Eeeekkkk my waters have gone..... in bed.... yuk.

What do I do? Lol. No pains but feel the need to poo a bit and I'm quite gassy.

Will they make me come in at this time?

I'm not due till 29 Jan and so far, other than a few intense Braxton and a bit of plug loss a few days back, cervix is still firmly shut (confirmed by obstetrician examination today).

So I may be the last one here!

Very exciting to see all the new arrivals. Congrats to all!

I hate not knowing for sure but think my waters went at 4am as well. I got up to go to the toilet and liquid just came gushing out I couldn't stop it. Think I saw some plug in loo from my 1am trip as well.

Had a couple of really painful period type cramps since then but no tightenings of my belly so I don't know if this is it or not!!! Now feel like I need to do a number 2 (sorry) so might go sit on the loo or wander around a bit as can't see me getting back to sleep now. Haven't woken OH yet as don't want to worry him if it's nothing! EKE!!! x

Oh and I've been a complete wuss with the pains I have had so am now thinking im going to be completely crap in actual proper labour lol!

If you think it was your waters you should ring your labour ward to get checked out. They don't like to leave you too long once your waters have broken! With my first LO my waters broke at 06:45 and I had baby by 15:15 with no medical help to bring labour along. Xx

Baby Beatrice is here. Very quick for us. Waters went at 2.45. Got to hospital at 5am and she arrived at 6.45. Only had gas and air and TENS. Very happy that it was quick and baby is an absolute beauty.

No weight yet as my notes went awol.

So happy to update that Laura (taboo) has had a baby boy!!

Caleb Harris Wiseman born at 7.21am, 9lbs. She did so well with only paracetemol and g&a. He didn't hang around as she was already 8cm by the time they got to the hospital!!

Awaiting a pic! Funny because we referred to Pea as a girl all along. Congrats bump buddy xxx

Huge, huge congrats to Katy, Nat and Taboo. Can't wait for the pics from Katy and Taboo, and Nat, Beatrice is a little beauty. Yay for a quick labour too after your mammoth one with James.

Katy, hope you got some sleep in the end hun. It's so difficult to sleep on a labour ward isn't it!!

Hi all. Thank you for all the thoughts. Sorry for the long absence and this short message - I am on my phone in hospital. I finally had a little boy at 107 yesterday. No name as yet. Triage agreed to see me in the end and promptly diagnosed preeclampsia. Was unable to keep anything down so was put on a fluid drip. No progress after many hours and ARM meant I started the induction drip anyway. Long story short we ended up with an emergency forceps delivery in theatre. It wouldnt have been my first choice but he is here safe and well.
