I wish I could get on board with some of this nesting - house is a mess but too tired/uncomfortable to be motivated to do much about it!

To be honest I had my four year old doing a lot of the work!!! I'm a bit naughty and tend to push past the pain a bit. Still not finished but I figure I'll relax when it's done and my body will know it's time for labour wishful thinking!!

OH been building the flatpack (as and when with work) and ive been reorganising.

I've also been batch cooking like mad and doing loads of laundry. Only thing I can't face is hoovering. We have 26 stairs (last place was a flat on one floor now we have 3 floors). Floor mopping can wait until after due date as well.

OH is off tomorrow so the plan is to take James to a bigger park and tire him out then we'll go for tea and cake. We went out on James' due date for 'high tea' so its a tradition now. Maybe I should go for a curry lol.

Hey, I just realised its my due date today, lol!

I was way too tired/unwell/busy with toddler to do much nesting but I did get a sudden urge to get things done the day I went into labour and was a bit of a mad woman doing all the bits and pieces that I wanted done before baby came so I'm thinking there is something in the nesting thing.

I have been having pains this afternoon but have no idea if it is leading to anything!!

Going to see if there is a pattern or not-feel like painful period like cramps and bump tightening-hoping if they are not actually contractions that they are at least heading me in the right direction!

Feel so emotional tonight knowing the induction is in the morning !
I'm just scared I wish my mum was here and not over in Ireland. She's so proud messaging everyone as she's so excited and this keeps giving me a big lump in my throat. I just miss her and I'm scared and I know I'm being so pathetic hahaha. 26 years of age first baby and just nervous! I hope it goes ok, I hope baby is ok and normal and healthy. And I hope I don't kill my husband too much during labour haha xxx

Quickly popping by to wish congratulations to those ladies who have now had their babies and good luck to those people still waiting. Yellowglass, hope it goes well tomorrow.

Baby is doing well, has recovered from most of his weight loss since having a tongue tie operation. Things proving stressful at home but hopefully I will have the courage to deal with it. Xx

Good luck tomorrow YG. I know you must be feeling so afraid and missing your mummy but you'll be fine hun.

You can do this and you will do this. You'll be meeting your baby very soon and then it will all make sense.

Good luck for tomorrow Yellowglass, sounds like what your feeling is completely normal, hopefully once things actually get going you'll feel better.

Good to hear baby is doing well now TC, sorry to hear things are stressful at home.

I just lost my plug, and since then have had a few terribly painful BH - much more painful than anything I've had already. Been feeling dreadful this evening - headache, really severe heartburn, so in spite of all my recent complaining actually a big part of me hopes this isn't the beginning of something happening, but wondering if the feeling like crap might actually be an early labour thing?
