***** January 2015 Mummy's *****

Congratulations Kiwi xxx So glad all is well with your little man xx

I love that cute cake meg xxx

Did someone say cake

It's a gorgeous cake Meg!

My manager has only just realised that Monday will be the last day she sees me until 2016 so she is flapping about trying to organise a lunch.

Hope your wee boy is doing OK Kiwi? Does he have a name yet?

Are anyone else's BH painful? Until today they've been a little uncomfortable but today they really hurt!

Are anyone else's BH painful? Until today they've been a little uncomfortable but today they really hurt!

They say BH contractions are not painful but they do seem to be for some women. I had painful BH with my last pregnancy starting about 35 weeks. They hurt at the front at the bottom of my bump like period cramps. They were not regular, just from time to time. My labour eventually started with contractions that felt the same but were more often and got more intense after a few hours. I haven't had any painful ones yet this pregnancy. Sometimes they are intense and quite uncomfortable, unless I have a full bladder, then it hurts, but its my bladder that hurts from being squeezed, I guess, not really the contraction.

My BH are more uncomfortable (well I say BH, I am honestly not sure if they are movement or BH)

They often make me stop what I am doing but they aren't actually painful, just weird!

Yeah I'm not sure whether I'm getting BHs or if baby just moves into an awkward position. I tend to notice particularly when I'm walking and I'll get two or three in a row so I suspect bh.

My BH were much worse first time around which is a relief as they were constant last time from about 22 weeks on. This time, I do get tightenings, but half the time I think it's actually just her bum or back sticking up and not an actual BH.

Not long left now ladies.

How is your colleague now Nat?

Kiwi, hope you and little man are doing well xx

I can't believe how close its getting! I really need to pack my hospital bag! I know what you mean about struggling more this time around ceecee. I was feeling pretty great this time last pregnancy but I'm really feeling it this time. I've had problems with anemia and high bp and just feel a lot slower and heavier. I think it is the effect of having two pregnancies close together plus trying to keep up with a toddler. I don't get as much time to look after myself as I did last time.

I feel the same ceecee and bunny- this time is so much harder and more uncomfortable for sure!

Just had such a spicy curry for dinner! Not for any eviction purposes, but it has crossed my mind as she's now going crazy!!!! Time for ice cream to cool things down ;-)

We're watching breaking bad at the mo- I feel like I'm half a decade behind the rest of the world!!! X

Yikes, it's been a while since I've been on! Some babies are here already!! Congratulations guys! Can't wait until my turn, getting uncomfy now!! :D

I started Breaking Bad (and Dexter) but I only got to second series as I literally have no spare time.

James doesn't go to bed until 9pm - I know, we've tried everything to get him down earlier but this has been his bedtime for about a year now. Since being preggers I tend to go to bed when he does so I don't have time for tv in the evenings. I was enjoying BB though.

Finding this pregnancy so very much harder..I always say I was 2 years older, 2st heavier and on the back of not having a proper sleep for 2 years so it was always going to be harder? Thankfully I'm healthy though and haven't had any real physical trouble *touch wood*

Colleague and manager been much better. We're going out for my leaving / xmas lunch on Mon. Its my manager's last day until after im on ML.

Yeh, I think you've summed up why its harder this time CARNAT. The only bit that was worse last time was the morning sickness. It was bad enough this time but last time I could barely move, eat or drink for 2 weeks and I was still throwing up well into tri 2. I lost a load of weight. I think it actually made tri 3 easier for me though because I ended up a lot slimmer than I am this time. I'm already overweight plus I carry large so my body is having to work overtime and it's finding it a struggle.

Oh my gosh! I know I keep saying the same old thing but baby is literally sitting on a nerve or something today- the stinging and stabbing pains in my cervix are so painful I can't actually walk. I'm also getting real tightenings, although it might just be her wriggling.

We had a stupidly spicy curry last night, I'm so scared I've made her want to evacuate!!!!!

I've had several spicey curries. It makes him wiggle a lot but not had any problems. Generally I think things like curry only work when your body is all ready to go and just waiting for something to tip the balance. Same thing as sex. It can help get labour going once you are ready but normally won't make any difference during the rest of pregnancy. Your body makes hormones to protect itself from being triggered into labour too early.

Yeah Bunny, I knew it would be fine- I had a vindaloo with Freddie at 41 weeks and even that didn't work!!!

I just freaked myself out with what I was feeling earlier- it shocks me how different it is, or maybe it's that I've just forgotten? I'm so fed up of moaning though- we've got sausage casserole and a film as soon as Freddie goes to bed tonight and hubby's going to give me a footrub as I keep crying I feel so miserable.

But that's probably hormones too!!!

At least I know I will have my baby one way or another 4 weeks on Monday :-)

I feel like all I'm doing is moaning too. It's rubbish.

Don't know how hubby puts up with it sometimes!

We need to start a moaning club, lol. This was my favourite bit of the last pregnancy but its just feeling like hard work this time .

I've bored myself silly moaning.... I am so over feeling this way. I'm tired and miserable and just generally feeling quite rubbish. I have to make an effort not to snap at people at the moment as I could gladly tell the world to eff off. My poor OH.....

I actually went out for dinner with some friends earlier and had a glass of Prosecco. It was bloody lovely. That cheered me right up at the time.... I'm now in bed with a snotty toddler and heartburn though lol

Hahaha I'm soooo glad I'm not the only one!!!

Isn't it funny, I feel so lonely in this stage of pregnancy and I remember feeling the same way last time too- I don't want to go out and snap at anyone who dares to suggest that's an option, yet I see piccies of friends at Xmas parties and feel insanely jealous. We've waited ages to be here and now we moan, but I think it's normal- if we can't moan to each other who can we?! Just think, it's only just over two weeks until January and then we'll start dropping like flies!!!!

Hooray for our little bundles and squishing them on the outside!!!
Xxx

OMG! Two weeks, not sure I'm ready for that either, lol. I seriously need a hospital bag packed!
