Just an update...
Im no longer breast feeding! I managed to hand express from my right boob 1oz for him but it was so painful to do. The nipple is horrendous!
N cos he was still constantly feeding from me left side thats now got reskly sore n is heading in same direction. I dread the next feed, ive been crying cos i didnt wanna give up but he just is to demanding on the boob for md to keep up. I had about 5hrs sleep since thurs.. So lastnight we made the choice and went and bought formula. Hes taken to bottle amazing a bit sicky but was expected cos of thd change over. He slept smazing lastnight only wsking up for 2feeds!! Feel much better about it.
But i have 2 midwifes coming today.. Mine to do the prick test n daily vist plus the breast feeding one that weighed noah yest n advised about me expressing.
Im scared what attitude she will have to be just giving up!
Hes had 5 days on solid breast feeding,
He only lost 4.6% so it shows he was being fed great! Just dnt aant some wonen coming here tellinv me i made s bad choice!
Ive tried thr medela shields but im so sore i can still feel it! Feel like a wuss cos i gave birth but cant breast feed!! It feels like he has teeth already lol!!
Im truely gutted but it really is to much, he was feeding nearly every hr for 30/40mins.. Hd was defo taking in thr milk cos he also likes to fill his nappy nearly every hr aswell lol!!
Ive got a greedy baba!! But slept brill lastnight on fomula! No tears!! Xxx

Youv done amazingly to do 5 days hun no wonder you were so sore if he was only taking from one boob!! I definitely think youv made the right decision!! I'm sure the breastfeeding midwife will be fine they are there to help not to judge so if she tries to judge tell her to nob off! Pleased you got a better night last night

Every baby and every mummy is different well done for doing so well and giving it a go despite the pain. Those who say anything negative are wrong I am a strong believer in doing what feels right for you and your baby and if formula works for you then good I. Hope that you don't get grief of mw for your choice as that isn't fair you should be pleased that he is healthy and just take it easy now because as long as he is happy and you are both healthy then that is all that matters xxx
