That's so rubbish Sprout you could sense how calm you were Hope everything looks up at the next scan so you can move forward as planned xx

Hopefully they will help ease your mind Millie Laura. Anxiety is horrible, especially in pregnancy as you literally feel you have no control!

Growth scans are a bugger Sprout, I'm not sure how much I believe with them tbh so try not to worry. They said at out last baby had a 38week head and 32week legs which I'm pretty sure classes him as a form of dwarf, but when you look over all at him he's clearly not so I haven't taken much notice. Also depends on if they are in a good enough position to get a decent reading. Fluid levels confused me but I'm sure if it was a worry you wouldn't of been sent on your way.

Pooing in labour is my worst nightmare, as my pregnancy pops have been awful !!! Tmi sorry haha.

How are you feeling about tomorrow Laura? Has the excitement hit yet or still nerves?

I'm off to have a bath... I've been having contractions for the past few days now, definitely lost most if not all of my bloody plug but putting off calling maternity until I know something for certain after the horrible midwife I encountered the other day. OH is convinced baby is going to make an appearance any day now as leaves for work each morning saying 'il either see you here later or at the hospital yeah' haha. Hope every one else is ok? Sorry if I've missed any updates xxxxxxx

Feeling quite relaxed at the moment thanks, Abi, but I think i'll be a bit up and down all day between nerves and relaxed! I'm just washing any last bits for the hospital bag (well, the washing machine is whilst I lie in bed with the cat)! I didn't sleep so well last night though, so I'm just going to catch up on sleep today hopefully.

I thought losing your plug meant birth was imminent, like within 24 hours. Shows how much I know! I've had BH a lot, but the babies don't seem in any hurry to come out on their own. In fact, today, I can feel two bums really high up by ribs. Hope they wriggle back down a bit! xx

I thought that was the case too! But apparently it can be days, even weeks before baby appeared from loosing the plug. Tap their bottoms and if they are anything like Squigg they will wiggle away from you lol take it easy today! xxx

They've wiggled down again. I'm trying to find out what time to go to hospital tomorrow and they seem really disorganised! I have finally been told to speak with head midwife, but I can't get hold of her so waiting for her to call back. I hope she calls soon!

Yeah I think when it's your first one, the stages of pre-labor and labor can take longer and slower. After your first one things move along faster I think.

I've been using evening primrose oil capsules to help prepare cervix as read like raspberry leaf tea they help prepare but don't start labour so can take from now. Been inserting one on an eve and must of been a particularly oily one lol but I was leaking all morning and night much more than usual. Had a big nap and it's stopped just feel damper so I think it was the oil not waters but keeping an eye on it as she isn't engaged so I don't want them to of gone. Got my growth scan tomorrow so I'm hoping she has grown well!
I was up most of the night with really sore regular braxton hicks but then they stopped. Glad because I'm only 35 weeks today but at the same time if that keeps happening then it's such a tease lol!! Xxx

The midwife called back and said the neonatal unit is really full at the moment, and if they don't have two incubators free just in case, they will have to delay a day or two. BOOOOO. Really hoping they have the space, but I won't know until tomorrow.

Soooo cute, Blueflower! I've got the same hedgehog set in the hospital bag for my two! Glad you're home now, I bet it's lovely being back.

I still don't know what's happening today. I just rang and they said to go in for a CTG at maternity triage (oh joy) and then they'll see what "the plan" is. I have a strong feeling they will tell me to go home and come back in the next few days, at which point I might kill them because I'm really not in the mood to be messed around! Haven't slept well for days (4 hours last night), awful heartburn and nausea and I just want to know what's going on.
