***** January 2015 Mummy's *****

Hey girls sorry for not being on to update for a wee while, my life is so busy, do t think I realised how busy I would be, but loving every moment of it :) thanks all for the well wishes! We got home lastnight so we are really chuft, kidney scan and things with baby went better than could ever be expected and they are thinking that he won't need an operation after all, just monitoring and hoping everthing stays the same :) still no name yet, so will really have to get thinking!
Hope all of you are keeping well, must try and get caught up with all what's going on. Xxx

That is just astounding news Kiwi, I am so thrilled for you.

I can only imagine how having this hanging over you has cast a real shadow so I am so happy that after all this time you've finally been giving some positive news.

I am just over the moon for you.

X

PS: I am getting movement (having some now, just back from lunch) just not as much as usual?

I am not worried as such, just thinking she may have had a growth spurt. I recall from James the movements do slow down a bit.

X

Kiwi that's brilliant news. Get thinking of a name.

Nat I know what you mean about the movement. Since baby has now turned back to back the movement is still there but different.

Kiwi - that's fab news, glad to hear your little one may escape having an op after all, and glad you're all home safe & sound!

Midwife says baby still feels transverse so she is referring me for a scan. After all the prodding to determine position, baby got hiccups!

Mrs W, yay for last day. Must be a relief :) Good luck with the pelvic tilts! xx

That's excellent news Kiwi, congratulations x

Glad you're feeling movement now Nat x

Baby hasn't grown much in the last 2wks but they didn't seem overly concerned (not as much as me lol). I'm being admitted on Friday for induction, hoping I wont have to wait too long as she i was there before there was a lady waiting for 2 days before they even started off the process.

Eek am all over the shop today, going to lock myself away later and have a good cry I think lol

Aw tinsel. Hope scan brings better news. Still if it's a c section at least you'll know what date you'll meet your baby.
Can't believe that could be my last shift at work till 2016.

Kiwi that's incredible news, I'm so thrilled for you!!!

Jayceesmamma is also being induced tonight- so we will
Have more December January babies!!! Xxx

Kiwi that's great news! Pleased to see you're home now too.

Carnat I had a wee panic last week as had the exact same thing, I had a scan though (which was already booked) and all was ok which obviously put my mind at rest but as you know and the others say give the hospital a call if you're not happy with it. I did sort of reason that it was a growth spurt and it was making movements that I can't always feel myself (where OH has put his hand on and can feel them but I'm oblivious!). Xx

Oh Kiwi I am absolutely thrilled for you that the news is so positive and that you are home with baby! Got a massive grin now!

Chicken I hope you manage to get a relaxing few days before your induction, and that you don't have to wait around too much. Got everything crossed for a smooth process for you!

Kiwi that's amazing news. Absolutely thrilled for you and little man about not needing the op and yay for being home :)

Kitty, keep an eye on the plug. Lots of women start to lose bits of plug around now for a few weeks, some lose it all in one go and some don't lose it until waters go. Without scaring you, I started to lose a bit throughout the day along with cramps when I was 36+6 and went into labour that night! I thought I was just losing bits like normal as there was no blood in it.

Good luck to Jayceesmama for induction tonight. All these babies coming already is making it feel very real now!

Yuck Nat, hope work doesn't drag on too much for you over the next 4 weeks.

I lost a bit of plug in the day and went into labour that night too. It didn't have blood in it but later during labour the rest came out and it did. I've heard of other women loosing plug ages before going into labour though. Or could just be a bit of thick discharge, not plug?

Hope things go well Jayceesmama.

Kiwi- what great news so glad things are going well

Nat- I still get lots of movement. My little guy is a bit hyper I think :). I have noticed a difference in his movements recently though. I don't get thumps from kicks anymore. Its more pushing and squirming. I'm assuming there is no room left in there for propper kicks. Depending on the position of the baby etc it could mean you don't feel as many movements? If you are worried though it never hurts to get checked.

Hope you girls are doing ok.
1st day off work today and having a bad one. Hubby has hospital today for his results of his post chemo ct scan. I am terrified of what they are going to say. Hopefully it is clear.
Also think maybe the reality has all hit me that I will soon have a baby. I have so much running through my head. I'm scared that something will happen to baby and then I'm scared about giving birth.
My head is all over the place.
Sorry for the moan ladies.

Good luck for hubby's results today Mrs_W...Ill be thinking of you and sending positive thoughts xx

Bunny, my movements are similar. Lots of squirming and always at similar times. Usually around breakfast time, and around 7.30/8pm at night. otherwise, it's just little bits here and there.

I'm done! Seen the gp this morning as I've had a productive cough since a week past Thursday. Through the night I had a few pretty bad coughing fits where I just couldn't get my breath and ended up with chest and shoulder pain. Gp thinks it's a viral chest infection with pulled muscles from the extreme coughing. And the advice? Take paracetamol! I'm exhausted and in a lot of pain :/

Good luck Mrs w! My dad is now 2/3 through and it's getting harder each time. Midway scan looked promising for him. Hope you get good news today!

Hi ladies! Sorry I've been away for a while. Wow what alot to catch up on!

Firstly congratulations Kiwi on the birth of your baby boy! My DD was 6lbs 8 born, what a perfect weight! Really glad to hear it's positive news your end since his birth. :-)

Looks as though a few of us are on mat leave soon. Being self employed I'm working right up to delivery but slowing down alot after Xmas.
Seem to have caught a cold as i always do every year before Xmas. Homemade honey and lemon for me today!

Good luck Mrsw on your husbands scan results. I'm not suprised your feeling a bit panicked. You have a lot on as well as being pregnant. Just take each day as it comes and I'm sure you'll be more than ok once baby decides to start their arrival. :-)

How is your movement now Carnat? I am most certainly having quiet days which make me a bit worried. Then the next few days he goes crazy sticking arms and legs out everywhere.
Have you tried all the tricks to get her to have a good wriggle?

So I'm 33 weeks 3 days. Finally tomorrow is the day of my consultant appointment regarding my csection! Not convinced they will give me a date tomorrow but at least it's all a step in the right direction. It's been very hard not knowing how my delivery will be or when.
Feel so unorganised for baby, looking forward to doing some baby sale shopping to make up for it! Then as soon as i know my delivery date i can finally pack that hospital bag!! Keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow :-) xx

Hope the results are good MrsW.

Hope you feel better soon Meg. Its awful when you cough that much. It makes you hurt so much. I guess there isn't much a doctor can do for a viral infection? I find snuggling up with a hot waterbottle on my chest and drinking plenty of herb tea tends to give some relief from a bad chest.

Good luck Mrs w! My dad is now 2/3 through and it's getting harder each time. Midway scan looked promising for him. Hope you get good news today!

That's great about your dads scan. It is so tough for them and so tough for us to see them suffering so bad.
