***January 2017 mummies!*** 3rd Trimester

It's like the only twin carrier that I could find and I had to order it from Germany or the US. I wonder why they don't make more of them. I sent a photo of it to MIL and said it was for OH Christmas present, and her response was "darling it took me a while to figure out what that is, I thought it looked a bit risque and wasn't sure what to think!"

blueflower definitely spend a day resting, it can make a world of difference to how you feel and hopefully to the swelling.

millielaura typical that she started wriggling around when you got to hospital! I had the monitoring thing the other day, and heart rates alarmed me a bit they were jumping all over the place between around 130-180, wouldn't keep still. The midwife assured me that it's normal and they weren't worried about that. My twin 2 (that hasn't moved much all week) has moved back to head up, I'm pretty sure, as I'm feeling her way more and there's a definite head bulge under my ribs.

Rhiandell good to hear from you and glad little Olof and Erik are doing so well! Real relief, and it's making me want mine here NOW! Jealous of all the cuddles you must be getting xx

Imogens were going up to about 190 then down to 90ish but they got a good trace when she calmed down where she was around 130-160 which they were happy with :)
I did have two glasses of coke to try get her to move earlier on this eve so that may of send her a bit crazy haha!

Glad you can feel twin 2 more :) head under ribs hurts though !
I have horrid pain whenever I lean forward atm, under my ribs, there must be limbs up there lol wish she would move lots again and move them haha!

Lol at mils text hahahah!! Xx

Blueflower my ankles are a nightmare now ! Always puffy & my fingers especially in the mornings! I'm a typical nurse though & as I'm not being seen till 36 weeks I'm monitoring my own blood pressure lol!

Millie glad your little tinker was all ok. X

Anyone else getting achy in their lady bits the pelvic bits? I'm wondering if one of the twinnies has moved a little lower as mines become quite uncomfortable & last night struggled laying on either side as was painful under my bump!

Achey in the lady bits and pelvic area forever now. I think if heads are lower it definitely makes it that bit worse though! You are soo close, remind me, are you having a csection or induction? I have an awful memory. xx

Ah good, I was wondering as they get bigger if it'll just be a normal occurrence as they are both head down!
It's crazy how fast these weeks are going! They didn't really discuss at my 32 weeks apart from saying we will aim for. Atural delivery but they would talk about induction dates etc at my 36 week scan and appointment! I hope it's soon after that, I'm not sure I could go to 38 weeks I'm struggling now ! X

God I think time is draaaaaging! I wanted to get an induction date in last time, as they said I could book a section if I wanted one but we decided to try for induction and they said "we can just do that with 2 day's notice" so no date for me which was disappointing! I just know it'll be before 30 December. I guess yours might be about the same time because I'll be 36-37 weeks for mine. xx

It's fine frustrating isn't it! Hoping mine will be the week before Christmas I'll be 37 weeks by then as I don't want to go past 38 which is Boxing Day!!

Eek so much potential for Christmas babies with you twin Mummies!

I'm a zombie today, poor Pops is still going through the ringer and was up with an earache half the night..No Calpol in the cupboard (bad Mummy) so quick dash to the garage and then the only thing (apparently) for it was snuggles with me at 2am watching "I'm a Celebrity.."

Just cannot be bothered to do anything today but I have 2 very messy guinea pigs to attend to!

Twin carrier looks so so cute - I love a man in a baby carrier - always melts my heart!

Has anyone had pain on top of their bump/under ribs?
I had bad BH's all night that were sore and then all morning had a constant pain under my bump thats worse on breathing in. Thinking maybe her position? But omg its so sore! Xx

Yes Millie my baby's all over the place at the moment and keeps getting something stuck under my ribs.. I also had some sharp twingey pains yesterday and in general I'm just really tender.. Braxton hicks are hurting but I think it's just because my stomach muscles are sore so when they tighten it's uncomfortable.. I'm really not worried personally, I'm just getting all flustered as I cannot get comfortable! Feel your pain sweet, you're definitely not alone :) x

Had some paracetemol as its getting worse. Hope it's just her position. Its not waves of pain or anything like that so I'm not worried its prem labour but its soo painful :( just hope she moves asap if its her position xxx

Yes I had that! But only a few times and not for prolonged periods. Kind of like a lightening pain for me under the ribs. I assumed it was someone's feet kicking around where I don't want them :) or ligaments stretching. Who knows. Hope it eases off though, mine didn't last long when I had it.

The wardrobe men are here building nursery wardrobe :D

It's still here.. paracetemol did help a little though. Having a lie down and thenin case its stomach or constipation related will try fybogel and then will have bath in a bit and if still bad will think about phoning. Xxx

Oh bless you Millie you've had it all thrown at you haven't you! I honestly remember my first pregnancy being an absolute breeze.. Must have my rose tinted glasses on I'm sure it wasn't all that easy! xx

Millie, sounds like it could be gastric related. When it was the worst for me it was just constant burning pain below my ribs.
I feel for you having to stay hooked up to the monitor for that long. Was like that for me too because it was absolutely impossible to get both twins to stay still at the same time. Getting ten minutes trace could take two hours. And when I was in hospital they wanted to do I twice a day.

Laura, I understand you're longing for them. Cuddles are amazing. We have skin to skin a few hours every day. It's amazing. But I do hope your girls stay inside as long as possible. :-)

Sorry that I still haven't managed pictures. Schedule is a bit crazy at the moment. Trying to figure out how to get time for going back and forth to the hospital, pumping and then fitting to my mum's meal schedule, because it's so important to her to have routines.

Yes you're right, I know it's best they stay in and I don't mean to sound insensitive to say I want them out, I'm just the most impatient person and crap with enduring any kind of suffering and nine months is feelling like a blooming lifetime! xx

Sounds painful Millie. I have pain around my right rib most of the time but it's worse after eating so must be where my stomach swells. My bra fits in the morning but by the evening I have red marks underneath. :(

I'm not in any hurry for my twins to be born! Still got loads to do!

Can't your mum be a bit flexible Lisa? You have enough to juggle!

Had a nice relaxing day, drove over to see my friend 45 minutes along the coast, sat chatting with our feet up and her husband made us a delicious lunch. Then drove home as the sun sank below the Downs, wonderful! :)

Sounds like a lovely day, blueflower! Good on you for getting out and about so much still as well.

Does anyone else think about their babies like 24/7? I feel like such a bore but it's the only thing on my mind all of the time more or less. When I wake up in the night, I'll have been dreaming about something relating to them as well. I sort of can't focus on other things. Maybe I need to get stuck into a good book or something to give myself other things to think about!

Have tried 2 cups of fybogel and some juice and don't think it's stomach related. Have put ice on though so its ok now when lying down but if I sit up it hurts a lot to breathe! Is that like yours Blueflower? Tried to go on all fours to move her in case it's her lay against there but its not helping.

I do too Laura. But it scares me because it makes me so so scared of something happening too her when she is my life already! Xx

Mine isn't that bad Millie. Have you tried the yoga position that gets her out of your ribs?

I have loads to do before the babies come such as catching up with people and any Christmas shopping I can't do online. Next week will be the more sedentary things on my list and people can come to me!

I think about the babies a lot but sometimes forget about them for a while if I am watching TV or comfy or something and then I see my bup and remember!!
