Well I have plucked and pruned! I now have two eyebrows, carefully removed what looked like wooly tights and strimmed the remaining amazon forest back to reveal a much tidier lady garden! Come on baby, this is the best mummy is going to look for a long while!

Happy due date Nat! I was convinced I was going to be sitting waiting with you this week! To be honest after birth I spent the first couple of days in a bit of a state of shock that baby was here. Its starting to settle in a bit more now. Cant believe baby is almost a week old!

I've lost count of who is in labour now? spallerina, yellowglass and buzz all have something going on?

Yep buzz, YG and Spallerina have something going on.

Buzz was really suffering so I hope they agreed to let her come in (and I hope she had made good progress. It bought it all back to me.... I hated my early labour last time)

Guess I'm going to have to try and help this baby along. I did mention to OH that I may need his help - wink, wink. Neither of us are keen on the idea though lmao.

Oh, and we finally have a name: Tomas. It took us a few days. It really took us off guard him being early and we couldnt really get our heads around a name for the first couple of days.

Nat, I felt the same about getting down to it with hubby. The thought of it just put me off but once we got started it was fine and dare I say it, we both actually enjoyed it lol. I think the anticipation was worse as I felt so big and uncomfortable.

Happy to keep posting in here until everyone has had baby and then start a new thread. Makes sense so we're not cross posting across two threads xx

Hi! I had my baby girl by elective C section on 16th
Maisie Alice weighing 6lbs 9oz!

Congratulations to all those who had also had their babies and good luck to those still waiting!

By all means Jolly set up a thread sweetie.

Ceecee they wont sweep at my hospital until 41w. I have an appointment booked for next Tuesday (they booked this weeks ago) and it will just cancel if I have baby.

I'd be given an induction date next week as well.

Still plenty of time for it to happen so I'm not too worried.

I missed my 41w appointment with James as I was in early labour by then

So tonight my little beauty was born at 8.33pm after a 24hour labour that ended in a c-section. We have a gorgeous baby boy who weighed 8lb 3oz and we have named him Rafferty Liam.
I started off at home around 7.30pm on the Tens machine but was very quickly have contractions 4 minutes apart.I went to the birthing centre just before 11pm.On first assessment I was 3cm and my waters broke-unfortunatly there was a trace of meconium in the waters. I laboured well there contracting every 2 minutes before Being transferred by Ambulance to Leicester Royal Infirmary at 4.30am. After contracting every 2 Mins for 10 hours I was exhausted but had got to 8cm by 10am.I decided to have an epidural,but then things just didn't progress and I never dialated anymore.They tried me on a hormone drip to try & strengthen the contractions to get the last cm but at 7pm was still 8-9cm. Went in for c-section at 8pm! All good-now waiting in recovery to be transferred to a ward wirh Rafferty sleeping next to me and the baby from hell crying the place down in the bay next door!!
