***** January 2015 Mummy's *****

Yay glad your now officially tri 3 Carnat!

I finally have my 25 week midwife appointment today. Can't wait to hear baby boys heart, know his position and most of all tell my midwife to book me that 34 week vbac appointment so i can have a date for my csection!
Feel like I've reached another hurdle, next one 27 weeks for tri 3! ;-) xx

Glad baby is behaving for you MrsW and so good to hear your DH is on his last round xx Really hope he feels lots better soon xx

GTT at 8am in the morning :( Early start for me and OH is dropping LO off for me so I can finish up at hospital and go straight into work and pick him up when I'm finished :) xx

I guess it's quite normal, but I'm really struggling to sleep properly these days. It takes me 2-3 hours to finally fall asleep and then I wake up several times either very thirsty, or needing yet another wee....

Despite the short and poor quality of my sleep, I'm not so tired in the mornings... I suppose it's nature's wise way of training us for when the LO is here! :nap::nap:

Anyone else going through similar?

Good luck for GTT hun!

I haven't slept more than 3-4 hours in a row since I was in Tri 3 with my first born

I am a crap sleeper generally though!

I am OK in the mornings, by 8pm I can barely hold a conversation!!

Just noticed my ticker says tri 3 isn't until 28th October?? That makes me 28 weeks which isn't right is it??

X

Could do with some advice ladies, for the past 3 hours I have had pains at the top of my belly, I have been unwell with the flu for the past 2 weeks do u think this could be related to my pain or should I call my midwife

If in any doubt always ring the MW hun, she can assess whether it's worth seeing someone?

Have you had a cough? Could it be where you've pulled muscles?

X

Thanks hun xx

My sleep is rubbish the last few weeks too :( I'd nap now if I could xx

I would ring mw just to put my mind at rest hun xxx

Thanx ladies I phoned mw she said to take some paracetamol and if no better in an hour then the phone back so fingers crossed the painkillers start working soon

Great! Back from my midwife appointment feeling annoyed and let down!
My usual midwife is off this week on holiday so saw another lady from another practise. Always a bit annoying but hey, we all need time off!

So i was told at my vbac appointment 4 weeks ago that if i still wanted to elect a csection i should notify my midwife when i next see her and she will notify the hospital that i need a 34 week consultant appointment. It even says this on a form from my vbac appointment which was put in my notes.
So i tell the midwife i saw today and she said no, that's not what happens, as your already on their system an appointment should just come through for you.
Wtf! Well what would happen if i actually wanted a vbac, what would be the point of another appointment!?

The problem i have is that I've chosen to go to a hospital which the midwife's from my area don't work with. Therefore communication between them and the hospital is pretty limited.
Even so for something as common as an elective section after an emcs you would think they would know what happens. I'm not the only one from my area going to this hospital!
She just said, oh well that's how it works in our hospital.

Rubbish! So after waiting all this time to feel I've made another step closer to this 34 week appointment and knowing in my head the delivery I'll have, I've hit a red light! :-(
I've got to wait till my midwife is back on Monday where she will talk to her about it and possibly telephone my hospital to check what's going on.

I felt like saying, don't worry I'll just call them myself!

Rant over, sorry ladies.
Hope your all having a better day than me xxx

Hubby's chemo is all done!! Woohoo. Now to concentrate on getting his strength back and enjoying the last 2/3 months pregnancy. Happy we can start to get a bit of normality back.
On another note got asked a ridiculous question today, "so your bump is quite big for 28 weeks, do you think it's all baby or all fluid?"
How the £&@* do I know?!?
Also getting so tired of people touching and commenting on the belly. 8 weeks of work to go! Bring it!

Great news Mrs w! My dad has his second chemo on Thursday, his last is due the week before baby is due. He even had one scheduled for Christmas day but we're hoping that'll change. It's a slog eh!

It's horrible to see them going through it despite knowing it will be worth it. Here's hoping they change the xmas day one.
Hope he's keeping as well as possible through it.

That's great news Mrs w.
I ended up phoning hospital again last night as painkillers didnt work, they told me to go hospital and they have kept me over night, put me on stronger painkillers which have taken the edge of the pain they said baby is doing fine so that's good, just waiting to see doctor again an hopefully I can go home today, I think I have just been doing to much an have pulled all the muscles in my belly

Glad you went and got checked over hun, hopefully you are off home soon for lots of R&R!

X

Glad that's it for him now mrs w

Aw hun sorry to hear you're in hospital, glad you got seen to hope you're home soon and the pain stops..

Tmi.. Very wet today :/ anyone else got this?

Sattie hope you feel better soon- always better to get checked out though x

Jaycee- I had this yesterday to the point where I thought I was bleeding!!! Baby is so low I've managed to scare myself that I'm going to go into premature labour!! I know that's unlikely especially as my first was two weeks late but she is SO low.

Midwife appt this avo so at least I can find out where she is and if she is low or if she just feels it x

I don't have my 28w appointment until I am 28w 6d. Last appointment (16w) was at 15w 4d  so I have been left to my own devices for 13 weeks - madness!

I have had extra scans though, have my next growth scan on 30th!

Anyone else finding kicks / movement uncomfortable [or even painful?]. This little one has a proper boot on her, makes me jump out of my skin. I don't remember having this with James??

X

So glad your OH is finished Mrs W xxx

Sorry you were kept in Sattie but you were better off to get seen anyway I would too after last time I had chest pains xx

Good luck with mw Jolly xx

Back at work after GTT went ok took them a bit of work to get my veins but got there in the end so I have 4 nice bruises :( GP on Tuesday then back at hospital November 3rd xx

I have kicks like that on and off Nat and they really knock you !! I've told everyone its not a baby I'm having ats a kangaroo ;) xxx

Hope you're ok jolly let us know how u get on!x

Gosh yes this one is soooo strong!! It's unreal!! I've also dropped too which is good in a way as I've got some room to breathe and baby doesn't get my ribs anymore unless I'm sitting down!
