***January 2017 mummies!*** 3rd Trimester

Oh gosh Lisa I can't even imagine what I'd do in your position.. What does your husband think, is he happy for you to travel and be taking the risk? I suppose it's making sure you've got the medical support you need as soon as you're back in Sweden.. What a conundrum! I'm so glad babies have a little longer in there though to get nice and strong :) Hope you're feeling ok in yourself, glad you're being monitored so closely xxx

Oh, that's a relief that the babies can stay in a bit longer...it must feel strange thinking you were going to meet them today though and then not having it happen?

Oh wow Lisa that is such a roller coaster ride! I'm glad you are okay and babies can stay in a little longer! Wew! How stressful! :hugs:

Kate, my husband really wants me back in Sweden. I think it's become almost a magical charm to him. As long as I and the babies are safe in another country nothing else matters. He's aware of the risk of course, but right now we're both unsure how big they are. The first doctor made it sound like I would have a stroke if I set foot on a plane, but the guy last night have previously said that flying in itself is not dangerous because it's such a short flight.

Sprout, it does feel strange and a little disappointing. But trying to focus on the fact that the longer they stay the better.

Btw, is anyone else having trouble with the app Tapatalk? It doesn't work at all for me anymore. Wondering if it's the app itself or just PF.

Sounds so frustrating Lisa, but big relief that the twins can stay cooking for a little while longer. Thinking of you xx

Gosh you must feel really pulled from pillar to post with all the different opinions! I'm glad to hear they can cook a bit longer, and that blood looks better. Do what makes you most comfortable. xx

Oh bless you both.. I can imagine he wants you all safe in Sweden.. must be so unnerving having such varying opinions from the doctors. Whatever you decide you'll be doing what is best for you and the babies so just be strong and go with your gut. You're in my thoughts..

How are you Thumbs? Are you home from New York? Hope you had a great time..

I suddenly feel all excited and jittery, I think it's a combination of Christmas decorations sprouting up, the weather turning cold, the baby wriggling away, I just love this time of year and cannot wait for newborn snuggles :)

Glad the babies are staying in for a bit longer hon, look after yourself as well x

Kate me too ! I'm a bit nervous about babies arriving but I'm starting to get more excited about it than nervous and about meeting them & im the same love this time of year, birthday then Christmas and all the crispy cold weather too. X

Got out this afternoon for the first time since the weekend! Very slowly and didn't go far, I did a bit of a cafe hop with a friend and popped into Primark to buy clothes for my hospital bag. Two enormous nighties that button down and some granny pants that give Bridget Jones a run for her money :)

Wonder if I have the same nightie lol mines a stripey mini mouse one! It's so comfy :) is the only thing that fits me atm!

I didn't sleep till 6am last night. I'm on omeprazole for heartburn as well as my gaviscon but it's still been horrid at night. Then I had my anti d injection this afternoon and it was so warm in there. They told me to wait ten mins after and after about 5 mins I started feeling really hot and faint. I had to open the door and burst in on another woman having hers done to tell the mw I was gonna faint. Ended up sat on the floor, they got me back in the waiting room and I was sick in front of everyone! So mortifying lol. Had a lie down on the day unit for a while and they said it seemed like just the heat as I'd been hot. Think part of it was the fact I was so so tired too lol. Xxx

Oh no, that sounds horrible! Are you feeling ok now?

I'm sat here reminiscing about my daughter's birth as 2 years ago I was in the birthing pool about to meet her (at 00:18, so just about the 12th) It's making me so excited for this birth but sad at how fast those 2 years have gone!

I'm feeling ok, had a nap but then had a bath and feeling sicky again lol! I definitely don't do well on lack of sleep haha I hope Imogen sleeps well ha!

Aww that's so exciting Sprout! :) happy birthday to your daughter! I would love a water birth xx

Thanks for asking Kate :-) Had a wonderful time and back safely now. I'm so glad I took a chance and made the trip as I had a lovely birthday weekend, but it was definitely right at the limit of what I could handle - feeling very pregnant now so won't be travelling again. Have already cancelled my final work trip which would have been at 32 weeks in a few weeks time, as it'll just be too much xx

Went for my appointment, everything is good. :) T.J. is measuring a good size, I'm not good with numbers but doctor said the number was good so that's all I need to know. LOL! Everything is good with me, blood sugar is good, no diabetes, blood pressure is good despite what's going on with Trump. LOL Doctor is pleased with how well things are going especially for my age. So that's good. :)

Ahh Sprout that's lovely :) I always clock the time at 20:18 on Poppy's Birthday and have a little smile to myself :) Amazing how vividly we can remember it all! Happy Birthday to your little one, hope she has a fantastic day.

Mille that sounds truly awful you poor thing! Hope you're feeling better soon - what a little ordeal!

That's wonderful Thumbs - so glad you had a good time. Good call - 32 weeks feels a bit close for comfort for me - i'm nervous about being an hour down the road for Christmas haha!

That's great Papermoon, glad everything is checking out with you and T.J. :) xx

Lovely to hear everyone's good news! Apart from Millie, that sounds really rough :( hope you're feeling a bit better now? Lack of sleep really can exacerbate horrible symptoms. Hope you slept better last night.

Waterbirth sounds amazing Sprout, it's what I'd have wanted but hospital here don't allow it with twins. Will you be doing the same again?

Glad you're back safely Thumbs and had a good time! 32 weeks would've been extremely tough going, think you made a good choice there!

Well done Papermoon on passing it all with flying colours! Takes a load off your mind, doesn't it?

Thanks Kate and Laura! Yup, it's a relief! :)
Happy birthday to your kid Sprout! :)

What are others doing on this horrible rainy day? Not sure what to do with myself..

Just travelled back to visit the parents so will probably head out to a cafe with my Mum and my girl :) I'm really in the mood for a good film though so might have a movie night later - fancy watching Billy Elliott for some reason! xx
