* * .. July 2013 Mummy's .. * *

Awww babybump...look after yourself hun. They will get your water infection under control and you'll be feeling better in no time. My friend suffered with many water infections during pregnancy...they are not nice at all. Plenty of that bloody awful cranberry juice will help too xxx

Hello July mummies. Just popping in to say hi, hardly get a minute to look on here these days. Hope those of you waiting don't need to wait much longer. Must be horrible to be heavily pregnant in this heat. I just missed it. That was all, just sending hugs xxx

Hi Kay Kay!! Hope you are doing well hun :) this weather isn't great but with my desk fan and paddling pool I am surviving cant speak for the other girls though!!

The sun is making me soooo sleepy I wonder if its doing the same to the babies and that's why they are all staying put, im not even due yet I actually think I might turn into some sort of maniac after Friday!!! xxx

I just had curry a really hot one I'm not sure if I'm sweating from the heat or the curry lol I don't normally eat citrus that spicey even hubby said wow that's got a kick even hotter than my biyriani was tasty tho. Just sweating it out baby is kicking n wriggling away but I don't know if that's because of curry or what lol also did an hr walk today and bounced on ball come on baby I know u got 9days till due but u only have 3 till my original d day before they changed it so I'm ready lol x

Oooh fingers crossed K8! Hope the spice gets baby moving! Thanks Kay Kay hope you are well too hun and little Matthew is coping well in this weather.

I just spent 40minutes bouncing on the ball...but not one single contraction/period pain to report tonight...

I read a post on the post pregnancy forum earlier and they were saying how much they missed their bumps, so I'm going to enjoy the rest of the time I have little Ollie in my tummy and not fret about evicting him. :) xx

warning this is a massive rant!!!!!.....

grrrr I am sooooo mad right now!!!! bloody inlaws!!!!! so as most of you probably know from my many many rants hubbys parents live in Spain. They are obviously coming over for the arrival of the baby and are staying with one of hubbys sisters.

so when they were talking about booking flights I suggested that they wait until I go into labour at which point we could ring them and they could get the next available flight over, they decided not to do this but to book a one way flight on my due date (fair enough their choice!).

both of hubbys sisters decided they would pay for their return flight, his eldest sister text me earlier asking when I would be induced if I went over so I replied saying I wouldn't get the date until a week on Tuesday but the latest would be the 2nd august. Anyway iv had another couple of messages 1 saying they have booked the flight for the 9th august and the other asking if we would like to contribute towards the flight!!!!!!!

I think its really unfair on hubbys parents if I do go over they will only get a few days with the baby and as stupid as it may sound I feel really under pressure to not go late so they get as much time with the baby but if I do go 2 weeks over I will feel really awful for the inlaws!!!!

sorry that may not make any sense!! xxx

It's not ur fault u haven't booked the flight and to be fair its not ur place to contribute its not ur fault they live there and not ur fault sis offered to pay I would ring sis and explain how little mat pay reallt is as most people seem to think u get paid loads to be off when I tell them how much it is and that last thre months unpaid they soon be quiet. And that u really can't afford the extra expense right now say it kindly and say how when u have the money u will go visit but u don't have the luxury right now. Don't feel under any pressure they knew and know the consequences also I'm sure they are aware that being induced on a set date doesn't mean ul be having the baby that day as it can take days and that it can mean u have to stay in longer afterwards depending on what if any intervention was needed /c section so it isn't as straight forward. Gosh I feel quite mean I don't want any visitors the first week as is a special time for just me n hubby and baby if I do feel up to visitors I can always let them know.

Baby active but not even a bh! And that's with bouncing on ball too lol baby is comfy ur right we should try n enjoy the time they have in there we have waited this long x

cant sleep :( soo much pressure and lots of Braxton hicks and she's very wriggley. Hate not knowing whats happening x

Thanks k8 iv calmed down a bit now, I told her we couldn't contribute towards the flight as we couldn't afford it her response was that's fine just didn't want you to feel left out!! Anyway they have booked it its out of my hands and baby will come when it's ready not a lot I can do!!

I had the worst night sleep woke up at 3:30 and my back and pelvis were killing me didn't get back to sleep until gone 5:30. I was thinking whilst I was laying here what is it about your bump that you miss as I have been told by lots of people that you do miss it at the moment all I can see is it makes me hot and uncomfortable but I suppose its things like feeling your baby move and having such a close connection with them!

Like you say wev waited this long we should just enjoy it after all we are all very lucky to be in this position xxx

Hello laddies :) tomorrow I will be 38 weeks and for about a week now when I wake up in the morning I have terrible muscle ache near my waist/back (side abs). Do any of you also have this? I think it might be because my belly is getting so heavy that it 'pulls' at my muscles when I sleep on my side.

Besides that nothing special to mention. Having a lazy day after cleaning the entire house yesterday.

Hope everyone is well.

I suffer with my back and in the last couple of weeks my pelvis is also hurting! At my antenatal classes the physiotherapist said laying on your side can pull on ligaments due to the weight of your bump she suggested sleeping with a pillow under your bump to help support your ligaments xx

Hey girls just popping on to say a quick hello while Noah sucks the hell outta me :( ouch!!

No more babas yet then!????

hey hun!!! lovely to hear from you, its very quiet on here now Noah has arrived :)

No more babies unfortunately they are such a lazy bunch, perhaps they know how hot it is on the outside so are staying put!!!

So basically what your telling us is the pain from your back, pelvis, hips and everywhere else goes and heads straight for your boobs? great lol!!!

Ah bless him wonder what it could be at least you will be seeing midwife soon so she can put your mind at rest!

How is your swelling Dani have your ankles returned to a normal size? I am desperate to get my wedding ring and engagement ring back on but one of my friends said it took her 5-6 weeks before all the water retention was gone :( im not looking forward to being fat for no reason but I cannot wait to have my baby in my arms xxxx

Hey babyslog...ooo ouch boobies sound sore! Hope mw arrives soon to put ur mind at rest!

Well girls i thought i was nesting before but omg today im cleaning like a crazy lady lol. Anyone else been like that? Hopin.itsa sign

Dani definitely get yourself some nipple shields. I've got the medela ones & they have literally saved me! I cant really feed without them tbh. The midwives don't like you using them but they are a godsend!

Nipple shield can cause breast/bottle confusion making the ba not get used to the breast properly. Perhaps a lactation consultant can help you out, cracked nipples is not good and it could come from all things (usually batch latch on).

I sleep wi a pillow (one of those feeding cushions) to support my belly and get some weight of my knees but I still get the pain, during the night I apparently ditch the pillow and wake up in pain :(

My LO has no problem with nipple confusion, he feeds from the nipple, the shields & a bottle teat, and has a dummy if he's being unsettled too. Originally we used them because my nipples were too small to get to the back of his mouh so he wasn't suckling properly - we were actaully recommended them by a breast feeding consultant

Nipple confusion is extemely rare & if it means that you can continue to breastfeed for longer than I believe its worth it.

Also dani, make sure you slather on lanisoh before & after every feed, it really helps!
