I've literally saved myself about 2 hours of work, I'm really chilling out and not giving a flying you know what (see, I can stop myself swearing, lol).

Got to sleep some time after 3am. Just couldn't switch off last night at all. No idea why, just wasn't even remotely tired. Got up easily enough at 7 so a bit of a lie in as Dan does the horses a but later on a Sunday so I don't have to worry and he doesn't have to get up too early.

I'm in the, "best get used to functioning on bugger all sleep anyway" mindframe today so all is good:)

Oh...and for those worried about bumps, here's mine at 20+4. I'm a size 14 anyway and these are my normal size 14 jeans, still comfortable enough to be in all day but I am wearing some maternity tops now.
Not anything near as big as most this far along so I guess it's due to the anterior placenta and baby has been head down since somewhere between 12 and 17 weeks. It doesn't worry me as I'm getting so many scans and keep seeing perfect growth each time.
