Hi everyone,
I have been having issues getting on, congratulations to everyone who have had scans and found out the sex of baby.

I am half way today so excited, had my 20 week scan and everything was brilliant and we stayed team yellow x

So glad everything went well, Unicorn... another sling though?! How many have you got now lol?

Welcome Dani and Charlene!

I've started to feel baby's movements loads more, which is reassuring!
Have got my next scan on Friday so should hopefully find out the sex!
Have made a list of things we need to get that we don't have left over from last time, so might make a start on it after this scan! So exciting!!

Great news Unicorn! What slings have you got? I'm so indecisive!

I had a 16 week midwife app and they said my next will be 24 weeks.

Ttc mine did that on the 16 week scan! Chin to chest and feet in face.. They did say
It's a boy though. At my midwife app he kept moving away from the doppler and then kicked it

We're going with Hendrix for our little boy.
We've got 3 slings now, a stretchy moby, a non stretchy hug a bub and a structured mei tai, so all different
That's it now for slings until we visit the sling library!
Picked up our changing bag yesterday xx

Hey felt a bit down I just went to the nurse to get my blood pressure checked because I had massive migraine for four days, and im on meds that can cause high blood pressure. When I was in the waiting room one nurse said what a lovely bump I had and then when I went to see the nurse I had my appointnent with she said how tiny i was and my bump and she weighed me! Then she said I need to see the midwife about my weight. I know I am very little I was below 100lbs when I found out I was pregnant. The meds I take cause weight loss so putting on weight is such a huge struggle im now really concerned my baby isn't growing! I have my 20 week scan and see the obs on Tuesday but I felt so deflated and upset. On the up her scales said I had put on weight so I'm pleased about that but now all these thoughts are in my head about the size of the baby.

I'm sorry Redbootz, that's not helpful at all is it!? Tuesday isn't long to wait and I'm sure you'll see that baby is growing just fine. Sounds like an excuse to eat as much cake as you can to me
I'm on a role, we are completely done with clothes buying as well now, we have all the essentials and some lovely dungaree sets etc but know we will get loads from other people as well.
On not so good news front, my back is KILLING me! Just on the right side on the very base of my back. I'm so uncomfortable It definitely helps to rest it but by the end of the day I am in agony! I thought yoga would help but I think it may be making it worse. I've tried contacting my consultant today to request a referral to a physio but I left it a bit late, I will try again tomorrow xx

Try not to panic redbootz, our babies are still pretty small at the moment. Have you had any scans so far? They probably would have seen already if the baby was measuring small.. Also if you're petite, you may have passed that on to baby. Good luck for tuesday xx

I'm sorry I haven't had time to catch up on all the posts but just wanted to pop in and say I have had my scan and I am having another little girl! X I'm so happy x promise I will catch up soon I've been so busy lately x

Congrats on the girl Charliebump! that's what i am praying for exactly 2 weeks till i find out!

Thanks Unicorn and Lou1103 I shall try not to worry about it. I think the baby is growing as the kicks are so strong! The only scans I had were at 11 and 13 weeks and they said all looked normal for what they would expect at that time. So I will wait for the 20 week scan and hopefully all will be ok, so anxious about it. Only a few days to go! Unicorn I tried yoga once and pulled a muscle within the first ten mins I didn't go back. I do have a Pilates ball and do gentle exercises with that to help with hip and back pain. Also I just sit on it in the evenings. I had a group physio session that was helpful. Hopefully you can get referred.

Congratulations CharlieBump, have you thought of any names?

We're having a nice quiet weekend, which is helping my back. My consultant has referred me for physio so just waiting for that. Still being sick and totally off food, and experiencing quite a bit of cramp, just like period cramps, do other people get this? xx

I am so paranoid about getting to 24 weeks it's really upsetting me, anyone else feeling anxious x
